- Doris Wagner shares her personal story of abuse at the Voices of Faith event 'Overcoming Silence - Women's Voices in the Abuse Crisis'. Doris was born in 1983 in Germany. In 2003, aged 19, she joined The Spiritual Family The Work, that has close ties to high ranking members of the Roman Curia and had got pontifical recognition in 2001. As a young religious sister in that community she suffered various kinds of abuse, including mental control, spiritual manipulation, exploitation and sexual aggression. Hear her story here.
I am so glad you stood up.Your testimony is just mind blowing what kind of abuse of power, exploitation and manipulation game went on. Not to allow to read , not to communicate with others about personal matters ,to always smile when you feel like crying is totally controlling and mean. When I was a young girl I wanted to become a nun, however, after several weeks I decided not to do so, I did not have a good gut feeling...we can be dedicated Christians wherever almighty God has put us. Life is never easy, however, God is always good and will not forsake us. Thank you so very much for speaking up " meine liebe Glaubensschwester." :)
Doris watching and listening to your talk moved me inspiring me to continue in what I do for SNAP in Australia. All strength to you and the other women who are speaking out. Never give up, your voice will be heard worldwide.
Thank you for speaking up! What you do is very important, this is very urgent. We need to remove these priests and put them in jail.
Thank you so much Doris. I hope my research will help move things along. This so needs to be exposed as do other parallel abuses of adult women, adult men, seminarians, religious, priests, nuns. My current research may flop if victims/survivors do not come forward. So, hopefully, your going public will inspire others to speak out. You are right there are so, so many others who have experienced this form of clergy abuse.

She mentioned that the church is like a monarchy. This is one of the ways they have deviated from the Orthodox churches, which are more republican. They were all established as equals, and only because the capital of the empire was in Rome, the Roman church acted as referee in disputes between the churches. The Orthodox churches believe that if a member from a thousand years ago was to travel in time to the present, or someone from the present was able to go back a thousand years, they would be able to go into church and be subject to the same doctrines and procedures, on the principle that God is unchanging. But the Roman church keeps adding things to hold onto their power. Each church should have their own domain, but the Roman church tries poaching on the others' territories. Why do they try and set up a church in Ethiopia when they always had their own Pope/Patriarch? Power! Why are they in Latin America or China or elsewhere, when each of those areas should have their own patriarch? Any organisation that promises power and/or wealth soon gets taken over by opportunists. Instead of making the organisation's aims their highest priority, they make satisfying their ego the highest. It naturally follows that this must have happened in the early days of the church. Just read between the lines of Paul's writings and you will see that he had to deal with rivals. The Roman church, by being more interested in secular power, has driven the Holy Spirit from its heirarchy.
Gorgeous!! Makes me so angry that they just keep ignoring the abuses and there is no immediate punishment and torture to the priests who break and violate someone else's boundaries! This is another good reason for the Roman Church to accept the natural order God has given in marriage for men and women (for not all are able to be eunuchs), to overcome burning passions.
Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared, who forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4.1-5

Forget religions, once and for all.
Millions have been harmed and killed in the name of some religion.....I'm an atheist after many years as a Catholic. But there are times I wish that hell were real. There is nothing worse than a hypocritical "man (or woman) of God".

Any man made structure whether it be a club, institution or government need the voice of it's people to be heard. In like manner any religion that suppresses this voicing is in the same boat that dictators & thugs love to congregate on. Doris Wagner is a modern day Joan of Ark who is trying to eradicate this rotten evil that has been permeating the catholic & other religions for eon's. Jesus main opponents when He was on earth were the religious elite, the power wielders, it was these powerful one's who finally had Him tortured & crucified. As Solomon once said "there's nothing new under the sun" Yes history does repeat. The problem is, the Catholic's & others have re-visioned Jesus view of the priesthood. Making priest, pastor, bishops into little gods, this has been & will be the down fall of Christianity. Teachings that have enforced the idol worship of the above elite men are anti God & anti Christ.

As a former nun,I have similar stories to narrate.No nunhood,no priesthood...
She says she slept with a priest without being forced while she was an adult nun and she kept it secret. She denounced it years later when it was fashionable to do so, now she has a book. She claims in this video that another priest propositioned her during confession. He denies it but he had to resign after this video was made. She is now married to an another ex priest also from Das Werk and has a child with him. Can you see a pattern? Accountability is kryptonite to women.
Why are people so gullible in believing these claims that women have no agency?
