My God! You are such a mama's boy!
I'LL TELL YOU WHAT'S MAKING SHELDON CRY!? THAT I LET YOU NAME HIM SHELDON!!!!!
Hey! Don’t Bring My Mother Into This!!!
@@loganthomas3575raj: you brought your mother into this
“I’LL TELL YOU WHAT’S MAKING SHELDON CRY, THAT I LET YOU NAME HIM SHELDON!” I feel bad for Sheldon but this had me dead.
Plankton can relate.
Stuart’s reaction is even better
To be fair, i would cry if my name was sheldon
George wasn’t actually a bad parent in the slightest, but the family clearly had some issues. Sheldon was weird and overly egotistical and completely mollycoddled by his mother, so he always though his behaviour was ok, Georgie’s reckless behaviour was probably coming from the fact that nobody ever really acknowledged when he did something right and Missy was just the middle child. The family was more than a bit dysfunctional but at least they still loved each other.
I mean even after that, the crowd are still laughing it off lmao
one of the funniest scenes in the whole show. "THAT I LET YOU NAME HIM SHELDON!" lmao
Let's be honest here even back then that was a shitty name
@@lumieretheforgiven3804
Just wait,Gen Alpha would make old school names look cool.
I don't even blame Sheldon getting that upset, because of his eidetic memory, he'd obviously remember his parents fighting a lot, must have been so triggering for him.
The Young Sheldon series proves otherwise.
Give it some time. I feel we are slowly getting to the part where this comes. @@rocketmom60
@@rocketmom60 I don't think you understand the comment.
The issue isn't that George and Mary had a bad marriage, but that because Sheldon perfectly remembers every argument, it traumatizes him.
Most kids forget the few arguments, Sheldon literally can't.... and he's also stuck with a 5 year old mentality.
Can you imagine having the mentality of a 5 year old and being forced to relive the arguments your parents had???
It's just a problem he can't do anything about.
The literal only comfort Sheldon has is that he knows that those bad things were just a small part of his father and mother...
He recognizes that they were good parents... but he can't just forget the bad and move on like most people....
@@TheDeathmailIdk what is the long comment for but the guy above you was talking about how in Young Sheldon, we never really saw any fight about George being drunk, if anything George isn't alcoholic, he may drink a couple of bears a little more then average but that's it.
@@shehabgamal8640short attention span. Also, it’s about how Sheldon literally _cannot forget things._ Just because they did happen in the show, doesn’t mean they never happened.
The way Stuart looks at Sheldon when he is yelling 😂😂
I thought I was the only one that found that funny, LOL!
Ikr 🤣
I can understand why Sheldon gets upset when his friends are fighting because it reminds him of his parents fighting from his childhood, which also brings humour to the episode.
@@jorgegaray7614 No, it wasn't because he was coddled...
She actually was kinda reasonable most of the time (because it was him with adults).
Their fights were mostly just cause adults sometimes fight.
And Sheldon has perfect memory, so he remembers each and every fight whether he likes it or not.
Normal people move on from the few fights... Sheldon can't.
He is mentally unable to grow up and is unable to forget...
He KNOWS that his dad was a good dad and his mom was a good mom, but he is just incapable of letting go....
It's an actual mental disorder he has and he can't do anything about it....
@@jorgegaray7614you're actually blaming the literal child in the scenario huh?
@@SQWEKERZwell adult sheldon is a bit...unreasonable
His reason to stop this fight was really justified. Sheldon is not a bad guy after all.
Wow, seeing Sheldon getting that mad left me speechless.
its the root trauma of his anxious nature. his world collapsing in loud noises of the humans he loves or feels safest around.
I think Mary should've helped Sheldon learn how to deal with his emotions.
Really ?? It left speechless ??? That's kinda ridiculous
It was just another moment for Sheldon putting himself in the center of attention. The whole argument had nothing to do with him and yet he has to be the victim again.
This was weird. Normally, when Sheldon gets mad at you he adds you to his enemies list.
Sheldon has a frightening accurate memory.
His parents weren't even like the way he always described.
In young Sheldon nothing Sheldon said in the BBT was accurate.
That’s his eidetic memory at work

They practically are.
right?? Raj calling Howard a mama's boy? Raj.....you remember YOUR a boi, right?? we don't argue like that😂😂
I don't blame Sheldon all that much here. I was like that when I was younger, but nowadays, I just block out any and all arguments like this by listening to my music.
Yeah, he just can't. Ridiculous hearing and a photographic memory is a horrible combo
I don't like fighting as well it upsets me like Sheldon
Crowd laughs at Sheldon expressing the root of his anxiety and fear of everything comfortable around him collapsing, made and hardwired into his little child brain, stuck as an adult.
U ever seen an applause sign
It was supposed to be funny.
Im with Sheldon. A lot of the time, Howard enjoys making fun of other peoples misery and needs a slap in the mouth to make him shut the fudge up.
Sheldon got triggered. I can't blame his outburst.
Yeah. Sheldon may take out his insecurities on other people through his entitlement and condescension, but his friends aren’t terribly better. Raj complains constantly, Howard has insurmountable schadenfreude, and Leonard is a hypocrite for belittling Sheldon’s emotional problems
Just to be clear, Sheldon has every right to be mad, frustrated and angry.
He'll get through this to calm him down
Raj rant on Howard is hilarious
Sheldon going off is even more hilarious
Sheldon snapping is why he'd make a great superhero villain.
Sheldon is one laboratory accident away from becoming a super villain
I admit I usually imagine Jim Parsons playing an evil version of Sirius in a Harry Potter reboot series. However I only imagine him evil because he's corrupted by his animagus form
@@matiaspereira9382 That'd be killer idea tho!
@@MrProjecthalo However I admit the story is basically a copy of The Amazing Spider-Man 1 to be honest. I basically have him replacing the Lizard. Agreed
Good for Sheldon for speaking up
2:03 Lol Sheldon goes off!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Idk why but I LOVE this scene! This was also the only time I ever really felt bad for Sheldon 😂
I guess that's why you love that scene
One never forgets those triggering moments, don’t need Sheldon’s memory for that. I imagine with his other issues though it becomes even more magnified. He said he doesn’t know how to tell when he crosses a line, so I would also say he doesn’t know how to explain to people when they cross lines as well.
>character has breakdown and shouts at his friends because their fighting reminds him of trauma from his childhood
>constant laughtrack
You know sometimes it's very easy to understand why neurodivergent people struggle so much in the world.
Could not have said it better myself… I get that it’s a sitcom and therefore, it has to have the grating laugh track… but putting it on Sheldon snapping and being heavily upset is so distasteful and crude.
I'm sure a lot of people watched this and didn't find it funny, but it's not supposed to be. God forbid a sitcom have some brevity.

The part when Sheldon yelled made me feel even more bad for him because of his past.
Sheldon: Stop it! Both of you! All this fighting, I might as well be back with my parents!
[Imitating his mother] Damn it, George, I told you if you didn't quit drinking I'd leave you!
[Imitating his father] Well, I guess that makes you a liar, 'cause I'm drunk as hell and you're still here!
[as his mother] Stop yelling, you're making Sheldon cry!
[as his father] I'll tell you what's making Sheldon cry: that I let you name him Sheldon!
[Storms out of the comic book store]
That could be a reference from young Sheldon
I don’t blame Sheldon for that one, that reminds me of my family sometimes
Reminds me of my parents fighting
Dude, I’m starting to think. Sheldon might have PTSD as well.
Technically speaking, to have PTSD, a person has to experience something physically traumatic, like an assault, nasty car wreck, natural disaster, etc. As far as I am aware, that didn’t happen to Sheldon (although I haven’t watched Young Sheldon so idk for sure).
Sheldon certainly could have C-PTSD though, which is more interpersonal or relationship related trauma, caused by being near, or in, a relationship (can be any kind, friend/family/romantic) that is toxic. Add to the fact that he’s on the autism spectrum which tends to make emotions feel much more overwhelming, that could certainly cause this kind of reaction.
Me too. Besides having a speech disorder, I also have or might have a higher chance of having PTSD, the 4th and 5th forms of PTSD, Uncomplicated and Complex.
Sheldon Cooper: Everybody, SHUT UP!!!!!
1:57-2:11 Too bad we never got to hear those words on Young Sheldon.

Howard is right. No ex boyfriend should sleep on your girlfriends couch. It's out of line.
Is it out of line ? Yes . But if leonerd trusted Penny, then it shouldn’t have been a problem. Besides it’s Penny’s apartment. So she can have people over there other leonerd and Sheldon.
@karleighrock593 yes but having somebody you slept with sleep on your couch is wrong. Honestly, nobody should talk to ex's when they are dating somebody.
@@askjeevescosby2928 I totally agree that you shouldn’t be talking to ex’s while you’re with someone else. However, Penny and her ex dated years before she even met leonerd and was doing her ex a favour by letting him stay on her couch while he looks for his own place. Leonerd was being rude about the situation by demanding that Penny should’ve uninvited her ex, instead of finding a helpful solution where everyone was happy.
@karleighrock593 who cares about the situation you don't invite somebody you slept with to sleep on your couch while you are dating somebody else. It's wrong. Regardless of weather or not you bang them it's just disrespectful. Especially since Leonard is short nerdy and physically repulsive compared to the buff men penny dated.
@@karleighrock593 trust is a complicated thing. It isn't boundless, and it shouldn't be a weapon to say "if you trusted me, you wouldn't mind if..." Respecting someone's trust by not pushing against that trust is key to deserving that trust.
It’s kind of awkward to rewatch this scene after seeing how George was such a good father in YS.
They had to rehabilitate each of the characters to make a show where they are likeable that could sustain multiple seasons.
“Maybe it means something different in this country, but back in India, IT MEANS YOU’RE UPSET WITH A GUY NAMED HOWARD!” 😅

He has a seriously good texan accent to sound like his mom and his dad
Because Jim Parsons is actually from Texas.

Sheldon’s memories are flawed apparently
That was a serious moment i think the laugh track or live audience whatever needed 2 be on mute 🔇 wasn't supposed 2 be a joke.
When did George ever say that in young Sheldon?
The creators regretted writing George like that in the Big Bang theory so when they made young Sheldon they retconned that
No wonder everyone thought Raj and Haword were a couple, Sheldon is like their son. 😅😅😅
More like the entire gang's kid. He was Leonard and Penny s practice baby
"Did you miss all the subtle indicators like me saying 'Howard I am upset?'"
Honestly, you can't really be surprised Sheldon ended up the way he did. His family wasn't really equipped to handle someone with his needs, they tried and did well up until George Sr's death. When George Sr died, everyone fell apart, as Georgie said "Mom was a mess and Missy was a dumb teenager"
Sheldon couldn't hope, so he ran away to Caltech and basically cut himself off from his family, Mary went even deeper into religion to cope with the death of her husband, Missy was a teenager, and Georgie had a wife, a kid, his mom and sister to take care of. It really is insane how impactful one person could be.
George was a great dad...period.
The interesting fact that no one besides Stewart was in the store to hear that argument at all or like it wasn't disturbing anyone else. That ain't the point tho the actual thing is Sheldon still has horrors of his family fighting and it comes back when people argue.
Really, Howard? Sheldon just spelled it out for you!

Howard: I don’t know. Leonard’s glasses? Sheldon’s spot on the couch?
Leonard: What about knitting that you signed Sheldon up for and didn’t even ask me about?
Raj: Yes. And who paid for the trip to the zoo last week?
(Raj did)
Sheldon: It’s a really nice tree.
Howard: So now we’re keeping score, huh? Well, who paid for the parking and bought each one of them a plush parrot?
(Howard did)
Raj: After we told them they couldn’t have a plush parrot!
Howard: Yeah, because you were too cheap to buy them a plush parrot!
1:06 dude is right.
This scene reminds of the scene from the Bbc series Merlin episode The once and future queen.
I would be lying if I said I didn't do this
I'm on the autism spectrum so loud noises bother me and if I'm supposed to be somewhere that usually brings me peace and that peace gets disrupted I'd be mad too
I'm not really going to speak too much on the parents fighting part but I will say I do understand it to a degree
So Sheldon had every right to be mad here and tbh I would've said a lot worse
Thank you for your contribution. I appreciate your incite.

I’m with Sheldon on this one. Sometimes when your parents are fighting, all you want to do is look them in the eye and tell them to shut the Hell up.
I get Mary and George had their arguments but from what I’ve seen in young sheldon they were never like that
If Vilius from Tenkai Knights saw this video, he would be laughing and feel shocked about Sheldon's outburst.
Plus, the guys would shocked to see Vilius.
The first time I ever really agreed with Howard
Do Sheldon’s recollected arguments happen on the show Young Sheldon?
No. Not as far as I know. The 7th season is very likely to end if it hasn’t already, and in mid-May of this year, there will be an hour-long special to cap it all off.
The saddest part is Sheldon remembering all the fighting word by word
Weird as this is to say...Sheldon is the only one who handled this like a man.
I’m curious, what did Sheldon’s father George want to name him if it was Mary’s decision that Sheldon was to be his name.
big fan of TBBT and YS, I like to see the references in the shows. Sheldons parents did argue a lot. I know its love there, but they shouldn't have been together like oil and vinegar.
“Spider-Man gets into a big fight and loses his girlfriend”
Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down
...So... Funny thing about 183... The "Big Fight" is a man in a giant mechanical robot wheel... It's an armored wheel with spikes and mechanical arms and guns... Yes... It's just as stupid as it sounds...
The "Loses his girlfriend" Mary Jane rejects Peter's Marriage proposal and skips town to Europe... Til '86... The issue was published in '79...
This specific issue is the "So fucking stupid ridiculous it's not even funny any more" type of comic...
Further proof that Young Sheldon and TBBT take place in completely different realities
Just like Supernatural and The Winchesters.
Give it more time. I feel we're slowly getting there
I don’t like how everyone’s laughing at Sheldon. I would have been in the crowd like: Stop it it’s not funny. I hate seeing Sheldon sad.

It’s absolutely pathetic the way Howard projects onto Leonard. He’s just belittling the guy who always had more of a chance with any woman than the three of them combined because all numbers point to him as negative %100.
This scene makes me laugh and sad at the same time
