Hi! New to your channel and Im really enjoying all the dairy content. I got my first cow 6 months ago. Would you mind sharing what and how much you feed your cow in terms of grain/alfalfa pellets and what’s growing in your pasture? I’d love for my cows to produce more milk! You get 3 gallons in one milking, that’s amazing.

Thanks for the video idea, I will definitely work on making one. My cow came from a commercial dairy, so I think her production has more to do with her genetics than what we feed her. It's actually a complication for us because she produces so much she requires a lot more feed than we would like to have to buy. But her condition will deteriorate when she is making so much milk very quickly. It's like walking a tight wire, keeping her healthy.
