Excelent video! Short and to the point! Very educational! I’m actually very surprised that over 17,000 views and only 280 likes. Most of the people posting bonsais videos don’t have a clue of what they’re doing… and yet, when you come across a good educational video people fail to see the value….I guess that’s why all the b.s video…
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm grateful for every view and like that the video receives. Your support means a lot, and I'll keep creating informative content that fellow bonsai enthusiasts like you find valuable. Your feedback encourages me to continue sharing my passion for bonsai!
Thank you so very much for the excellent points. I appreciate how you actually made the changes to fix the styling mistakes. You also were very efficient. The video is short, simple and effective. Thanks from a long-time bonsai enthusiast.
Nice tree to start with !!! Points taken as in video especially reduce number of branches. also branches are leggy. Need back budding or grafting to have gradual bifurcation and form pads. Redirecting needles up ...great point what a differece in pad "presentation".
Thank you for commenting. Yes, cranches on the inside of bends are to be removed in most cases in contrast to the ones on the outside of bends. Mid-winter isn't the best time to prune any bnrahces but I'm thinking about making another video about correcting the styling of this tree.

Very good information. We should always seek to improve, keeping our mind open to correction.

Thanks for great tips! There are a lot to work with but once it's done, I think this tree looks wonderful.
Looking forward to seeing your final results video.
It's coming soon! Thanks for watching.
Branches on the inside of trunk bends? Which removing helps reduce “too many branches” and helps pads stand out.

The tree looks natural
A branch in an inner curve left side🌳🌳
True, it might have to be removed.
You can't change their own choice 💤☝🖐🍌🐒🐣🇬🇧🇵🇭atsuuup 👍
I haven't explained in the video but I bought this tree wired like this. Sorry for the confusion...
It wasn't that bad.
You're absolutely right but I think making small corrections according to the theory might improve the overall style in the long run.
It looks like crap...because you ask....the tree is beautiful and the human got problems.
I see your point. It can be seen as very artificial and unnatural. Thanks for commenting though.
To me, it looked good either way. I like lots of moss and rocks around mine. 🪴
Fair enough! I like it too😊_
