Lovely cards. Wow, there are times when the cultural divide is a chasm. It’s seasonal but today it’s about distances too. For example, it takes 8 hours to drive from Melbourne to Adelaide, the capitol city of one state to the capitol city of the next state. It takes 41 hours to drive across Australia without breaks. That’s from Sydney in NSW, probably going through Victoria which is south of NSW, then through South Australia then Western Australia. Our entire country is only 3 states or territories wide, unless you include Canberra, which is a teeny territory set inside the much larger state of NSW. It used to amuse my husband and I, when we lived in Canberra, that we could drive for ONLY 20 minutes and be in a different state! The idea of only driving 6 hours to get through a state is a mind shift.
I think I like the distress ink bubbles. Generally I’m like you and gravitate towards bold but as bubbles are transparent, the lighter bubbles make more sense.
Girl, you need to come to Canada. A day trip is a 12 hour drive between one province and the next, like B.C. and Alberta. Don’t even get me going on trying to get across Ontario, lol.
Kelly - these are great cards, too.... more Summer fun! LOVE the bubbles - they look perfect, the way you painted them. Sounds like you had a good vacation, & it's hard to believe that school is starting soon.... summertime always just flies by! 😎
I love the coloring! Also, I agree that VA seems endless when driving from NJ to GA and back again!! VA seems endless but the sights we stopped at were so nice!
Glad you had a nice time on your vacation. I live near Houston TX and we drive to AZ to see our son over Christmas.. It takes us 12 hours to get to El Paso. And it would be another 5 hours if you started at the Louisiana state line. The speed limit is 80 mph in west TX. And you need satellite radio because there is nothing out there. Nothing period. Cards are adorable.
Love these cards. So glad somebody else still uses Stickles! Can't believe your baby is growing so fast! Will have to try the watercolor technique, like the Distress one best.
Kelly I’ve been watching your videos for about 2 months and I want to thank you for your tutorials on Copic coloring. I have been so much more confident with coloring with my markers. Thanks again!
I Love the bubbles!! (both ways) When I was a senior in HS & looking at collages we drove from NE Pa. to Atlanta Ga. to look at a school.... Va. was the state that NEVER ended!! If I remember correctly we went almost corner to corner of the state & it took about 6hrs out of a 12 hr trip!!
The softer bubbles are more realistic, however, the orange drinks really pop with the stronger, defined bubbles and blues and greens. The orange swings it for me. Only juuust! 🫧🍊🧃
Has anyone visited Alaska? Everywhere you go requires a very long drive. But you get used to it. I really like the bold bubbles card. I didn’t think that was going to be my favorite but it is
Great video.. loved watching your technique for coloring the bubbles. Also thank you for the tutorial on coloring the drink glasses. I usually struggle trying to get it to look right. You did a great job.
Oh my gosh, this bubble technique blew me away. I love this effect. Goes great with the cold drinks. Thanks for teaching us such a great technique and giving us all those helpful tips.
Kelly, I am loving these clean and simple cards with your creative style thrown in! Please make more with this watercolor technique, because it was so clever! 🤩
Wow Kelly! The cards r so fun and this video was just jam-packed with so much great technique & info! Thank you so much! Both bubble techniques look wonderful - I think I might lean more towards the brighter ones done with the Karin markers, but again, both great! I wonder if maybe something about the properties of the no-line ink made it so the Karin markers didn’t spread as much as expected when u drew over top of the ink directly? Whatever the reason, you were able to make beautiful results! I was thinking u were going to say that Caitlyn (sp?) was going to be one! When u said two- my mind was a little blown! What? Not possible! Really, but u were just pregnant with her? Indeed, the years fly by. Wow!
I like the brighter, bolder colors but both cards are very cute. Re: the markers not moving - they must be reacting somehow with the stamped ink. Have you tried stamping using the markers to ink up with stamp? I wonder if that would work any better. I don’t have any Karin markers, but the technique works with other water based markers.
I, not ready for summer to end either. So I love that you are bringing summer back. Such cute cards I don’t know your background, like did you go t9 art school/ how do you know where to add the highlights etc with the gel pen to not make it look like a hot mess?
I love watching your colouring! Thanks! A question: the watercolour card has two sides, one bumpy and the other flatter. Can you use the flatter side of watercolour for watercolouring? Would it resolve your problem of stamping?
That over-estimation of what you think you can get done in a limited amount of time is called “Optimistic Mom Time.” (Like when your cyclist husband is twenty miles from home and thinks he can make it back in 40 minutes…..🦗🦗 chirp..chirp…That’s Optimistic Dude Time…like Dude, you are fast, but not 30 mph fast.)😁
Lol. Does Virginia ever end. We just drove from Virginia to Idaho. And let me tell you, you think Virginia is a long drive? Drive through Nebraska. Oh, my heavens.
Those cards are fun! Those bubbles backgrounds would be great with a rubber ducky for a new Baby card! 😄
Lovely cards.

Love the yellow card 🤩 the bubbles and color/ shading are perfect!
I love the coloring! Also, I agree that VA seems endless when driving from NJ to GA and back again!! VA seems endless but the sights we stopped at were so nice!
Great cards! Glad you had a good time and made it back home safe and sound❤️

Love these cards! So "summery" and cute. The bubbles made such a fun background.

You have obviously never driven through the state of Texas! These are great cards, I love the bubbles! So cute!
I adore these cards! The colors are great. I must have the bubbles and the drinks stamps! What fun!! Thanks!
I've not been through Virginia, but Texas is one of those never ending states as well.
I am from West Virginia, about 20 miles from Winchester Va! You drove right past me!
I love both watercolor bubble techniques.
I like the bold bubbles the best!

Beautiful cards... I love them both. They're so fun and summery!
Terrific cards. I like the softer bubbles but really, they both are well done. ❤
WOW amazing cards love the bubble background ❤

Great cards! TFS your talent (and stories) 🙂with us!
So pretty. Love all the details, and the bubbles 💖
Has anyone visited Alaska? Everywhere you go requires a very long drive. But you get used to it. I really like the bold bubbles card. I didn’t think that was going to be my favorite but it is
Lots of beautiful coloring!!
Great bubbles, love them both. Thanks Kelly.
Loving the card. Thank you for sharing it with us. 😊
Like the bubbles. Prefer the bold ones even if they take more time. Driving thru Florida takes a long time too! Thankfully lots to see.
Like the bolder colors
Loved seeing how you got the mirror image. I’ll have to try that. Awesome cards! What a great stamp set. Amen to not giving up summer. Lol
Great video.. loved watching your technique for coloring the bubbles. Also thank you for the tutorial on coloring the drink glasses. I usually struggle trying to get it to look right. You did a great job.
I live in California. Don’t ever think about driving from the top to the bottom in one day bc you will die 😂😂😂
You just keep amazing me. These are so striking.
Oh my gosh, this bubble technique blew me away. I love this effect. Goes great with the cold drinks. Thanks for teaching us such a great technique and giving us all those helpful tips.
Love the cards. You did a great job!
Love your coloring 😍
I like the softer colored bubbles, but the bold one’s really go well with the orange drinks. Such fun cards!
Kelly, I am loving these clean and simple cards with your creative style thrown in! Please make more with this watercolor technique, because it was so clever! 🤩
Love the cards!!!
😊❤😂🎉 both backgrounds are cool
You are so talented!
Don’t ever come to Texas if you think Virginia is big! You can drive for days and still be in Texas!😂😂
Yessss! Living in little NJ I was shocked and awestruck of the endless, but pretty looong roads in Texas! ❤
CO is the same. Drive for 3 hours…you’re still in CO. ❤😊

Very pretty!
Both are nice, but I really like the bold better.
Don't come to Montana either!! Love these cards and your channel.
Love these!!
Awesome

Absolutely gorgeous! Everything looks so realistic…wow! Another informative video! Thank you for sharing!

Lol VA...try Texas...took us 3 days to cross that state...

Kansas is by far worse than Nebraska 🤣
@@kj9652 for real! Those big states are long drives 😆
Why not use your stamp wheel mat insert for the mirror image? It’s made of actual stamp material, isn’t it?
Where do I get the stamps?😊
