The best comment. So true..the real family
Love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 🇱🇰🇱🇰
As a young man, you are very lucky to have these elders in your life. These connections across ages will give u so many memories to share with your family
Your grandmother can whip up home-made pasta before I get mine out of the pantry and open the box!! 😂. They are precious. Covet your time with them.
😂
Ha, ha! You, & me both! ;)
Ciao, bellissimo i tuoi video sui tuoi nonni! Stai testimoniando un mondo che sparirà..e soprattutto l'amore dei tuoi nonni per te e viceversa!! Bravo. (Scusa perché a casa dei tuoi nonni ci sono poche finestre?)
😅😅😅😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thank you Julian for making these vides. I love my grandparents too and I find myself calling them quite often after watching your videos to check on them. I try to see them every week and your nonno and nonna are very similar to them, very close aged too. Their generation knows so many things about cooking, crafting, gardening, natural elements, we can only cherish them and learn from them and try to pass along some of their life. Thank you
The best comment my friend !!! Good night from Cyprus !!!
Thank you for sharing your grandparents with the world.
When I was young, my grandfather would come and wake us early. He'd have a pot of pasta fazool and say (in his best broken English) "time to get up! Pasta Fazool!" We'd frown and then He'd frown like we'd hurt his feelings. That look always got us up for some pasta fazool. Thank you for bringing back the memories. ❤
Well, I just love them both. Truly! Keep the videos coming, J!!!!!
Thank you, Julian, for this wonderful video of Nonno and Nonna and her pasta fa zool. Love them!
Your nonno and nonna remind me of my own Sicilian parents, im Australian born ......they made their own olives scaciati, prosciutto, sausages, tomato sauce and wine etc. Etc. Thanks Julian for all the wonderful videos,
Sending much love to you all from Melbourne Australia ❤❤
Even tho your Australian Born u Still R Sicillian ..Im Both Sicillian & northern Italian.,
@@cobycuzzocrea9142 100% Italian/Sicilian/Aussie lol
and even speak Italian fluently 😁
Graetest Nonna and Nonno on Earth. We love you soo much.❤❤❤❤❤
That pasta tool with the strings is so cool!
Despite the tech advances of present time the functionality and simplicity of these old fashioned tools is so commendable - handmade and unique!
I miss home made Italian food. 💔
It really is the best. And it's so wonderful that you're sharing these beautiful dishes with everyone.
Nonna & Nono are wonderful people. ❤
Absolutely, my dear mom and aunt used to cook like this. It was incredible!
I wish there was a LOVE button to hit. Would love to spend a day with this family. That would be so awesome!
Mom had that exact can opener since I was 7 in 1973. She still had the same one when she passed in 2021...miss you mom. 2 things from this. 1- never throw out something that still works...2 - they don't make anything like they use to.
Just want to say that I don’t know why, watching Nonno and Nonna just in their regular living, the talking, the cooking, the making and helping… it brings actual tears to my eyes. I think it’s joy! I’m pretty sure! But what a beautiful family. So many lessons and most importantly the lessons all come from a basis on love. Your family is a blessing.
Such lovely adorable grand parents !! I could just go hug them !! Te Amo Nonno and Nonna

She does do artwork every single day! 😋
OMG!!! I just LOVE these video's of Nonna and Nonno. Please never stop making them, Julian. And just to add in. That little Maxwell is sooo darn CUTE ❤❤
Watching this is like coming home to my grandparents wearing bleached jeans in the 60s. 🤣🤣🤣 Grandparents and jeans are long gone, but I miss them both. And my grandmothers cooking of course, even she was not Italian.
I am 35 you can only imagine my grandfather's reaction to when I became a street punk lol dressing like those punks did in the 80's he near damn had a heart attack lol telling me what happened to me🤣🤣🤣
My grandma wasn't around because she passed away in 1999 but keep in mind my grandfather was born 1925 grandmother born 1927 so you figure out the hige array of fashion gaps they witnessed over the years then comes their grandchild in the future with her questionable choices..
I no longer dress that way and moved onto the black metal extreme metal sides since age 18 so since then its been spandex pants, denim jeansl band shirts, leather jaclet, long black hair and my make up with plently of dark eye, iner that is my personal girly choice though..
@@mercedesvelasquez8781 I can imagine, I'm a grandmother myself by now. 🤣🤣🤣
what a sweet channel. Reminds me of my dear Nana. Never had food like hers again. This brings back memories. Bless you all.
Nonna has those experienced cooking hands both nonno and nonna are so artistic in what they do best🙌
You and your grandparents are just so awesome. You can tell how much you guys love each other and your grandma just wants to cook for everybody. Thank you again for sharing.
I sit back with My cup of joe and watch as if this is a show on tv...hmmmm🤔 yea I can see this on cable tv. Wednesday nites at 8pm
My beloved dad was so upset when I bought home a pair of jeans with a rip at the knees. That was 5 decades ago. He came from Eastern Europe and was very poor. He said only poor people in his home town wore torn clothing. He forbid me from wearing it.
That's absolutely correct.
❤❤😂
In the 90s I was ripping my own jeans and my nephew asked to have his ripped. Another cool look is to take a paisley bandana and sew it on the inside of the holes. Very 60s like. Yeah I was around then too. 😅
Yes, thirty years ago my father said that he would never understand why we wanted to look "like a bag of old clothes"😂 he never let me wear ripped jeans. He sprayed my jeans with spray starch, then ironed them, with a crease down the middle. Best dad ever 🥰
It's amazing that you cook for your family every day. How lucky are they? 💞 Thanks for sharing 💐💐
All of you are blessed to have each other! There are families that don’t speak to one another for years much less interact like yours does! Thanks so much Julian and Vanessa for sharing your beautiful family and especially your darling grandparents!
Julian, I lost my Nonno and Nonna a while ago and find so many comforting similarities when I watch them in your videos. Thank you ❤🙏
Thank you you all making me smile and remember my times with my Baka {nonna} teaching me her skills and my dad who your nonno reminds me so much - we are blessed knowing people like that and omg the life lessons that were passed on by their stories - I still forward them on and I’m 60!
Love the family closeness ❤️🙏🏿
Love you all. Amazing family !😂😂😂❤❤❤
Nonna made pasta like it was nothing!!! Chefs struggle with making good homemade pasta! Incredible!! That wine and peaches also looks amazing

I love y'all so much I look forward to your videos. I miss my grandparents and these videos kinda fill that void.
The best people! Love watching you all.
Just love watching your family. It brings back many memories of my Italian family and how everything centered around the downstairs kitchen. My grandparents were from Abruzzo then it was changed to Molise in about 1955. Thank you for keeping the traditions especially the homemade vino.
Thanks Julian,
What a great meal. Your grandparents are so sweet and kind. Blessings
Julian, I just love your videos with Nonno and Nonna! It’s great that you do this.
Thank you! Glad you enjoy them!
Learnt this dish from a friends of the family many years ago, a colleague to my father, and have loved it ever since. His locally variation was served with a good glug of olive oil and chili powder over the top!
I lived in upstate NY for 20 yrs. I miss a good meal of pasta ‘fazool’. I was drooling watching this.
I still have the same old school can opener😂
Me too!!! Works every time 😂😂 ❤❤❤
They still sell em, so they aren't old school. :) They are just a manual one is all.
Love this time with your grandparents. Lost my grandmother in 2017 at 95 years old. I spent hours and hours at her place cooking and eating(we are also Italian) your nonnies recipes are so similar to

It looks amazing! Thank you for sharing♥
Such a precious family.
My great grandfather was Polish German and spoke fluent Polish… made his own bacon, beer, wine and many other things ❤
Thank you so much you seem to be wonderful people
My stepdad was Italian and I felt so special with his family and the food was amazing I remember eating this food and another good comfort food was manest I’m not sure how to spell it but it had greens in it ❤❤❤
What a treat it is to watch this lovely family ❤❤
This has tickled a memory that won't completely surface. I remember garbanzo beans, and then there was an amazing soup my father joyfully made except that instead of meatballs he used simmered scraps of ham and ham bones. I think that is what he called pasta fazool. None of these family members have been with us for so many decades. Thank you for helping me try to remember.
Brother, you are indeed a blessed man! Savor every bite! My Abuelita was old school and forbade me from being in her kitchen, trying to learn her recipes. She said that was not a man's job. I saw your title and then gasped when I saw that she was making the pasta by scratch! I love her! Amazing grandparents you have!
Such great grandparents
I love pasta fazool❤❤❤
My 89 year old grandmother is showing me recipes right now, she doesn't have long I'm trying to learn 50 recipes in a few years, and she shakes so bad she can't physically show me, I love her so much she's my best friend and I want to share her love through her recipes, love seeing your grandparents together, makes me so happy.
Love pasta fagioli. Can you have too much pasta 😊 Looks amazing I can smell it.
Wonderful family ❤. God bless you all.
I had to watch a few times that’s how enjoyable this was. Wow! ❤
Hi Nonna, Nonno and Julian, a beautiful, filling meals, I just had lunch and I am full, but while watching this video I could certainly have more food, everything looks delicious. Love Katherine xoxo
Remember that what nonno and nonna say it is true it is the same like here on lake como where my parents lived for 20 years in england and did the same things and now at 93 and 92 years old do the same things as your grand parents.. keep them at heart and always treasure them ❤❤❤❤❤
Every food video at this household always makes me drool ❤
Looks so good
I was a little boy helping my nonna, make fresh pasta right in the middle of the kitchen table, I really appreciate my Italian heritage.
Seriously love them ❤❤❤
I absolutely love your videos. Growing up, we lived with my grandparents in my Nonno was a master chef. He cooked all of the holiday meals for us.. my Mother’s family also used the term pasta fazool . She came from Guarinos. I recently visited the town and fell in love with it. I wondered if either one of your grandparents came from that area as well. Keep up the good work.. I also watch Vanessa. She is so talented.
Love the " FORGET ABOUT IT"!!!!! LOVE IT
