So inspiring! You radiate so much positivity… 😊🌈 I’m a mother of 2 children. It’s not impossible like others say. If we really want to do something we can get it done. We just need to push ourselves enough. Waking up early, meditating, working out, chores and then school begins at 7 am for kids. The day goes on. It’s all possible. You have to first believe it’s possible. 😊🌈 don’t limit yourself, please. Good luck to you, Anita! Thank you for your videos. 😊
Cant believe someone made a vdo on what i have been doing for a really long time. I thought I am the odd one but happy to know that its actually a good and recognised regime. Thankyou
Wow... Your life is so wholesome. I was never a true blue minimalist but yes 5 years ago my house had only necessary stuff and looked clean and khali khali in a good way. THEN MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN! Now my house is crammed with 50,000 toys, clothes and furniture that she can't "live" without 😏 whenever I try to get rid of anything she'll bawl her eyes out. If I try to meditate or make her join me it will last for 10 seconds maximum. I have just given up with exhaustion. My routine is crazy and I am always cranky.😭
3 hours of Sadhna, I am sure you are in an immense zone of happiness which not every can relate to. Inspiring life. We are all distracted by this devices and materialistic possessions.
I try to restrict myself from using earphones to 2-3 days while I am cycling or doing some kind of exercise early morning and try to listen to nature’s voice in rest of the days.
So here is my reaction. This is only for the affluent for whom minimalism and 5 hours of sadhana are choices. For others with hundreds of household chores and children to manage, we can't even dream of 5 hours of sadhana and we are forced to adopt minimalism due to lack of resources.
Sudha, I totally understand where you're coming from - and I would strongly urge you to try meditation anyway. When I began, I was married to a man who enjoyed brutally thrashing me, the kids and the dogs at the slightest excuse. Where I come from, one just did not mention something as shameful to parents or friends. There was no escaping, no telling, no chance of fighting back a big, angry man. Like you, I also had no time. I was the maid, the cook, the driver and unpaid employee at my husband's company. I would yearn for the day I lived for myself and could have my morning cup of tea without fear of the next explosion. Long story short - every situation you can think of to justify NOT paying attention to yourself needs to be recognised as an excuse. And you deserve to treat yourself better. So I started waking at 4 and meditating. Today, I live my dream life in the lap of glorious nature, live in bliss and peace and eternal gratitude. Opportunities miraculously come to me and I am happier than I ever imagined when I wrote my journals decades ago. The transition has been nothing short of a miracle. And I did not start from a place of faith - I was simply "trying" meditation in a desperate effort to change my life. So please make yourself, your life, your own happiness prority. Disregard doctors who tell you we need 8 hours of sleep, 5 hours will do just fine. Look at yourself in the mirror and say "You are BEAUTIFUL and I promise to do all I can to give you the life you deserve." Then set that alarm for 4am, take reign of your mind, transform your insides and make way for miracles in your world.
@@Advaya459 thank you for sharing your journey, it's inspiring. Have been trying to make excuses for not meditating everyday but somewhere your journey gives me hope that it's still possible to get out of abusive situations🤗

I started meditating about 20 years ago and I believe a centred state has eventually become my normal. It has also led me from atheism to extremely high faith in the Universe and its desire to support my highest goals. However, the more my life fills with synchronous "miracles", the less I feel inclined to share my experience. I'm probably considered enough of a woo-woo already... 😁😁 What I LOVE about you is your ability to state your stance without being preachy or explaining things. This is very much an individual journey and will unfold in different ways for each practitioner. Thank you for being so fresh, funny and lit with such infectious energy!

When well-being and fulfilment is so closely tied to sadhana, how is it not addiction? I often grapple with this. I had started meditating and a friend observed that perhaps my addictive personality had latched on to a more socially approved (and applauded) drug.
Some addictions take you up in life. While some take you down. Why is the society applauding it? Because it's good for you , right? If this is the "addiction" you have....I'd say you're on the right track ;) 💗
@@AnitaBokepalli ☺️ I'd be wary of considering something good because the society approves of it. Interestingly, there's a book by Tara Bracht called 'Radical Acceptance'. She makes a very interesting point on how our ego can creep into our supposed 'spiritual practice' as well. If one isn't vigilant, then the mind and ego can use meditation to fuel our own sense of self-importance to make us think, "Oh look! Am so important!" This observation is nothing new, of course. After all, even our myths tell us that great sages after all their boons and meditation still struggled with 'ahamkara'. That's always the last to dissolve. I feel it's good to have a mindfulness practice etc. but it's not a good idea to only feel good if one has done it and feel crappy if one skipped a day. That commitment to routine yet detachment from it seems to be a sensible thing to aim for. Of course we all have different journeys. This is my goal. But do read Radical Acceptance if you can. It answered a lot of questions for me...a big one being why do people on spiritual paths get so egoistic and brittle? I have seen several who start showing off under the pretense of being holier than thou. And if it can happen to someone else, it can happen to me.
@@firefly3479 I agree to what you are saying. I am also practicing mindfulness and meditation daily. AFAIK sadhana is meant to cultivate the awareness of the self being separate from the mind and body. Addiction is a state of being caught up in the mind's unchecked tendencies (triggered by underlying emotions, insecurities etc). So if practised with awareness, sadhana by definition cannot be a form of addiction. If the practice becomes a crutch, a compulsion, a numbing mechanism, then sure it's an addiction - but the only person who can really be the judge of that is the person who is practising, no one external.
