    I made this Sunday. Oh gosh it was soooo good! I loved the tang mustard gave it. I just shredded the leftovers and heated in my homemade BBQ sauce and had pulled pork sandwiches for lunch. Double yum! Keep them coming girl. ❤️❤️

      Any idea? Want me to tell you? OIK scroll down.
      Her mom's name is " Luna " , of course. You get it......the Moon and the Stars.
      My Italian grandfather is responsible for both names.

      Please do not use BBQ sauce. It will ruin any meat.

    I tried this recipe half a year ago and let me tell y'all, I got 5 southern men "tanks" and they put this down!! I had to make 2. I always have to make double of every recipe I learn from. But you were greater than a fan when it came to direction and measurements! My husband is from California and he fell in love with my "southern accent" I didn't even realize that I had an accent till I met his family. They tell me I'm to Texas.. whatever that means lol! Love it. You go girl

    Made this tonight. It is a keeper! I cut my tenderloins in the beginning when prepping for the marinade. There was a sale at my Costco so I had picked up a few packages. Going to prep the others the same way and freeze. Thank you for the quick gravy recipe as well. It was perfect. New subscriber😊

    Wow well OK all the time this takes to get up to pressure and with the 10 min to
    naturally depressurize I only cook my 2 tenderloins for 1 Minute and that brings
    my temperature to 148 which is all pork needs to safely eat it. But I can't wait to
    try this marinade. Sounds delicious, and everyone seems to really like it. Can't wait
    to try the gravy recipe too.

    I made this on new years day, DELICIOUS. I advise to not put the extra spoon of salt, for the soy sauce will suffice. I also threw in a whole chopped onion and 3 red and green peppers. Absolutely amazing, ma'am! I will definitely try this again. I made it with country potatoes and pasta aswell.

    You read my mind! I have bought a package of tenderloins at Costco and I have been looking for a recipe to cook them. They have so little fat that it is challenging to use them. So far I have used my Sous Vide and the meat was very moist. I like my instant pot and the idea of marinading. I am wondering if 30 Minutes is too long? I am going to follow your recipe but cook it in less time. I’ll use the digital meat thermometer to make sure it’s safe to eat. I enjoy your tips and ideas!

    Is it always 30 minutes to cook pork tenderloin. I have a smaller one and wasn’t sure it would require the same time. Looks delicious. Going to try tonight

    • @michaelsalmon6436
      @michaelsalmon6436 4 роки тому

      no! And that is THE major fault of this recipe. There is no size of the pork provided. And, she gets surprised upon discovering that she marinated not 1 but 2 tenderloins! LOL!
      Because of their shape, pork tenderloins will not cook uniformly, no matter how you cook them. Best practice is to slice up pieces from the tenderloin of similar sizes, and expect that 15 minutes under high pressure will be plenty of cooking time if you enjoy your pork with a yummy pink center, as I do.
      If you fear pork, go ahead and try 30 minutes. Your pork pieces will have a more distinctive chew to them, but many prefer that, equating the texture to a "well done" level of grilling.
      Remember that the fun thing about Sandra's videos is that she does not claim to be a chef! She is experimenting, and I like that! Cooking should be fun!

    Hi, I noticed that you have an air fryer on your counter so I wondered if you have ever tried using it to brown something like chicken after you have cooked it in the instant pot? I don't have one so I don't know if that's a possibility or not. I thought maybe the skin on chicken would crisp up a little and still be moist inside from the pressure cooker.

    • @SandrasKitchen
      @SandrasKitchen  7 років тому +1

      I have never tried it so I'm not sure. It's possible I guess. The only problem that I think you might run into is if it dried out the meat. I'm sorry, I know this isn't much help with your question. Maybe you could ask your question on some of the Facebook groups specifically for air fryers. I'm sure you would get some helpful answers from them. Thanks for your comment and for watching!

    Everything looks great! Question-is there a reason why you didn’t sear the pork first? I’ve seen several others sear first. I have a 4 lb tenderloin waiting for my Foodi...so...to sear or not to sear?😂

    • @SandrasKitchen
      @SandrasKitchen  4 роки тому

      Really it just comes down to preference. I like to get it in the pot and get-er done lol

      How long did you cook your 4lb tenderloin? Was it tender?

    Looks great and will have to try. Is the soy sauce a low sodium variety? Seems like a lot of added salt.

    • @SandrasKitchen
      @SandrasKitchen  6 років тому

      You can use the low sodium variety or cut out the salt as an ingredient. Thanks for watching 🙂

    Hi Sandra. I love the designs on your white cabinets in the background of your video. Did you purchase them like that? I would like something similar. Your videos are good!!!

    • @SandrasKitchen

      Thank you!
      No I did not purchase my cabinets that way. They started out as brown cabinets and I painted them white. I put textured wallpaper on the fronts and added a light glaze to the texture to help define the pattern. Wow, that was a mouthful...lol

      I had cooked sweet baby carrots and steamed broccoli. You could fix about any side to go along with this and it would be great!

    I love the serving plate. I like my pork loin to be browned and crispy on top. I like to cook mine in my air fryer Could you not take this and stick it under the broiler for 10 minutes?

    Trying to cut on the salt here. With the soy sauce, is the extra spoon of granulated salt needed?

    The receipe is good. Tried it myself. You might try to do some editing to speed things up. Don't need to see the whole pouring of each ingredient. It's gets boring. The mustard bottle should have been turned upside down as a example. You need to know what's in the package of pork ahead of time so that the video runs smoother. Keep the recipes coming and good luck

      Hi Sandra! Thank you for your reply. My pork tenderloin loin was frozen and husband and son were away so I’m making this tonight. It’s been marinating since last night. I can’t wait to try it! Thank you! Have a wonderful day! 😀

      @@zannamu I've done this recipe by marinating overnight as well as just fixing on the spot and adding straight to the IP. It works out great either way. I thought I'd let you know in case you like the recipe and find yourself not wanting to wait for it to marinate. You have a wonderful too!

    I thought all pressure cookers had to have at least a full cup of liquid during the cooking time? Did you add some liquid before starting the cooking process?

    • @SandrasKitchen
      @SandrasKitchen  6 років тому +1

      I had one cup of water listed in the directions but not the ingredient list. Thanks for catching that for me! I've updated the recipe.
      Thank you!

    Do you think you can cook taters the same time in same pot?

    • @SandrasKitchen
      @SandrasKitchen  6 років тому +1

      Yes I believe you could however they will turn out very very soft (mushy) so if you try it I would suggest cutting the potato into large chunks. Most of my IP recipes are experiments so I just take the plunge and try it. I hope you have good success and thank you for watching/commenting!

      @@SandrasKitchen Thanks Sandra. That sounds yummy. I have some frozen Brussel Sprouts in the fridge and i have some mashed potato flakes that are not bad. Canned carrots will have to do.
      I have been marinating my pork fro 2 days now. I think I will make it for dinner.
