Gobble is a meal kit that focuses on super quick, easy to make meals. They say that their meals only take around 15 minutes to make so we decided to see if that's true. In this video review we time the whole prep and cooking process to see how long it actually takes to make a meal from Gobble.

You didn't include the time to prepare the bowls for the chicken coating which just appeared at the beginning. That would add another 3 to 5
and pre heating the oven and pan, my oven takes at least 20 min to preheat lmao

Oh thank you! The secret is the lens :) it’s called a sigma 18-35 1.8f. It’s expensive but it’s basically the only lens we own.
I’ve ordered first box of Hello Fresh but would perhaps like something quicker to prep and cook. This may be an option to consider. Thank you for your video review!

Would love to know your recommendations for a family of 5..with 3 of them teenagers. I find there aren't many options for over 4 servings.
Good question! You’ll want to look for meal delivery services with add ons. So you can order their biggest plan and simply add on extra servings as needed. Sunbasket and Home Chef could be great options to consider. Sunbasket has a pretty huge marketplace of add ons to choose from that could basically replace grocery shopping. And they have a bunch of pre-made meals.
For super quick meals, check out RealEats. They’re pre-made and cook up sous vid style. They also have a pretty big marketplace.

It's mostly pre-prepped but there is sometimes food you'll need to prepare. To be honest, Gobble is pretty expensive for what you get. There are similar meal kits with great tasting meals and little prep for much less. HelloFresh, Home Chef, and Sunbasket are great alternatives.

Have you had issues with deliveries being delayed with any of the meal kit deliveries (not just Gobble)? I got a message from FedEx that my delivery was delayed a day. Gobble said they pack the boxes to keep cold for an extra day, but when it arrived I temped the chicken and steak and they were around 50 degrees. (Gobble has refunded me.) It's not even very warm out...rather chilly! I had contacted FedEx and they said it's because the delivery date was based on shipping the day the label was created, whereas it shipped a few days later (and things had changed?). Delays like this were common with Misfits Market, but wasn't a big deal for veggies and fruit. Meat is another story. This is the time of year when I need meal kit boxes because work is so hectic. I'm wondering if this delivery delay is a common issue amongst food delivery companies. Does requesting a certain day of the week for delivery help?
I’m sure it can be different based on where someone is in the country, so my experience may be different. But I have only had this happen once with Gobble being an intermittent customer for years. Gobble immediately took care of it and it did not happen again.
Much too expensive for me. Double the price of Hello Fresh which I love. But ... thank you for the video ;).
Definitely one of the more expensive meal kits :/ HelloFresh is a great meal kit!

That is a lot of plastic.
One of the biggest issues with meal kits is how they wrap a lot of stuff in plastic :(. We're noticing many are making the move to become more sustainable.
