They crash at an astonishingly high rate. I have 1500 pt6,, 1500 tpe. A lifetime of 727, DC10, 747. Get a pro who you can call a friend, safety, second opinion. I do not care what. GET THEM! FIRST FLIGHT every flight.
Another one went down on July 26th 2024 and took the lives of 3 members of the Award Winning Gospel Group "The Nelons," and 4 others. The pilot radioed in an Emergency saying he was having problems with the Auto Pilot. The plane started flying erratically. Seems to be a reoccurring problem with the PC-12.

Меня занимает вопрос, как пилоты попадают на рабочее место? Кресло назад сдвинуть некуда , отдельной двери нет а из того что показано надо быть акробатом что бы сесть на кресло пилота , и то велик шанс задеть и сломать какой ни будь прибор.
Terrible noise polluters. You can tell immediately when flies overhead
PC-12 NGX is behind the times. Its avionic doesn’t include auto -start up of the turboprop - you must monitor the ITT and make adjustments. Also, no emergency landing system that you can deplore at a push of a button - the computer will automatically land the aircraft at the nearest available airport. This may be critical where the pilot becomes incapacitated due to hypoxia. The Garmin 3000 is a more capable avionic.
If the pilot is out due to hypoxia, wouldn’t everyone also be effected? Who would activate the auto land system?

The NGX does have autostart. I've started NGX's hundreds of times and it's literally flipping the run switch and hitting the start button. EEC does the rest of the work for you. With the NG, yes it's still very much manual and you have to wait until around 13% ng until you kick fuel in, but that's pretty easy. Even with monitoring start temps, you can push the ITT a little over 800C without doing damage to your hot section. Please don't make wrong comments like this again.
Rip all of the avionics out of it and give me a radio, squawk box, compass and artificial horizon. Ill take it from there.

Not for an airplane with these capabilities. The fact that the PC-12 series (from 45 to NGX) hold their value so well makes a new plane a very practical investment for those who have the means to purchase and operate them over the course of ownership. The fact that buyers are willing to pay more for them on the preowned market means a new PC-12NGX buyer pays less for it in the long run. It also speaks to the long-term reliability, durability, safety, and economic viability of the PC-12 fleet. 😎
