This is a murder machine 😂
*Bom dia, boa tarde e boa noite. Como se chama essa peça de encaixe com a corrente, e se a peça adapta facilmente à roçadeira nakasaki 63Cc ???*
Good morning, good afternoon and good night. What is this chain fitting part called, and does it easily fit with the nakasaki 63Cc mower?
You Can't Be Serious !?!? 5 Steel Blade Trimmer Head !?!? Next Review should be on Russian Roulette !?!? 🤯🤣
Îmi place foarte mult
I bought one of these a couple years ago. I attached it to my 42cc Echo brush cutter. I used it on very thick blackberry brambles. It cut right through them. I used a chopping motion from the top down, nice and slow, so the chains would mulch everything rather than just cut at the base. Definitely got the job done. The only drawback I see is potential danger to the user. I wore thick chaps, leather boots, a long sleeved sweatshirt, leather arm sleeves for welding, thick leather gloves, an old dirt biking chest protector, and a safety helmet with a visor. I didn't want any metal coming back at me. And while cutting the brambles, I clipped an old metal pipe I couldn't see sticking up from the ground. It sent sparks flying. Thankfully it was winter and just after a rain. But, I must say this thing does work well.
This is a new Texas Chainsaw Massacre accessory....
🖤❤️🍽️?
I had a similar chain trimmer head back in the 90’s. The chain was smaller and not doubled. It would cut the saplings down. I almost cut down a fiberglass streetlight pole trimming the grass around it. Edging was great.
One problem. The edging around concrete would wear the chain down and it would sling pieces of metal at high speed. I could never find a replacement head. I figured the Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled the product, UNTIL NOW. It has been resurrected and improved.
I have this chain.not only does it cut grass and 25mm branches, bot can also cut bricks in half.awesome!!!
Clear, smart explanation and a 1-2-3.
Some viewers made smart comments and the best might be "i really hope you made some iron pipe leggings to go with that." Add steel lined boots. What other materials might be used with less fragmentation if rocks, etc., are hit?
Chainsaw trousers are a good idea.

Not when I was using it, on a Croft (like a very small farm), I made sure I was the only person for aleast 150m.
As I’ve mentioned in other comments I will acknowledge how phenomenally dangerous, I knew that if it even clipped my leg I would in all likelihood loose the leg.
Love this, I like how I won't have to be spooling up twine often 👍
This could be my favourite UA-cam invention yet! 10/10
This and similar products with linked metal cutting parts (eg chains) are banned in the EU and unless UK updates its legislation also in UK, This followed a fatal accident in Scotland where the end link of a chain flew off and severed the spinal cord in the neck of a person working away from the operation. Unlike plastic cords and hinged plastic blades the steel links have about 8 times the density and so at the same speed have 8 times the momentum if they are ejected, ie similar to a bullet. This is why only solid cutting blades (as on a brush cutting head) or plastic parts are allowed.
I actually had one and it was the best attachment I had fur the bushcutter, but I will agree, they are phenomenally dangerous.
It's worth it. 10 men die but we cleared 20 square kilometers of land!
It's perfect when there are a bunch of protesters close to the front yard.

My grandfather warned me about a snapped chain being a lethal piece of shrapnel. This seems to be just a matter of time before there’s an “accident”! I’d throw on some bucking chaps and armoured steel toes. I know a guy who died home brewing stuff like this at home. It was all fun and games up till then!
That's exactly what I was going to post . I agreed with you , it's stupid to use so deadly tool !!!
Look Ma, I won't have to buy shoes anymore because my feet have been cut off at the ankles.
Jajajajaja
Probably worth having in the arsenal. Although more robust than string this is better suited for the open areas and switching to string for the more delicate perimeter obstacles.
Looks perfect for cutting thick briar patches.
Thank you so much for testing this for us. It may be dangerous but when you have 3 acres of thin brush and thick love grass you have to look at all options
Wonder it is available for a walk behind weed trimmer.
im a certified Stihl technician and i can tell you this will void any warranty and safety is not guaranteed by Stihl. an FS model is defiantly not going to handle that for to long. a KM Model might hold up, however stihl offers safer possibly more effective head attachments.
run one of these tools in to your leg one time and suddenly safety is all you want to talk about.. take it from someone who knows..
there is also operational procedures Stihl would like Operators to be aware.. in the case of Weed Wackers and Brush wackers (FS and KM) one thing is angle of cut.. that concerns me with the chin idea is what is the correct angle of cut to prevent kick back? Hopefully the manufacture of the Chain wacker shares its Safety testing information
Regardless, once you put a non Stihl head on your Stihl like the video creator did you are on your own. the liability is your own completely
@@pushyslayer4561 how would you know if they replaced it, if they switched them out afterwards to claim you all liable
@@ravenravstopbanningmeyt1034 if it were me making the claim id inspect the string shield, if all was in place and the pinion, shaft or clutch took damage id pretty much know something was used incorrectly.
Then we also speak with the customer. most the time they will let us know..
Either way, even if you were my best friend and i wanted to get you the claim i likely would not be able to find a cause of failure that is a factory defect.
Stihl Engineers put a lot of effort in their Product, and the Designs have not changed for a long time so Stihl knows what to expect.. Even if i made the claim because i did not recognize it was damaged from miss use Stihl will review it and if they come to the conclusion i was incorrect they will send the claim back and i will have to pay for it out of pocket (or at least the Business)
in all they years ive only ever personally found one Saw, believe MS251 that had a factory defect. Stihl was already Aware they had this issue so when i found one that had the defect they replaced it with new for the customer immediately.. Like i said, they are very familiar with he engineering of their product so they almost always know what to expect.

I made a similar device from an old 12" chain saw blade bolted into a oregon strimmer head. Works fantastic on heavy grass and brush.

Wow those are dangerous! A friend of my dad used a Sthil weed eater with the saw blade adaptor kit and hit a rock shattering the blade which hit his ankle almost cutting his foot off. I would guess the chains would do the same thing one comes apart.
This thing looks literally like a chainsaw, but without a bar to guide the blade. How could anyone think this is a good idea?
@@buckrogers2828 thats what i thought too, it would be like a projectile if it broke off and if its made in china it may happen very soon after using it
@@montyharder3663 One word: Russia.
@@uragunini2097If a link breaks close to the attachment point, it would cause the rest of the chain to fully extend. Next thing you know youre in the emergency room.
This was my exact thought. This thing would be TOO MUCH. Like bringing a grenade to a knife fight. All you're meant to be cutting is weeds/grass. You don't need to also be able to lop off limbs. Zombie apocalypse? Sure. Doing chores? Hell no!
Should be sold in stores! The best!👍🏻
nice review. love how you detail it step by step and comment. thanks
these things are incredibly dangerous. the chain broke on mine and wrapped around my lower leg giving me nasty lacerations and broken bones . i was lucky to keep my leg. It shredded the guard my shinpads overalls and steel capped Redwings. Don't even think of getting one.
Your choice
It surprises me that such an obviously dangerous thing is even available to AVERAGE JOE!
Wow that’s scary thanks for sharing. Where did the chain hit you? I was thinking about trying one some day, thought I’d be fine if I wore shin pads. I think I’ll reconsider.
@@Shaun-mt5wv Doubt that it was the same model. Those are chain LOOPS, so it would have to break at 2 points simultaneously to separate and injure someone..
@@austrobok2958, that’s cool to know. I really liked the way it worked. When I went to buy it they were only sold out of Canada. Do you think they are safe?
The HSE banned these in the UK last year following the death of a worker clearing a bank next to a road. His partner upslope was using a chain strimmer & a link broke off the end. The link hit him at the back of his neck where it joins his skull. He was killed instantly.
In the EU this stuff is forbidden since 2012....
bought one after watching your review, Thank you!
Looks very efficient.
I'll talk to my garden tools store to know more about it.
Great for bush stuff, but there is a reason we use nylon cord. It doesn't do significant damage to your good stuff like pipes building material & garden edgings! This chain will destroy all those things you don't wont touched. Keep this head for the bush & not around your home or you garden!
and it will eat right through pvc fencing
Same with most things of such , some common sense needs to be applied.
Well if it demand something from the user that`s obvious, but it should still be available for people with common sense. But a proper guard should be around it as if it comes loose it would be dangerous. Talking about dangerous chain saws are very dangerous but we still use them...
@@truxton1000 true , the brushcutter attachments do have guards around them , they basically do the same thing , chainsaws are different though its very rare a chainsaw chain actually breaks , they generally would just slide off the bar if they didn't have the correct tension , that's why proper protection is so important a car could be very dangerous if you ploughed into a crowd of people , its just about being safe and knowing what you are doing
@@causetheplumstasteyum7848 well said. On our estate we have large tracts of land that needs atleast 3 to 4 rounds weeding per year. With around 4-5 weed cutters operating. Since it's a hilly region the best option is this type of weeding machine. The bane of operation was the rope getting cut off too frequently and at times multiple machines stopped to fix the issues. I used a Jeeps accelerator cable instead of rope. It's almost a decade now and it still works without a problem. Yes, almost any machinery can be dangerous. Any accidents arising from them is a negligence on our part. A slip of a screw driver can be harmful or as many of us have experienced a hammered finger while nailing. I had my share of hammered fingers 😂😂😂
Similar device was pulled from the markets several years back. In certain situations, the links would break and become projectiles.
Great video. Thank you for the Demo. May i ask what is the brand of your mower?

Texas weed wacker massacre?
But, the "nylon cord" could also do this, and without the risk of loss an eye, or die with your femoral/jugular cutted off by shrapnels of a chain that will certain broke in pieces soon or later...
Check king1984mg comment😂
Using something like this would be a disaster waiting to happen if you're in an area where you are cutting where the ground is not "organic dirt", but is silica sand. Steel discs that are made with chainsaw segments around the edge were found to start flying off the disc, as the sand destroyed the rivet heads that were keeping the teeth attached to the steel discs.
My dad made kinda same thing but had a saw blade on it we used that thing for years doing landscaping and clearing hollers here in alabama
Muchas gracias una excelente de ejemplo de una buena herramienta de trabajo, espero poder conseguir esta pieza con cadena dentada tipo Moto Sierra, Cabezal de corte, éxitos Doctor D.S.
Something like this was out during the early 90s. I used it. I was never hurt by it, but I was told quite a few were. I was told there were quite a few lawsuits as a result.
Yeah i remember the disc with a chainsaw chain attached around it. It got banned pretty quick here in Sweden. Think you still can buy it in some countries.

This looks like it does a great job especially on very rough areas. There's other tools that do the job but I think I prefer this. I agree this could be dangerous, but a chainsaw for real is pretty much one of the most dangerous pieces of equipment without a guard out there, but with correct use they are indispensable.
2
Exactly...a powersaw is probably one of the most dangerous tools out there...and mostly so because people will pick one up without so much as a set of safety glasses...let alone chaps or a hardhat...
I can’t imagine the low productivity of the chain saw now using line trim. 😋😋😄😄🤣🤣😂🤣😅
its not really a chain saw chain if you look at it.. It appears to be cutting with the Drive link side of the chain and the blade side is missing.. there is no real sharp bits on it
@@pushyslayer4561 that is not why it is dangerous.

Hey Doc DS! I would like to know is there a website? How to find one and buy one.👍🏻 Thank you for your help. Talk to you soon! Take care.👍🏻
yeah if it were me, despite the strong performance, ide have to pass due to the level of safety. its one thing to have a piece of broken nylon rebound on you. But a chainsaw!!!! no freaking way. youd have to wear some thick leather chaps shin guards and some metal toe boots to see me using that thing.
Thanks, great video. How did the one with two chains work?
How does it perform as an edger? Or would you even recommend using it to edge a lawn?
Will like to know how it works where there is a lot of rocks and wood 1 in diameter

Yea 🤣
Man, it's dangerous...don't use it.
No kidding that's one of the scariest things I've ever seen
Hi there this seams a good idea but would it be safe on a larger machine say 1 with 2 handles. the 1 your using kooks like a Stihl 55 , great little strimmer they go on for years. I like your vids with good tips. The only thing I would say that your not mowing grass but weeds I cant imagine mowing a proper lawn with that head definately a no no.
This head is better than the ones they made years ago I loved them they don’t cut fine grass but anything stiff works great they really shine one things like blackberries just don’t push it into thicker vines fast or it will snap off the chain a couple links off the end it will take a while they band them in California which was sad because they worked great and I used my old chainsaw chains which was a plus
I think I'd be wearing some extremely heavy boots when using that thing.
😂
Extremely heavy is probably not so extreme in this case
And steel shin guards
And Body Armor.
I’d like to know how well this cuts toes, feet, ankles, and shins.
😂
What s professional, useful and informative video. I would strive to do half as good.
hi, i imagine by the look of it being chain as well it will take more power to drive it as appose to the regular trimmer head, what was your thoughts ? open to comments, thanks
MIne came with the head all enclosed - no tools. Mounts to the main drive it appears. Now, I am worried about using it!
now let's wait and see when the chain gives out and breaks and all those pieces of metal are hurled in every direction causing all kinds of collateral damage.
In your opinion, is it good for engines of any displacement, or is the head too heavy for a 30cc Stihl?
I’ve seen about a million of this sort of products. Frankly if I spin my son’s baby boots fast enough it will chop up vegetation. Question is how it mows and how it performs on the long run. Nice vid! Thx
A good friend of mine had a similar one of these and was doing fine until he hit hit a solid object which stopped the power head instantly and the pent up energy from 20,000 rpm twisted the trimmer and broke his arm in 2 places. That energy has to go somewhere. These things are too dangerous.
I call bs on that, i know a thing or two about how energy is transferred and with one single linkage/universal joint the torque/energy is lowered to less than 30%, these machines have 3 or 4 linkages. Plus the links in your arm to absorb the energy, that thing could stop dead and you would barely feel it let alone it break bones
@@davidbarker9561 The man I spoke of was a good friend and workmate and I had NO reason to doubt him. I saw the arm in the cast for months while it healed so take your doubts and put them where the sun don't shine.
How can I get the chain trimmer head ? Please let me know thank you
This head is better than before 👍
You get better results using a multi toothed brush blade and you don’t have to worry about slowly down for saplings. Plus there’s no moving parts like on the chain.
...and that sort of contraption is HELL on your trimmer gearbox and driveshaft..especially if you have a cable-type driveshaft...
when the zombies start chasing me ..... I can give their toenails a trim with this .... very nice !
the issue im wondering about is the areas like up against my cement steps & my decorative flower garden fence in my front lawn
this tool is gonna beat the shit out of it my cement will be chipped away & my wooden landscaping ties will be all cut & marked up / how could it not be
Did you try this on brand new Mercedes S class?
Thinking of getting one of these for my wife.
Reality check: the drive cable between the motor and the trimmer head was never designed for these increased loads and does and will fail prematurely with this chain head. I worked in a repair shop for a few years and this weakness was noticed.
That was my first thought too. Could be dangerous for the user too.
Straight shaft trimmers can easily take this attachment if this was a curved shaft then I would be worried. Straight shaft trimmers have a actual steel drive shaft in them and curved shafts have a tightly wound spring that drives the head
@@ezraredgwell Even the straight shaft ones were never designed for the added weight of a metal chain nor the shock it gives when it suddenly stops when it hits a rock or other object. The long term reliablity is in jeopardy in my opinion. Let the buyer beware.
3:15 i made an adapter, for stihl FS40, with 16 mm deep socket, cut shorter, and welded 7 1/4 inch skill saw blade, to it with 40 carbide teeth. works awesome. I JUST WISH, i would have bought a steaight shaft one. Much stronger. these curved ones, aren't very good, for heavy ' stuff' growth. THANKs bro ! any advice, for FS40 ? maybre could fit an angle gearbox. Shaft is xactly 1 inch, O.D.
Will this work on a craftsman 30cc weeder
OK in an open field... except for it's unsafe!

It's a killer chain. I like it.
Very good stuff my brother....makes me want to go mow my yard now!!! WITH MY WEAD EAT'R. THANK YOU!!!!!
Why do you think I should use this dangerous and heavy chain instead of a light and standard bush disc?
What if the blades were complete razor like sharpened?? Wud it be more effective at cutting?
Chain is on backwards, your cutting with the drive teeth. Try turning the chain around to see if it will take a leg off when it flies apart.
Look closer, the cutters have been removed.
They are cutting with the drive teeths, but one of the chains is on backwards.
@@olekdah good spotting there Sherlock”
looks much safer than the one i made with steak knife blades that swing around
If you hit something hard and the chain breaks off and hits you, I bet it would be a lot more dangerous than the standard plastic string.
Does the cutting ability change if you hook the chains in a wider position, or add more chains? It looks like it was made to be able to handle 4 rather than the two it came with.
This is a good concept, it's about using the right tool for the right job, just like nylon wire is for grass cutting and blades for thick vegitation etc. its application should only be used for overgrown grass etc, i doubt it can be used with thick vegitation as it might either damage the machine or get tangled more often since its less flexible and thicker, if it also came with a clear platic sheild to fit the front end it would be alot safer aswell since anything it hits, for eg a pebble, it will fly with atleast 20× more force. Another downside is It will damage anthing soft like paint, water pipes, plants and fence's where this machine is actualy more handy.
если вы по пояс деревянный, тогда это для вас))
В стальных латах работать можно,правда где их купить,опять на Али?

Is the lower gear box able to handle the beating
I made a brush mulcher out of a cut down lawn mower blafe that thing will mulch a 2 inch sapling down side is if it binds up it trys to lauch towards your shins
Oh, wow.
Now I have a way to get more out of my chains from my chainsaw. The extra weight would act as a flywheel capturing inertia/momentum. The energy it has would make very short work of heavy brush. Just don't work around pipes, concrete, rain gutters, or the siding of your house.
I would have a metal guard and shin guards on. Along with steel toe boots with tarsal guards.
what happens if u hit a rock hiding in the tall grass
Best trimmer I've ever used was a RedMax with a homemade adapter for a carbide table saw blade. That thing could edge, trim bushes and trees, cut down saplings of any size, and even grind stumps down even below grade.
I have some old carbide 10" or 12" miter saw blades I've been meaning to try.
The only thing holding me up is a memory.
I started cutting yards at 9yrs old. A buddy was helping one day and he was pulling his push mower backwards. I just happened to look up as his foot slipped under the mower. Someone had to be looking over him because he had on steel toed boots.
Anyway a split second after it went the mower it flew up in the air with him still attached.
It just happened I'd made him raise the cutting height up all the way. The blade hit the top of the steel toe and through his foot out some how.
That one incident got my attention and saved me a lot of times.
@@billtipp1699 You reminded me of several things with that...when I was just 10 or 11I was in a small engine repair class (extracurricular) and my neighbor was standing against a vehicle while the old man instructor was running a freshly fired up and blade sharpened mower. His feet slipped and one foot slid under that mower and WAADINNG! It cut all his toes in half sideways 😳😬
Also keep in mind the RedMax edger was modified by me to have a metal blade guard and custom insert that kept that blade centered and balanced. I used it on a job for an entire decade cleaning up overgrown foreclosed properties which we would prepare for sale. I probably only went through 4 blades in all those years and never lost a single saw tooth. That thing was the most useful fabricobbled tool in history 😆. I named it the gas powered machete.
is there one for electric versions!
Profesional work👍👍👍
Will this fit on my crappy Ryobe cordless string trimmer that hardly cuts through anything?
it might be too difficult for battery trimmer to run it. it weights ~550grams. Those weak battery or cords electric trimmers meant for cutting "grass" around trees or by the fence where only few stemps left to cut after mowing whole yard with mower and so on.. :)
Better have an ambulance in attendance when using it.
I use dull circular saw blades on my double handlebar weed whacker. They work awesomely.
The shoulder harness guarantees that I don’t cut off my ankles.
I have three old Echo brand weed-trimmers now. One I bought 20 years ago, two I got at yard sales, super cheap. Now I have one with the string attachment (the one I bought originally), one with an old saw blade, and one backup.
The one with the sawblade is awesome. Second purchase.
The one I bought originally still runs great, though the second one, the first garage sale unit starts easier after a winter’s rest..
The first garage sale unit got a new “Amazon” carburetor. It runs great now, and actually starts easier at the first startup in springtime.
So, if you have a bit of mechanical skill, I recommend older Echo brand weed whackers. I bought carburetors on Amazon. I bought gaskets and carb kits on Amazon.
This is cool you can use it for a lot of things
If you go thru too much heavy brush pieces of the chain will start to break off and become a projectile
Heavy Trimmer it will be and the Engine should be Heavy duty Trimmer engine because trimmer plugs die when used under preassure. surely it will be good for Forest cleanings by a very strong man or Trimmer expert.
PARABÉNS PELO VÍDEO, EXCELENTE!!!
