Phil and Kirsty were amazing how they put in the extra effort to find out information, and help sort the parking space issue. They went the second mile, and are so great.
when I saw the shed in the garden, I knew nothing else was going to be able to compete. Glad she got her parking, the flat is ideal for her.
I really feel for this buyer. I’m now recovering from hip surgery and using the same kind of crutches that she does. It’s definitely a hardship moving around. The parking for her was rightfully so incredibly important. The flat is lovely and having neighbourhood shops nearby is a major bonus as well. I hope it all worked out for her!!
A lot of outsi
A lot of outside the box commentary.
This was a beautiful flat and so happy they got the parking she needed.
And the prices..
I enjoy trying to find the London properties on the map. The flat is on Brecknock Road and the 2009 street view shows that off street parking was granted. Good episode.
Ive been doing it for as many of them as I can! its great haha
This is a great find and a gorgeous flat with a garden and shed for her business. Wow! 🎉😊
Glad it worked out for this buyer and hope she is doing well today.
I'm so thrilled she got the OK from everyone to use the parking space. She will be a great neighbour and thankful to them as well. Great story and great ending.
Oh I loved this, some flats were gorgeous, glad she found the right one in the end 👍💯✔🏠🏠🏠
The camera man and editor must have a vendetta against that poor guy on the scaffolding lol
I feel like celebrating on her behalf. She deserves to be independent
Laura. What a delightful person. All the best to her.
16:04 The shot that no one asked for😂
Hahaha! Well spotted!
😂😂😂😂
Yes! I saw that and thought that Phil must have directed this episode. He has such a sneaky cheeky (pardon the expression), sly sense of humour, especially when gays are on the show - he gets little snarky comments in with such smooth delivery that you could miss it if you didn't realize he's always taking the piss out of homosexuals.
Haha, yes! Builder’s bum!
@@FigaroHey really?
Great job on getting her the Parking spot. Love the Flat.😍
I'm SO happy she got it!
Central Oregon USA
This has to be an old episode as I seem to remember prices rocketing in and around 2003 to ridiculous heights
Great outcome!
She can apply to the council to get a disabled parking space outside.
Fantastic. I hope her marbled paper enterprise succeeds too!
I would think the "council" would have been much more accommodating about the off street parking due to her limited mobility. Do they not have handicap parking in England?
Love this show❤️💯
What a lovely girl this young lady was. I was cheering for her & I hope you do a follow up on her!!
Fan from USA
From the state of the phone I'd say this is an outrageously old episode. 😂
Yes you are right. This was 20 years ago. How do I know? Well, they are still on TV now in the UK
Then don't watch. I love watching these from the US and while I enjoy newer episodes these old ones suit me. Where do I find new ones?
And computer 🥹
And the prices are twenty years old as well.
It's March 2024, Ireland is in Chaos, please never change Kirsty and Phil, constants in a world gone mad.
👍👍👍 All Homes is THE channel for Location Location Location episodes. Best Volleyball is a WASTE OF TIME channel.
Wow I can't believe they pulled that off!
It has been 15 years since I was in London but do they not have disabled parking plaques and parking spaces? In my neighborhood in the States, you can apply for a disabled parking only marker on the street outside your home if you qualify.
Think u could double the price of those flats today in 2022!
easily! if not triple
Omg I'm ready to relocate to the UK at these prices. I wonder what year was this episode from?
Has to be in the 1980s.
290k doesn't buy a mousetrap in any of the world's major metropolitan cities.
@@Angel_Fire33 2005/2006 Phil and Kirsty did their own separate house hunts starting 2007.
@@Angel_Fire33 Thanks for that feedback. Had we only known how expensive the market would get we all would have bought back then.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻from 🇺🇸
I'd love to see a follow up on this one.
So I was wondering if the parking was stipulated as a nonnegotiable for her and the offer? What I mean by that is, if she could not have gotten the parking she could’ve backed out of the deal? Or is this something you just have to take a chance on in the UK?
I’m not sure there’s a definitive answer, but I just thought if anyone knew I would be interested.
My son is in a wheelchair and so parking would be Paramont to any particular move of ours, as it really was for her as well. So just curious.
seen. MANY years ago.
The prices do reflect that. When was it do you remember?
What exactly is the paper marbling business actually?
⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🥰🤗
If I were her, looking at the flat being renovated, I'd at least ask about the feasibility of having the two bedrooms and bath along one side, front to back and the other side totally open kitchen, diner, living, open to the garden at the back. Just a thought.
It's feasible, as long as you're willing to pay for the changes. It's not free, lol.
😊
I laugh every episode they refer to those holes in the wall as "generous" or "large sized" bedrooms
gosh how old is this
Paper marbling “business” 🤔
Space cost money or is she aware of that fact?
Crack alert at 16:05..😂😂😂
lol! I missed that.
That amuses you?
@@juliansydney9819 Yes, very much so. Why?
Feb 2023
Ewww those super low slung jeans , maybe they help Laura's hip issues ? Another era giveaway. Anyway, she's fortunate to get into that market. What are those properties valued at c. 2023 ?
Thats the pitfalls of living in London
Kirstie starts by being bossy and domineering - wouldn’t watch if it wasn’t for Phil
Where does she get her money? I know crass but yet when that other disabled gal was looking you had to mention not once, twice, but four times where her money was coming from???
Maybe inherited, maybe a settlement!
Um…did you even watch the video? lol
She & her sister sold their flat for 3x their purchase price
Are Kirsty & Phil a married couple.
Phil's s.m. side showing off; taking a person with crouches for life to visit a place with stairs leading up to the frontdoor, steps in the flat and many steps down inyo the garden. Or does he need a medical earsmearclean up job?
S.M.? Don’t be idiotic
she's handicapted...may give her a chance of private parking
You can add 100000 pounds onto this in 2022
how irritating is Kirsty. know all. rude to Phil. grrrr😡
Kirstie is NOT rude to Phil its just a game they play! How do you think they have worked together for so long..............
She isn't rude. It's the nature of the show and they play off each other.
It's just about the entertainment. No doubt Phil gets it, and he's surely more than capable of dealing with whatever she gets up to. I'm sure that for the most part, they both have fun teasing each other. Good entertainment has to have some sort of 'tension' to resolve to.
Absolutely. She can be revolting
