I made my hammer with a piece of steel tube. Turned down 2 endcaps and silver soldered them on then filled the tube with molten lead then drilled and tapped the endcaps to accept a brass and a Delron face. Used a threaded insert into the lead to secure a simple wooden handle. I cannot say that it is the most beautiful tool ever made but it is nicely balanced and very useful.
Nice make. I would have put the handle in the freezer and heated the head then joined them together as I would make it at home. I suppose being in a workshop, there is no use of a freezer. Nice style, I like it.

I like the press fit over threading it with a grub screw.
Nice work!
Wow! That’s amazing! 👍

I think that's best. You don't get a second chance at fitting them
Really like the simplicity, since it will be something that will get it's share of use and abuse....
Very nice hammer, is possible tell me the the name of tool in minute 1:36? Thanks
HSS blank ground to a rounded tip.
