Way beyond my skill set but this is stunning. I really struggle with the paper patterns as once the paper is gone, I get lost on where to cut. Great video and carving🙏

Basswood is usually a softer wood, but it can still present challenges depending on the project. We appreciate the support, and if you have any questions or need tips on working with different woods, just let us know. Happy carving!

And to think there is modern art in galleries which consist of nothing but a couple of lines on a blank canvas that can sell for thousands. And then there are actually skilled people like here who can actually create art that actually requires time and patience who simply do it for the love of it. This is one of my favourites of the beavercraft videos so far.

My ex wife worked at the Tate Modern Gallery in London. You would not believe the shite that “the cognoscenti” think is art. Emperors New Clothes comes to mind. Everyone afraid to say it’s crap.
This tutorial is WAY beyond my skills but it awesome to watch an artist at work 😎

@@mickthebandit went there years ago as a teen me and my mate stood there staring at a wet floor sign, talking absolute nonsense about its realism. Some people snorted at us but one staff member was in stitches.
