I agree with you about the lady raven part… everyone and their mother was saying they didn’t like her and she took too much screen time but she did well and we don’t have to get to know her which would’ve been pointless… also spot on with the twist! If you watch the other m.night movies, the twists are always toward the end and shift your whole perspective. People were saying there’s no twist here but I feel like the end part was a ginormous twist.
As a cat/ mouse thriller I personally loved it because it’s told from his perspective. I was literally rooting for a serial killer to escape, obviously as it went on it became more of a he needs to be stopped obviously . I know people have been incredibly negative from over analyzing it as a police procedural and how the mom was in regards to the twist but I don’t over analyze movies otherwise I’d probably not like many. For me this was a great idea and I enjoyed how they executed it. 8/10 for me
@@CineMan1978the only parts I really didn’t care for was the interaction with the obnoxious mom of one of his daughters “friends”. I’m not sure what the significance of her character was supposed to be other than showing potential cracks in his personality as those scenes were filmed really tight & close. You’re also spot on about having to suspend belief in parts , namely how they get wind of the concert & how the trap is set in such a public setting. That being said I don’t know how else you get the police there or the overall premise for a majority of the movie without it being an indirect tip and they’re being so desperate to catch this guy.🤷🏼♂️

@@VICENTE760 when he confronted her and what followed after that, I didn't see coming which for me I count as a twist.
Highly recommend The Sixth Sense and Signs. It’s as if they were written by a completely different director. 10/10
