Such a beautiful movie. Even King David made mistakes but our God is long suffering and forgave David. Jesus will never forsake us. I watched this movie before and its a blessing. Praise the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob amen

Same here, mine started march 2020 after buying a plot of land for a project, since then till today I have not been able to see myself through this heavy storm. But one thing I believe is that God is in control of my life because I've had countless attacks and accident that could lead me to death but I'm still alive. Do you know that David had the same power as Samson. They both killed a lion with their bare hands. Check that out and understand that David didn’t delay to kill the giant (Philistine) but Samson did. Samsun fell in love with Delilah a philistine and Samson couldn’t destroy the Philistines because of his love for Delilah and disobedience to God and his mother (parents). You must honour your parents and fear God so your days maybe long upon the earth. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

This movie takes a few liberties with the actual story, but still great. 1,2 Samuel and 1,2 Kings are some of my favorite books in the Bible.

The story of King David is one of my favorites! For the sake of truth, I must say not everything shown in this movie is accurate. Not all bible movies are actually.
For example, this movie shows Jonathan with King Saul talking to the witch, but according to the bible (1 Samuel 28:8), two men went with King Saul to go see the witch. The bible does not say anything about Jonathan being there and talking to the witch. Another thing is, Saul bowed with his face to the ground once he perceived Samuel, but the movie did not follow this.
Please make sure to compare all bible movies to the actual scriptures to know what is truth and what isn't. God bless! :D

Samuel and King Saul had a real, dangerous and serious power issue. Saul’s ego is disturbing and he had split personalities (i.e. both good and evil inside of him). Eventually, the evil spirit took him over to his demise. We must resist evil and evil will flee from us. Resist the devil with what God said (i.e. you must “do” or “don’t do” something). The power in us must be good and not evil. We must cultivate and practice good.

There were still consequences of King David's sin of sleeping with Bathsheba. He also committed murder against her husband. Adultery brings demons of lust. And usually with the demons of Adultery, comes the demons of murder. David also got cursed by God. And God took his babies life, that he had with Bathsheba. And David lost the respect of everyone. And he became a bad example for his son, who lusted after the daughter. This Adultery and
Murder always have consequences.
“I did not come for the righteous, but sinners for repentance..” not condoning sin, but it’s important to note that ultimately David repented from the damage he did and
G/d forgave him:
The story of David and his sins is revelation, for us, of how all of us have fallen short of Grace and how, in different ways, I don’t know one who can’t relate to him, self-will run riot and sin manifesting death and destruction, especially within the family unit… especially now, at a time when most families are torn apart by rebelliousness and sin; spiritual maturity is the ability to look within our own rebellious nature and past, or current, sins and ask ourselves, do we see ourselves in his sin ? Are we judging another when our own home is torn apart ?

Only after the 2nd Coming and the establishment of His Kingdom, will there be peace *Shalom, ‘Peace’, is the fulfillment of the Will of G/d, the establishment of His Kingdom;
Until then, every man-made treaty…… alliance….. is in vein; but, beware……. from the outcome of the birth pains, the illusion of hope will be brought to the hopeless world is something the Antichrist will use as an opportunity at the beginning of ‘The Great Tribulation’ period when the Goat (Yavon, known as Grecia in Daniel 8-11, the region of Europe which is the Antichrist kingdom) “supernaturally slays the Ram” (the Islamic Iranian Empire) giving false hope to the masses which most will buy into because they cannot discern between the truth and a lie;
…..but, those who are prophetically literate understand how the enemy will deceptively work and we will stand against it; submit to G/d and leave the consequences, to Him ……. ; )

Thank goodness God reads our hearts. We can have good intentions of following Gods laws but we have a sin nature that at times gets in the way of our following what we know is right with the Lord. Thank you lord for forgiveness of our sinful ways.
I love Bible movie.King David, the King of Israel after King Soul.
Saul rejected God and also disobeyed God’s words. Jonathan understood the Spirit of God and knew he would not be king but David. Jonathan stood correct in obedience to God’s words. Jonathan loved his father and in one battle that they should not go in, Jonathon died with his father King Saul on the high places (Gath, Askelon).

Saul’s jealousy knew no bounds. He told David to go get (killed) 100 Philistines as a gift to the King for his daughter. David got 200. Saul hated David as he watched David become king in his stead (as he ruled). Jonathan watched too, as David became King of Israel instead of him. Jonathan has a different spirit than his father. Jonathan had a different heart (mind set). It is God who choose kings and the best person for kingship (the job). Obedience !!!
