Awsome products are made by Marlon in Canada. All Marlon products are tested at Green Lake in British Columbia in Canada. They also make great welded aluminum boats and aluminum dock systems.
Marlon decks are amazing. I have a 2012 F-350 Crew Cab long bed diesel with a 6" lift running 37's. I have air bags as well. Piece of cake to load and unload. I take a few extra minutes to put on the cover, my sleds are 2020 - 163 and a 2021 Khaos - 155. Then the other 4 new sleds go in the Burandt trailer. They both serve their purpose. Problem is, people that have 1/2 ton trucks overload them with sled decks, their are top heavy, they don't put air bags on- then they drive like they have a one ton truck. Be safe, buy the right truck for the job. JMO
most truck owners don’t care if their truck can stop with the load or if it handles... they just care if they can get it going... 1500s shouldn’t have a sled deck. Most crew cab 1500 GMs are under 2,000lbs payload with any options. The 7’ Marlon Pro is 450lbs with ramp (WITHOUT extension), the sleds are roughly 580-600lbs with full fluids and bags and such, plus 2 x 200lb adults... that’s 2,050lbs without any gear in the truck for the trip. I run this exact deck on a 2020 GMC 2500hd... my last truck was a 2017 2500hd duramax and the payload was only just over 2,300lbs so my sled deck setup was just under the max, and that was a 2500 truck. If you need airbags to level the squat of your truck... you have too much weight. Nevermind 2,000lbs+ for a sled deck setup on a 1500 truck. They shouldn’t be promoting this. If you have a 1500 truck... buy a trailer
I’m on the edge of buying one. It’s nice to pull in an area unload and hit the trails, instead of trying to find a place to park the trailer which is the most hectic part near me. But damn it’s pricy.
Its Jan 5th 2021 and we are all closed for New England. Not enough snow. Pandemic has cut the numbers down for over nights, but to add a no snow condition to this.....uhg! There are those moments when we wish we lived a tad closer to beautiful Quebec.....
Jan 6, Quebec Premier is having a news conference this afternoon. Rumour is, total lockdown for maybe a month. Who knows if the trails will close or even open this year. If we had to have a no snow winter, I’m glad it’s this one.
@@PartikleDestroyer Ouch! Your number in Canada are still much better than the US. To many non-believers here making it worse by the day. We are at 357K deaths as of today. We will hit 500K by April if not earlier. Make my coffin a snowmobile. Burn it, then spread the ashes over a lake. That way I have my snowmobiling and boating in one burial.
That’s a wicked set up. I would need air bags or could you just go with air shocks. They would be a little easier to install but a little less durable than bags I think.
Might be too narrow but would be interesting to see most rangers have a payload of around 1500 or so. Not sure but with weight of the deck, two sleds, two guys and gear it might be sketchy
I haul my sled on a deck with a travel tarp and never notice any salt build up on sled. It sits higher and out of most spray, unless you like to tailgate big rigs.
@@wko78ms I believe all the manufacturers sell fitted tarps. I had a cat and the tarp I had was awsome. Kept it clean and didn't flap. Friends I ride with have polaris and their tarps don't fit quite as well so the have a felt liner under the tarp that protects the machine from damage.
You don’t understand paying for quality do you😂😂 Stick to your lightless buddy built thousand pound steel shitbox deck or fork up 4 grand for a really nice product. There’s a reason they’re not 1500 bucks like your steel one lmao. I bet unloading the steel ramp (if he built one for it) is a good time as well!😁

A short box truck is a nice truck for a college girl. You can fit some groceries, small dorm furniture, and a case of wine coolers.
Trump approves your comment
That’s a sick setup however for me I would rather spend the extra money for a trailer so I can use it to haul sxs and atvs.
That’s an awesome sled deck

Not enough snow in Quebec either. Hopefully February is better.

You should do a walk around of this truck now what kind of aftermarket rims are on it
Did you have to add anything to the sled deck legs for height as the new gmc/chevy boxes sit higher

Do you use a rear super clamp for your sleds?
Couple questions:
What length sleds did you load on to this deck?
Can you remove the deck for the summer or is it a big hassle?
@@kaveh1836 I keep it on all year round too. I use it as a flat bed Lol. Love it.
That red assault looks alot like the one I'm suppose to have... but still waiting...
Will this work with a 6' Ford ranger? 😃
I don't think a ranger would have a high enough payload rating.

3:09 that Polaris is looking a bit "smokie" there, just saying...
Probly still on break in
The polaris sleds always smoke more than the doos
This video is brought to you by gmc, hahaha
I just use a trailer.
Hi
Who wants road salt all over your sled?
Not me. This setup is good for areas where they use sand and not salt on the roads.

Sell these for 2500$ and I'm in. Way over priced. Had a welder build me one for 1500$. No thanks. Drop the price
