@@THE-SHOP I have 92 Dana 60 going into my 96, hopefully it’s the same but I have the entire truck that I’m taking the 60 out of, so if I need parts I should have everything I need
Nice job, I would have entertained a reverse shackle swap. I have read that it changes the ride quality considerably :-) (I'm trying to figure if I want to do a '05+ axle swap on my '94 F250 351W 5ZF 4x4 :-)
I will definitely be doing the reverse shackle swap when im ready for a little lift. I believe it adds 2” and I also heard it improves ride quality. 👍🏼
Dana 60 specialist on eBay have them. I have seen some machined out of aluminum. But I’m sure one can be made not much to it. Thanks for watching and good luck with your swap.
They will but what I have been told is it will ride rough. I would make sure the f250 springs are not sagging an excessive amount. the new F350 springs ride pretty rough also
@@212caboose yeah but there's so much little adjustment that can throw the whole thing off and there a pain to service and my trucks a diesel so idk if you could even get coil overs to hold the engine
Nice work, I appreciate the detail that you provided.
Thanks not really a how to, but how I did it with intention of helping others 👍🏼
are the breaks the same setup from the 50 rotor to the 60 rotor? i can just use my existing break assembly?
Yes you can if it’s the same year. Not sure when the calipers changed to bolt on. I used all my Dana 50 components on the Dana 60.

What exhuast do you have on that? is it a 460 or a 5.8? Sounds great!
460 with hedman headers, 3” exhaust, 40 series, Flowmaster muffler. Thanks for watching 👍🏼

Instead of sourcing that lost lower driver side uubolt plate, I'm going to try cutting and welding the f250 plate to fit around the pumpkin casting.

@@THE-SHOP thanks for that!
Will the leafs on a Dana 50 work with Dana 60?

I'd love that ttb set up on my truck lol
Yeah it could have its purpose 👍🏼
Why
@@gavincarroll2553 Set it up with coilovers, and from what I've read/heard, it's a phenomenal ride.
