Ford guy myself, mopar second and will always have a place in my heart. Loving this competition as well. I’m excited for the interior since ram has been the leading edge for years. It’s possible ram might still have the edge unless Ford literally thought of every detail for this upgrade

Have anyone noticed that GM has been nowhere in sight when it comes to this segment of vehicles. There's a possibility that a supercharged 7.3L could be in the Raptor or the 5.2L predator.
More likely the Predator. It's got the Mustang pedigree behind it. I would prefer the 7.3 be supercharged, myself. Those things are a lot cheaper to make and they have such incredible potential.

Everyone seems to think and agree its gona be the 5.2 BUT the one new upcoming engine nobody is talking about is the new windsor 6.8 v8 baby zilla for the new '22 stang and f150 ... the 5.2 doesnt make enough low end truck torque imo.

It's still a poser. FCA was never able to finish the Baja 1000 with it like Ford did when the Gen 2 first released. It's a hella of a truck for 1/4 mile runs and that is about it...I think they should have made the TRX the next Viper truck and just went street with it...

Go look at when the Gen 2 released before it ever hit the dealership they took it to Baja and barely finished in a stock truck. And last time I checked they havent released a Raptor Bronco yet...who cares if the Bronco didn’t finish it’s a Rubicon trail rig not a Baja truck. Anyways my point you built a truck for a race you never attempted. Hmmmm

The Bronco is boxy and ugly. It should have stayed dead.
If it doesn’t have a v8, it’s pointless
it def does have the 5.2sc due to that the raptor now has a totally different frame than anything else. So it was said at the last Ford dealer meeting that they were having a hard time building enough of the gt500 motors to keep up with demand and it will only get harder after March.
I6 is better, they just don’t make them anymore.

I think it's a good idea for Ford to have the 3.5 HO Ecoboost as an option. There's nothing wrong with it unless you're EXTREMELY traditional. That being said, the V8 is a bit of a must, and I wouldn't mind seeing Ford offer a (yet unseen but easily done) high output variant of the 7.3 and then maybe the Predator. IF Dodge wants to have a compensation contest that no one asked for or needs, Ford may as well show them how to do it.
For typically has the most advanced highest output per cubic inch engines. Love my 2020 GT

As soon as they do this raptor with 760hp ram is gonna do a TRX redeye 797hp and if ford finds a way to top that they will do the super stock with 804hp or just do the full on demon motor with 840hp

I like the tail lights of the new Raptor and the F-150 in general, they took inspiration from the 2014 1st gen model Raptor, which was such badass truck as well. The front also looks menacing and overall it looks absolutely incredible! Cant wait to see the full reveal tomorrow! Definitely exited for the third gen!

Ford came out a bit ago and said they were going to put a 6.8L in F150 and Mustangs so they might put it in specialty vehicles.

Man I can’t wait I like that Ford is now advertising like this and responding back to ram in a competitive badass way , and I’m so glad that they kept the square led halo rings amber orange because if they made them white led they wouldn’t stand out as much because the lights are already white led’s and having them be orange ish amber brings balance to it and makes it look badass 👏👌🔥

BOOM! bye bye Hellkitten and Trex and you can't rule out the 770HP Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport

I'm a Ford guy, but I'm glad that Ram came out with the TRX, I feel like that effectively pushed Ford in putting the predator in the Raptor, another example of competition being good for everyone.
Only some Raptors just to save face. It will still mostly be a V6 truck.

I'd still pick the Ram TRX over the Raptor. It's a better looking truck with a way better interior. Raptor probably won't deliver on the engine. But we will see!

It would be awesome if Ford threw everyone a curveball and instead of offering the 5.2 liter supercharged V8 from the GT500 they put a high performance version of the upcoming 6.8 liter engine that’s going to be produced at the Windsor engine plant that was said to be going into derivatives of the F-150 and Mustang.
