I’m doing the same with my CH lancer which has pretty much an identical interior…I put sound deadening throughout…bloody mongrol job that took a few days…sore back, and pain in the neck but well worth it in the end. Respect!
@@jxntribe I tried to order some replacements from amayama but was told mitsu discontinued them all. (Apart from the carpet and trunk floor board). Such a shame because everyone’s seems to be destroyed. I had some good luck with ‘flex tape’ behind some of the cracking to hold it together.
Nice job man. Have you ever tried using an ozone generator to remove the smells? Any issues with the headliner fabric peeling after using the spot cleaner?

I really should have done sound deadening while I was there ... guess it's coming out again haha
you have to remove center shifter console also and put the head liner out by the front left door.Its dont have any damage
$6.90 . 69.. sus. Also, if the smell is still there you could try that Meguiar's Air Re-fresher it's like a bug bomb for deoderising.
I tried one of these but surprisingly it barely lasted a week. So far so good though!
everyones trunk pieces are destroyed. They made them with horrible material and they get brittle and crack. No worries!

Haven’t seen these before, definitely an option for the future - so far no problems!
