This is so much easier to refill than the usual bump-feed heads. I am just a massive fan.

These are no joke. I have 35 years experience with string trimmers. Buy one now.
Mine is exactly like the one seen here. They have a newer/cheaper & lighter version out now. I snagged an extra one of these older styles while I could. Never had a problem with my original. They are greatness. Good Review by Big Backyard Ideas, well done sir.

Thanks for the compliment! Iove the ease of use of this. But my local lowes has stopped selling them! I've a new strimmer and bought the new version they sell which is very, very different to this. I want my old one back! I'm going to ebay to see if I can get one. New version is very different and is like a normal strimmer head that you put one of these links through. Tighten it up and....30 secs later it shoots off. The version I reviewed here is 4000% better than the new one. NEw video coming out each week BTW! Inc not so good review of new version!

I've been using a PivoTrim head for many years. I'll NEVER go back to a "bump feed head" ever again. I purchased my first PivoTrim head for a Homelite trimmer and used it until the Homelite trimmer was worn out. I removed the PivoTrim head and installed it on a new Echo trimmer. After about three seasons on the Echo trimmer, the pivoting line holders were worn out. (after a total of about 7 years of use on a large yard with lots and lots of things that needed trimmed.) I just replaced the entire head instead of only the pivoting line holders.
I highly recommend the PivoTrim head. It just keeps on working perfectly. Very easy line changes, but the line lasts a very long time compared to a bump feed head. Change the line with no tools in less than a minute.

Yep, it's excellent. I had one for many years. When the trimmer work out, I ditched the whole unit, but the Pivotrim was as good as new after all those years. Economical too. I used to just grab a 100 ft roll of string and cut off pieces as needed. I've got a crappy trimmer now that won't accept a Pivotrim, so I'm going shopping for a new trimmer next weekend. Thanks for the video.

Im in landscaping. This is the worst. I looked it up and trying to remove it so i can put on the bump head. The first few minutes are fine. The rest of the duration it is nothing but short string which takes longer to cut. If you have to trim concrete or edge it turns a 10 minute job into a 30 minute job having to constantly change the strings. If you are ONLY trimming light areas of grass and not frequently in a small yard well ok. For the most part it sucks.

So easy compared to strimmer head I always end up cursing at. Can you get them at home depot?
