Would I be able to buy a set of standard model "S.T.A.R.S." logo grip medallions for the WE model already clear coated so the gold doesn't fade or rub off?
hey do you know where I can get a pair of these today? I've sent emails to DS and CDW and I'm not getting any replies unfortunately. amazing guns btw they look so good
Hey, I was curious if you knew about any grips for a 92 GTS. I recently bought one and was looking to buy a pair similar to yours. CDW doesn’t offer grips for that model, and DS grips does but wants to use richlite instead of wood because of durability reasons. I messaged him back to see if I could do wood instead, but I’m not sure if he even uses wood anymore based on his website. I was just curious if you knew anything as of recent.
@@bradenwhittemore3182 I’ve been out of touch with the latest 92 models. I’ll have to look it up. But I would have recommended DS to make a custom grip for you. Hopefully he’ll respond.
@@Leonhart306 I talked to him and he only does the Richlite material. He made me a pair around 2-3 years ago, but he no longer uses wood at all. If you know anyone else who does custom orders, I’d happily pay top dollar to them
the easiest way if you're in the US is to find or order a whole 92fs brigadier pistol. from what I've heard the california model is supposed to be visually more accurate but idk the difference. I'm going to get one but i live in california where it can cost anywhere from 800-1000+, gonna have to pay half on the deposit and half on the pickup lol
What kind of finish did you get on the lower for Wesker's model and from where? Also, do you know if there's a way to get the extended beaver tail for the lower in order to get it to look closer to Wesker's?
The finish I went with is Nickote from CCR Refinishing. However, in person it has a brownish tint to it like it's tarnished. I would go with an aluminum cerakote instead. As for the beavertail, you'll have to fashion one from scratch. I would recommend doing a dovetail. Cut off the current beavertail and cut in a dovetail groove then custom fashion the extended beavertail in its place. Then shape it accordingly and use a set screw to keep it in place. I'd also weld and blend the beavertail to the frame so it looks one with the frame. I haven't done this process as I have other priorities going on at the moment.
@@Leonhart306 Nice, and thanks for the quick reply! Once I get my Beretta I'll make up my mind on what to do. I might end up just dong my own version based on inspiration from all the other models.

Does anybody know what type of wood is on Rebecca Chamber's grips on her Samurai Edge? I know she has a all blue medallion on her grip, but I just need to know what type of wood for my EDC Beretta 92FS.
CDW made better ones. The newer ones are more durable. Not to say the ones I have aren't but he says the bottoms of the grip can break easily if the pistol was dropped on the panel connectors.
The Wesker Model Beretta you have is awesome.
When did CDW start selling the inserts separately? Thanks! Great review!
Harrison Carmody just ask him. He’ll do it.
Do you have any experience with the "indigo" dymalux grips? I've seen only 3 examples and each one looks completely different.
I haven't. Sorry.

Update on how the CDW scales have held up after the years of ownership and use?
They've held up really well. Still the best SE grips on the market to date.
Whats sup with DSgrips? Im having a hard time contacting them for grips.
Contact CDW if you're looking for Samurai Edge grips.
@@Leonhart306 all their nice ones says sold out....
If he doesn't respond within a week or 2 these days, reach out to him again, he usually responds the second time pretty on point.

Walnut is the traditional wood for all SE’s.
How long did it take for the guy to reply back to you? The guy behind DS grips?
Still waiting...
If he doesn't reach out to you within a week or 2 these days, just email him again and he usually gets back to you quite quickly.
which one do you pick if you have a compact?
DS Grips would be the best route as CDW only makes them for full-size models.
Can I buy one of the grips off you becaaue I been trying for ever to get some
Which grips?
I am very curious, how easy is it to swap the inserts on the CDW grips? Thanks!
Very easy.

So if you bring the cdw grips to the range do they just break? And are the grips made out of real wood?
