Watching a top angler doing the wrong way I thought I have been doing it wrong for fifty years . I wasn’t. Thanks master!
That is probably the best tip I have seen here. Thankyou so much!
Hi brilliant tip. This is attention to detail and that is what sets the top anglers apart! Bill
Hands up for those that used to do it wrong 🖐🖐🖐 also can you do a video on the line twizzle boom please and attaching feeders to said boom. Cheers matrix
Good shout! We'll have something soon. In the meantime, we've got this one, showing how to tie a great anti-tangle helicopter rig! ua-cam.com/video/fcwRk40LtTg/v-deo.html
This is something I had been doing and knew it didn’t look right, managed to figure it out just before seeing this, nice to have it confirmed
just started fishing with my partners dad, i have no idea what i am doing and learning as we go, im so glad i have found this channel as ive learnt so much just from watching you tie knots
Welcome aboard!
Something so simple but makes such a difference, I definitely will be making sure use the correct way next time I am out.
That is the best tip I have ever seen and I thought I knew how to do that
Now I know, what I've been doing wrong. all these years.thanks for the tip. 👌
Wow something so little, can see a big difference,,im guilty too!!
Can't wait to try, and see the difference.👍
Very helpful advice, thanks! :)
Glad it was helpful!
Nice One -Thanks !
Thanks!
Great tip Jamie I’ve
Thank you for the tip!
Great tip thank you
Great video! Is it possible to remove the hook length easily afterwards?
Yes just push the two loops together
@@ifishmatrix Is it the 2 loops closest to hook?
The other problem with doing this the wrong way is that you are choking the main line and it makes the knot a lot weaker (to the hook length). The right way as Jamie shows, adds a lot of strength to the connection. I teach Climbing as well as being a fisherman and you never choke the main line if you don't have too in climbing, as your life may depend on it. Numerous youtube clips out on climbing will attest to this.DMM did one on sling connections which shows this!
I've been doing it the first way all my life lol thanks mate I've lost a lot of fish with the line snapping at the loop to loop connection!
Hopefully no more lost fish!
@@ifishmatrix I know I lost an approx 20lb carp last year was gutted lol
@@ifishmatrix I was using Guru hook lengths 9lb with 12lb main line and it snapped at the loop to loop it happened a few times so I stopped buying them thinking it was the product it may have been the connection thanks for he tip!
Great thanks but can you please tell me how to change hook length when using loop to loop. Thanks
Helpful tip, thanks. Can anybody tell me, if a want to change the hook size using this attachment method can it be undone.
I was shown this so long ago I can't even remember who showed me, yet I still see peeps doing it wrong even worse when setting up a method feeder it looks awful kicking off terribly
Is it easy to undo a loop to loop connection if you want to change your hook length?
Every thing has to be natural it isn't little its bloody critical.
Using this connection, how do you separate the loops? When you want to change hooklinks (without cutting it off).....once it's pulled really tight! (after say a few decent carp scraps) using say 0.18 mainline and 0.16 hooklink.... i can't get them apart again (without any kinks) any tips on that please?....
Gary Elmes: cannot say this works 100%of the time, but you can buy knot pickers, a really nice disgorger one end and a very sharp pointy metal bit the other, some times the point will just slip between the two loops. Well worth a try.👍
How too tack off your loop off when u stop fishing
This is so wrong, it does not matter which loop goes to which loop, it's just the way you arrange the loops before you tigh them up.

See this video, I am doing exactly like in the video (the wrong way), but before I tighten the loop, I arrange it.
@Scott Conboy , never said that you have to get the rod trough the loop, lol :))
