What's that awesome sounding groove that starts on the hi-hat at 1:52 ? Not heard anything like that before...it's really cool! Fantastic playing overall...it's really dynamic and punchy (the mix helps with that too!) and you look like you're having a great time. Also, that looks like a Mapex Armory kit? Which is a pretty affordable drum kit. And those Meinls are a lot more affordable than the Byzance line. Just goes to show you don't need the most expensive kit to sound great, just some great playing.
So I have a weird compliment to pay here... The drumming, without doubt, is nothing short of superb. That said, this track has some of the most pleasing midrange of any piece of music I've ever heard. I mean in general too. Just a nice mid heavy mix, but some how very balanced and most importantly very pleasing. Good job ladies and G's. Also, I'd like to nominate this snare as my write in for the 2024 U.S presidential elections. That is all. Cheers from Memphis.
