I went to pick up my 5 year old. No kid found. I called everywhere, panic rising with each call. They found her asleep on the bus in the bus parking lot. That driver had to be reassigned because there is no way he would be allowed to drive my child again.

Reassigning a school bus driver to another route after leaving any child on the bus asleep in a yard is not policy OR procedure it's actually grounds for termination according to they're own guidelines because of the risk involved to your child and also because it mean's he didn't walk his bus and do checks at the end of his route. As far as this story goes these regular occurring incidents of abuse by staff members with school age children and kids in daycare centers also being victimized is I believe intentional; these are not little minor mistakes this is in fact gross negligence.

@@customcalendars4u2 I tend to agree. But the only thing I could demand was that he not drive my child again.

Imagine the fear the children felt. Glad it turned out okay but it should not have happened.

There needs to be a significant FEDERAL investigation into these events. It seems to have become a systematic regularity as of late. This is extremely dangerous.

This is what you get when you hire mom and pops to drive a school bus for next to no money. We all know this is the problem.

Thank you, firefighter. Who watched over the kids. "It takes a village to raise a child". Democrats say. And a villager stepped up today.
