I wouldn't take that so seriously. They have been the most weirdos gang in history.

Yall need a studio. It is rare to find people with differing political backgrounds confront issues they have head on and in good faith. Maybe a little too much good faith, but y'all are all smart individuals. Yall should invite an avowed neoliberal on the podcast next ;)

I dont know where Pills got that interpretation of post-leftism in the anglosphere cause that's definitely not it.
Its largely an anarchist oriented tendency that challenges some of the traditonal notions of leftism and far closer to the description Diego gave though it does seem different.
Anyways you should talk more about the ideas of Dr. Kaczynski

Diego's Line of flight is lucrative yet, primarily an idea, an understanding. A perspective of Diego meeting Kant halfway. I'd love to be born as a precious stone, but I'm not. How do we make cogito shut-t-eff up? Diego just performed it. Absolutely love you guys though.

Pretty sure Diego tugs it to an audiobook version of 1984.

    This turned Nietzschean fast.

Another different reading of Nietzsche, a rather Nazi-ean I'd say. Nietzsche left the gap too general, too wide. Kant formalizes the political implications of his thoughts, Nietzsche always sucked at it. One is HR and the other, a romantic. Diego is convincing in his political reading of Nietzsche. A reading nevertheless.

@MrityunjayAwasthy Yeah, Nietzsche is strange. Generally enjoy his insights on some stuff, while others had me going yikes, especially if taken at face value. It's why I've always liked where Camus and Deleuze and others of a similar bent took their reading of him.

I will say something in Diego's defense, at least of his vibe. I'm Latin American too, and when you experience the material conditions of the 3rd world, and just how corrupt things can get, and politicians like Orangy are not a fluke but your average example of a conservative, a leftist caudillo seems not only outright utopian, but necessary.

@@osoisko1933 I've always found great literature in Nietzsche- an extraordinary absurdist who can shift from seriously engaging with Spinoza to moments where you're left thinking, 'Did he really just say that?' Yet, he constantly finds himself entangled in philosophical debates of one kind or another. I'm not sure how much political currency even the greatest piece of literature can hold. I agree with Diego about the need for a material understanding of history to pave the way forward but as soon as he starts to emulate Chinese model, my Tube starts to buffer. lol.
