- Searching for Rare Star Notes and Fancy Serial Numbers - Bill Hunting
I'll be searching through $1,000 worth of $1 bank notes from my local bank. All of these $100 $1 Bill straps are teller straps. These are straps the bank tellers assemble from customer and business deposits. I typically have better luck when searching federal reserve notes strapped by the Federal Reserve rather than by the bank employees but I was still excited to hunt through these notes!
We're hoping to find more rare star notes, any valuable old bills, or any fancy or cool serial numbers in these circulated stacks of bills. I hope you enjoy this bit of bill hunting with me.

🔴Barr Notes info:
Among the most sought-after U.S. paper money of the late 1960s are the short-lived "Barr" Notes. The bills feature the signature of then Secretary of the Treasury, Joseph W. Barr. Barr had a relatively short term of office, the shortest of anyone that has held the position (December 21, 1968 - January 20,1969), leading to hoarding of these $1 Secretary Barr Notes. These notes are Series 1963B.

I found a $2 bill on the ground, a block from my house today.
Great finds.
The 1988A G..V note was printed in February 1993, and the 1999 E..A note was printed in January 2000 (the same month that your son Robbie was born!)
Thanks for your assistance and sharing information.
Interesting!
How the heck are you finding a 'B' 2021 star note in Texas and I rarely find a normal 2021 in PA?!?! You put a flipper back....you're killing me.
B is a very high demand bank, so those are pumped out by the ton. Until recently, B was the only 2021 that I see in Minnesota, but now I see a G note. Have yet to see any 2021 Star notes though.
@@collectingonthecheap56353 Nope!
I have yet to find a 2021 bill of any kind, in rural PA and always use cash
LOL, I ended up keeping the flipper note.
I wish I could get somebody to answer me about a bill that I have the last two serial numbers are zeros and they appear to have eyes in the lower right hand corner looking down as if they were cartoon sort of looking eyes I have never seen anything like it and I wish somebody could tell me what it means if anything? Does anybody know if I can take a photo and send it so you have an idea as to what I'm talking about? Thank you very much in advance I appreciate any assistance that somebody could provide to me I'm quite anxious to know what it means if anything and again if I can send a picture that would be very helpful
Still a great hunt with teller straps.
Found a 1963p dime today with 2 Canadian dimes, and a 1951 20 Francs.......
Thank You for sharing. I enjoy your videos.
Appreciate the "realistic" numbers being pulled. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on finding 9 star notes thanks for sharing Rob
I got 2 consecutive 20*s from the ATM last night they have a total run of 620k surprised the heck out of me!
Nice hunt brother thank you so very much for sharing hope you have a wonderful holiday 👍👍❤️🙏
Merry Christmas, Rob and Charlani!! 🎄💵🪙
Merry Christmas as well!
Merry Christmas! I hope someday I’ll see the vid where you actually find a web note! I normally on and off so if I missed it in the past, I hope I see it in any future vids.
Another fun bill hunt would be cool if you could a date run of just star notes
Enjoyed as always Rob! Your dedication is much appreciated! Happy Hunting! Stephen
Entertaining as always, thanks for the video Rob 😀🇺🇸
Thanks for the hunt Rob!
Another great video! Thanks Rob!
Great strap hunt good sir!
That flipper you sent back is worth about 15$. Nice hunt
Nice
Thanks and BOOM! 💥
Congrats on the starnotes brother 👍
Merry Christmas Rob🎅🏻😎
I kind of feel like you are yelling at me or maybe speaking to the far corners of the room ❤️
I do sound like I am doing that for sure.
Most excellent hunt!! 🤘
hey rob, thanks for the amazing content and education as always. where do you have luck selling your star notes? i heard you mention you wait until you have $50 and then sell as a bundle
Hi
Hi brother!
Cool Channel Sir
Thank you!
✌️
I have a $10 star note only 128k printed have no idea what it’s worth
Selling them in lots of 50 is smart
Cool hunt Rob, I just went through 2k bundle from my local chase. Let’s just say it was very disappointing. 🤷♂️
Yeah, they can be rough sometimes but you never know what could be in the next strap!
How do go about getting federal reserve strapped bills?
I have a $1 bill with six 5s in a row in the serial number
I found 2 1924 $100 bills collected by my late brother not sure if they are collectible or not what do you think thanks
Are you going to converse the Roman coin?
Yeah, I will try to see if I can get enough details on it.
Since You Mentioned A Bill With A Serial Number With Just A One What If You Find One And It’s In Gem Mint Condition How Much Would It Go For ?
Hey Rob, another great video! Can't get mad at 9 star notes. Listen, I'm working on another batch of fancy serial numbers for you, I'll send you the list once I have about 12-15 of them. So far just a few true bday notes, a couple radars and repeaters. Oh and I just found another 6 straight number, this time 16666669 $100 bill. As always, keep it up brother! Hoping for grape juice tomorrow!
how do you sell your starnotes that are no so rare? I doubt there is a lot of demand for them.
Anybody else think that 12535312 was cool enough to keep?
Where can I find if my star notes are valuable? A web site if available. T.Y.
I've come across about a half dozen year ago and I spent them because I don't know how to sale so I really don't care
And
Not many people would reject a 69 😈
I have thousands of $1 star notes.
Many, many, many, the "elusive "B" doubles.
I dont even know why I save them.
Rob insulted me when I tried to buy some of his junky-"junk silver".....so F him.
But ...who wants my collection? I'm ready to sell or burn (and I'll probably burn them--I;ll post a video)
merry xmass fools!
Boo hoo
