    Scarxlus is one of my fav athletes rn, he brings a level of creativity and uniqueness to his rounds while also being one of the strongest maltese athletes in the world

    A major problem with these events is that the athletes are extremely fatigued by the time they reach the finals from previous battles. Or they need to conserve their strength in earlier battles. We rarely see them at their best because of the format. It also looks "rushed" because of the time limit. I'm shocked that after many years, Calisthenics has stuck with this failing model.

    The score should never be able to be 2-2 imo. Why not merge power dynamics and statics together so there never would be a draw.
    Or maybe remove all categories and only have a simple points system for everything
    Idk I just feel like something is missing but I guess it's hard to have a perfect points system when freestyle and ie planche pu are completely different

      Because strength cannot be at the same level as dynamics

    • @isapan2008

      @@TC-uk7pm i think it's logical to merge statics and power dynamics into the same category because you have to train exactly the same way to achieve them.
      A planche hold is different from a planche push up just like a front lever pull up is different from a planche push up. So why are they in different categories. It's just different muscles but you have workout in the same way to get them

      @@isapan2008 I agree. In a battle, if a competitor does a Pelican, Van Gelder, Caruso and overall complex power dynamics but doesn't hold anything for 2 seconds, and someone does a bunch of planche and front lever holds, do you think they should be worth the same when it comes to the outcome of the battle? Because in that scenario, one athlete would claim power dynamics and the other would claim statics. That doesn't really sit well with me. At the end of the day, power is power and at the very least with one static category, only that is assessed

    1:49 its still a hefesto to touch pretty much cause of the supi grip just cause he isn't finishing the whole movement after doesn't mean it's a back lever pull up cause imo back lever pull up is with pronated grip and are way easier

      Agreed, he did the hardest part, the other part after is just shifting your weight over the bar. So I also think it counts as a back lever hefesto just no korean dip after which is easy

    0:41 very likely a wrong rotation on the left side. but WHAT A SAVE

      @budithebudman5273 3 дні тому

      I think that it actually was on the right side. look at the grip on the parallettes after the rotation, on the left its what you normally see being done, but on the right its a weird supi grip..
