Cop says at 21:00 "Is there anything you want to tell me about what's going on here?" The perfect answer is: "Yes. When will you guys figure out that the moment you stop confronting innocent people committing no crime is the moment we stop taking video? No one will watch a 10 minute UA-cam video where nothing happens."
Exactly. Their company might have a dress code for their employees. Would they go out onto the street and tell passersby that they need to wear a suit and tie?
The dispatcher has poor listening skills. The officer asked her what crime they described him of committing, and instead of stating "none" she repeated that he was filming towards the port and refusing to Identify himself.
Awesome. Some people just dont get it. I love it. Hillarious. Informative. As far as people not liking the response, "i dont have to answer that", oh well. Its not rude, its informative. Just because someone, anyone asks you a question, does not mean you have to answer. These people injecting themselves into the scene is what makes me roll. Keep up the good work.
These security rent-a-cops need to be reminded. apparently over and over again, that whatever can be seen from a public location, can be recorded -- LEGALLY. But they are not getting it, are they? My attitude at that point would be, "School's in session. Time for some order-followers to get educated." Police that know their job and know people's rights and the law, can be a valuable ally. These guys did a good job, and everything was resolved peacefully. Hopefully the rent-a-cops learned something important, and hopefully will pass it on to their fellow employees. That could make everything go better next time they find themselves in a similar situation. Good job keeping calm, and saying only what was important. Keep up the good work, Bunny Boots!
This looks like a UA-cam video that I shot at the Port of Brunswick, Georgia a while back. Most of the time I'm Jeff's backup cameraman, but that day it let me loose, damn near didn't make it up the hill. Of course I had a ball, like you did listening to all the BS from the "Rent-A-Cops" . Nice Job and keep up the good work.
I was in the Marines so Rules of Engagement guided how I projected my limited authority as a security officer. Two under trained gate watchers with guns come off their post and walk outside of Doyon's corporate protection utter stupidity. I had this problem when I worked for Purcell up the hill at the AT&T complex. My idiot supervisor wanted me to approach vehicles of the grounds of AT&T. Needless to say there was no way in hell I was coming off the property because I knew AT&T and Purcell would not have my back off my post.
3:43 - "We got a no photography, no video camera-ing towards the port facility. That's the reason we're hassling you." BBI says "Can you name the State law, court case, or Federal law that covers that?" Dude, he couldn't even remember to say that it was a policy, you really think he's going to be able to name off a statute? He was clearly just jabber-jawin' until the cops showed up. At least he admitted they were hassling you.
The great thing about Rent a Cops is that when you sue them, their employer and the company that hired them the money comes out of THEIR pockets and not the taxpayers. Sadly, in this case, the ultimate employer is a government agency.
i was thinking, what if at around the 13 minute mark if he had picked up his tripod and started walking to another spot? would they react seeing how they had detained him and all....LOL
Nice job dude. Simply amazing how professional you were and the security guy simply couldn't say " Hey, thanks for being cooperative and I'm sorry" Just amazing
Why do security guards think they can demand identification in a public place? They have zero authority there. Inside the property they are guarding perhaps, depending on the laws, but not in the public.
To all 1st amendment testers. Ask the authority to step away from the cameraview of the tripod camera. As we all know that they are wrong, they are willfully hindering you in doing your "job". Wonder how they react to such a request. And tell them that you will take action about this issue.
I really wish you would eventually tell them the reason for filming, "I'm making a documentary about idiotic security guards and cops who don't know squat about the Constitution or laws. I'm getting a great shot of one right now." That obviously doesn't apply to the public servants at the end. They were great examples of fine officers. Hats off to those men.
another douche bag that think he can hide behind the constitutions because he has nothing better to do with his pitiful life than waste the time of others. get a life.
Yeah, like Rosa Parks, who had nothing better to do but piss of the bus driver; and Thomas Paine, who had nothing better to do than piss off the King; and Noam Chomsky, who had nothing better to do than piss off Richard Nixon. So, piss off, Duncan.
I'm pretty sure I have a greater understanding of it and the rest of the amendments in the constitution than most people. This includes the knowledge of Alaska's state constitution, federal and local laws for the state of Alaska and city of Anchorage. I have experience dealing with people like the individual making the recording, and all they are there for is to simply make other people's lives difficult and their work day harder. What's worse is that you have people like Marc Weeks comparing this fool in the video with those who wanted to changed societal and political injustice like Rosa Parks. This individual wants nothing more than to cause conflict where there is none while hiding behind the laws. Fortunately the individual will likely screw up and eventually be cited under statute 42.20.310. I would also like to make clear that I'm not justifying the actions of the security officer either. It doesn't matter that you're being paid 15.00 an hour, learning the laws as a security officer is just as vital as keeping in shape. Finally, this guy is NO Rosa Parks, Winston Churchill, Harriet Tubman or Malala Yousafzai. It comes down to, If you think your rights have been violated, take it to court and change it from there. Don't waste people's time because you want to be a jackass.
Police dispatcher guilty of stupidity escalation by describing the call as a crime of photographing the port based on the caller merely saying so. If I phone to complain that a waiter is committing the crime of looking at me strangely from across a room does that get repeated as a crime over the radio to armed officers?
+-=Sp00k=- It's from practice from doing work on other youtube channels. I've been working to improve on my editing skill when I have the time and try to experiment here and there. There are limits on what editing I can do with my software but I'm still finding ways to push the limits with it.
+Bunny Boots Ink How did you get the Audio from what went over the scanner? Did you request it or did u have one on you and we just couldn't hear it on the video?
Recorded it from the online stream of the scanner but that was shut down during the winter when a former DEA guy took the role of police chief citing an issue of an organized crime syndicate using it even though they had a two hour delay on the stream.
Whatever you're doin, is your business. LOVE the multiple cams! When you started w/ a 3rd vid cam/smartphone vid, was impressed! Can tell you've seen quite a bit of what can happen during interactions! Wow, you've got guts! Sub'd!
Perfect, this is how every officer needs to behave like, non of that power hungry, cowboy, guilty until proven innocent bullshit. Two model officers actually doing their jobs without intimidation or gang mentality. Great work its nice to know that not every officer is corrupt.
LOLOL I was wondering if you were gonna add that phone footage to the vid. Niiiice!!! Isn't it illegal to even ask you to delete evidence?? LOL Very nice results. Fantastic!!
Security folks ass-ume they have any authority over citizens exercising their 1st A right, on public accessible areas . Glad they got it straight..from the police..
"Delete the video and this will all go away" How long before he starts asking for money to make the problem go away (with no video to prove it happened)?
having seen a lot of videos like this finally I get to see some nice cops who's got sensibility. It is 5-10 % so far, not a good ratio...It varies from state to state.
wow... did that ever go downhill fast in a bad way just like the guards said lol.... that guard is definitely somebody to be trusted for his exceptional judgment, and unshakeable integrity. The exact person I would want representing my company in situation where he must interact with the public
This is funny, 1st a contractor of a private security corporation attempts to intimidate a free man by telling him that the port is private property so the constitution does not apply, and then calls the cops when he is forced to admit that the port is a public municipality. The problem is that the municipalities are not public, they are funded by the public, but ran by private interests that hire private contractors are armed enforcement. Funny. Let's watch further and see corporate enforcers arrive :) Finally! Some human cops for a change, right on, this is exactly why videos like this are needed in this police state America. Great vid +1 !

BigSmartArmed Not all of us....and more and more are waking daily...I believe any government that rules at the barrel of a gun needs destruction.....and the US CORP(SE) has become one of the worst....
One of my favorite parts of this video is right near the end, where the cop walks up to him and confirms he's not doing anything wrong with this weird nervous energy, and then swings out the super hopeful sounding "can I get your ID?" absolutely knowing its not going happen. Hilarious!
Wow, makes me want to move to Alaska where the cops (at least these two) are genuinely on the side of the law, unlike those two douchebag security dudes, lol. Great video editing as well, enjoyed it greatly.
Anchorage Police and the Alaska State Troopers do have problem officers and not completely good. I've seen videos and filmed one myself involving APD going outside their legal bounds to get their way. The Troopers got in real hot water last year when one pulled over a reporter and took his memory card from a camera because he took pictures of a crime scene near Williow. Overall you will get decent encounters but as I stated there are bad ones with in the force so you should always use caution and document any interaction with at least an audio recording from a cellphone if possible.
It's always humorous when they quickly go to the next question when the first is answered they way this guy answered it. :) SS1, I like it! The ID question answered with your asking for his ID. Ask them if they've ever heard of google street view.
My question is why this is even an issue... What do they have to hide? You can barely even fucking see anything from there. Seriously man everyone sits here and acts like the whole world is hunky dory but the second you start filming, taking pictures, or asking too many questions, it looks to me like your rights are no longer rights. WHAT DO THEY HAVE TO HIDE? What is the issue with his camera facing there? Its just a port? I could record everything that comes in and out of there for weeks and if there's nothing to hide then who gives a shit? Wake up people.. this shit scares me everyday im alive. Because im 19 years old with a lot of life ahead of me and im thinking about how shitty it might be when and if I get to having kids..
Coolest cops I've ever seen. Talk about them already knowing what is up before they even talked to you. Gotta love that telescoping tripod, though, Mighty chuckle on that one.
Bunny I got a question? Have you seen any of the box cars with schackles scattered around? I have seen several sites on here that I thought I saw some?
I take it you don't know about the box cars I was referring to. THEY WERE MADE IN TEXAS. THREE TIERS OF BUNKS, WITH A VER SMALL WINDOW. WORD IS THEY WANT TO USECTHEM TON TAKE PEOPLE TO FEMA CAMPS. MAYBW WAIT TILL WINTER AND TAKE THEM NORT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS FIRST,
keep in mind if you are some first year law student and plan to show off your mental muscles, these guys are GED qualified guard dogs. they cannot be much of a challenge to someone who is planning to match wits with them on constitutional issues. picking fights with them is inane and shows little mental acuity.
these are human guard dogs keeping the boarders safe from terrorists, drug runners and illegals i dont want them questioning their actions at that level. i dont want to have lunch with them, share ideas over coffee or let them date my sister, but i do want them asking everyone coming into this country to prove their citizenship.
Tim Holt President Obama is trying to change the dominant paradigm by allowing illegals to become voters thereby insuring his legacy. we're a socialist nation, like it or not, and our capitalist owners will keep shifting the focus of media and energies of the people until they gain a profit at our expense.
We are well and truly screwed as a nation Will. We just thought the peanut farmer would hold the title of worst modern day POTUS..until barry the fool entered the scene.
Also, the RCMP was the best police force I've had the pleasure of meeting. I hear that has changed. Now, they act as personal thugs for the government.
Public Trustee, "Your not doing anything unlawful.'', "Is there anything I can help you with?". Us, "Yes can you inform the security guards that by calling the Public Trustees for an act of lawful activity is bearing false witness, defamation of character, and slander. They the security guards might be liable for rights violations under common law."
"Private Person" out in public taking photos is not a contractor, employee nor agent to the Port bound by any "policy" of the Corporation known as Port of Anchorage. No adhesion here. Port's policy is not law to those not in joinder.
So according to the security gaurd, every car that crosses the rail road tracks going towards the port with a dash cam is in violation of the law?
Cop says at 21:00 "Is there anything you want to tell me about what's going on here?"
The perfect answer is:
"Yes. When will you guys figure out that the moment you stop confronting innocent people committing no crime is the moment we stop taking video? No one will watch a 10 minute UA-cam video where nothing happens."
Paulina Paulino unfortunately we both just did. And that's why I gave him a thumbs down.
Good video. You stood your ground and deserve a thumbs up. 👍
"As far as our regulations go".......your regulations mean NOTHING outside of the property. Your policies means nothing. Policies are not laws.
I enjoy the Silent Treatment. It baffles them. The security guard thinks he's a cop. He's not. He's a JOKE.
Keep up the good work.
when you show no fear...these guys are powerless

These insecurity guards are not bright enough to be embarrassed after being told the facts.
Nicely done. Security goons slunk away without even an apology. No big surprise.
These cops were AWESOME. Makes me happy to be a resident of Alaska.
Much respect to the camera man and the well behaved decent cops that attended. 10/10
I was in the Marines so Rules of Engagement guided how I projected my limited authority as a security officer. Two under trained gate watchers with guns come off their post and walk outside of Doyon's corporate protection utter stupidity.

I like what you did here. I wish we had that Constitution too in France. Thanks
The APD gets a flying pass on this one!! The security company isn't even worth discussing.
LEOs - Pass, well done.
Security - Fail, utter fail...Derp-class fail.
3:43 - "We got a no photography, no video camera-ing towards the port facility. That's the reason we're hassling you."

i was thinking, what if at around the 13 minute mark if he had picked up his tripod and started walking to another spot?
would they react seeing how they had detained him and all....LOL
I think you let the air out of their sails
Sue the guard for bearing false witness against you.
Good work don't let them take your rights away👍
Nice job dude. Simply amazing how professional you were and the security guy simply couldn't say " Hey, thanks for being cooperative and I'm sorry" Just amazing
I LOVE how the 1st security guy never opened his mouth again once he realized what was up.... hahahahhahaha!!!
Why do security guards think they can demand identification in a public place? They have zero authority there. Inside the property they are guarding perhaps, depending on the laws, but not in the public.
How the fuck can you possibly maintain your composure?! You rock buddy! Nice job!
It would be no use me doing audited filming, because I would not be able to be so polite in the face of such stupidity from so many people.
Is it just me or did his demeanor change completely when you said "your lawyers have put you in a bad situation then"?
20 big trucks in ten minutes... what on earth is being moved so quickly and why so sensitively?
To all 1st amendment testers. Ask the authority to step away from the cameraview of the tripod camera.
As we all know that they are wrong, they are willfully hindering you in doing your "job".
Wonder how they react to such a request.
And tell them that you will take action about this issue.
you should have got a big ass director's chair and sat in that while filming
I really wish you would eventually tell them the reason for filming, "I'm making a documentary about idiotic security guards and cops who don't know squat about the Constitution or laws. I'm getting a great shot of one right now."

he isnt doing anything wrong...cops should make themselves useful elsewhere.......chicken or the egg
You for got to tell him it is not legal to block your view when filming!😎
This is the first video I ever watched . This is what got me started watching adits
Police dispatcher guilty of stupidity escalation by describing the call as a crime of photographing the port based on the caller merely saying so. If I phone to complain that a waiter is committing the crime of looking at me strangely from across a room does that get repeated as a crime over the radio to armed officers?
Hahaha 🤪
I bet the police officer will not get promotion, he is to knowledgable for that. Fancy a LEO with intelligence so the world is not lost after all.
"Yea, Ralph. One of those days when we actually have to do something"
Jerry Whitmire i'm here
Dude... you rock at editing! Loved the PiP's. Top left went off as I saw you fiddling with the phone on main. Nice...

I'll be damned. They actually followed the law on that one.
Bravo to the cops. Asked for ID and reason BUT asking is fine. Good cops that were cordial and knowledgeable. Both IDed nicely. Very good audit.
So that's what a "good cop" looks like. Haven't seen many of those.

How long before he starts asking for money to make the problem go away (with no video to prove it happened)?
right... lolo
The second time I have watched this over the last few years (auto-play). Still interesting, even more so, now that I have learned so much more.
Actual cops knew the law...rent a cops didnt
What camera do you use/wear?
having seen a lot of videos like this finally I get to see some nice cops who's got sensibility.
I enjoy your video. You are polite well mannered and you have a nice way of not answering questions. Great job.
awesome now the security guard have been educated...
Next time they ask you why your filming tell them its my turn to film today that will confuse the hell out of them
ex policemen as well... takes a lot to drag them off retirement...
Raising the camera over their heads, LMAO! Brilliant, nice move!
Thank you so much for training rent a cops! People never admit the value in this!
"this can really go downhill from here", ha ha ha!
I seen this before but I enjoyed watching it again ? Thanks for all you do bunny!😜😎

Great vid +1 !
If they are paid for by us we are all the owner...and have an interest...can you order an owner what to do on their property?
James Barnes
At gun point, yes you can. If you are a private individual then it would be called armed robbery, but if you are an armed LEO, then it would be called Civil Forfeiture.
Something like that...
BigSmartArmed
Wrong, changing the words to make it seem ok does NOT change the act...It is armed robbery ....No matter the costume, the felon is wearing...
James Barnes
It was sarcasm. These days just stating facts is just as useful as a morning fart.

Is even guards , ignorance of the law is no excuse, sue then for violent rights! Sue them personally, their company, and who hired them!
anything you cam see from a public right away is not a crime
No trespassing of the eyes that day. 👍
Two renta-cops "0", two actual educated cops "2" : )
Did I follow you on Utube?I don't have to answer that😂😂😂😂😂
11:53 lmao pretendagaurd scratches his non informed head. Priceless!
One of my favorite parts of this video is right near the end, where the cop walks up to him and confirms he's not doing anything wrong with this weird nervous energy, and then swings out the super hopeful sounding "can I get your ID?" absolutely knowing its not going happen. Hilarious!

Love it!
When I worked up by the pan handle of Alaska near Juno and Ketchikan, the police were always helpful and curtios.
It's always humorous when they quickly go to the next question when the first is answered they way this guy answered it. :) SS1, I like it! The ID question answered with your asking for his ID. Ask them if they've ever heard of google street view.
anchorage police is very professional, hope those guys start fighting the gangs in alaska
My question is why this is even an issue... What do they have to hide? You can barely even fucking see anything from there. I appreciate this stand up the revaluation is coming be on board
What are they hiding that they're so afraid of video and pictures? Lack of transparency, man
Give them a uniform and they act and feel like a king.
The funny part about this video is that these quacks get paid to basically babysit a grown adult human being on public property. It's pathetic.
Coolest cops I've ever seen. Talk about them already knowing what is up before they even talked to you. Gotta love that telescoping tripod, though, Mighty chuckle on that one.
Also ask the guard if he is accepting liability for his actions on behalf of his employers.
When people ask you to "delete your video"....
do they not realize what they did was ask you to DESTROY EVIDENCE?
Meanwhile truck after truck of stolen goods leaves the port right behind these knuckleheads backs.
i'm very concerned bunny boots is still detained!
Great editing man!!
Where are you bunny? Have you stopped auditing? I enjoyed your videos so much.
Such a waste of time and resources over film. I bet that security company helps the port feel really secure.
Bunny I got a question? Have you seen any of the box cars with schackles scattered around? I have seen several sites on here that I thought I saw some?
No, the only shackles I see are the wireless ones people are always putting in their pocket.
I take it you don't know about the box cars I was referring to. THEY WERE MADE IN TEXAS. THREE TIERS OF BUNKS, WITH A VER SMALL WINDOW. WORD IS THEY WANT TO USECTHEM TON TAKE PEOPLE TO FEMA CAMPS. MAYBW WAIT TILL WINTER AND TAKE THEM NORT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS FIRST,
why were u making that video over there anyway?
Great video. Here's a link (not my channel) for a DIY wind guard for your mic. It really helps. Homemade Micromuff - DSLR Wind Muff - QUICK FX
Thanks for the link I will see about giving that a shot.
That shit works. I used on the newest video coming out and it cut out the wind issues very well.
David Verner FTW! Thank knoptop.
You have to adore the moose bash bars the APD has on their cruisers... Completely love the fried chicken at the LUCKY WISHBONE...
keep in mind if you are some first year law student and plan to show off your mental muscles, these guys are GED qualified guard dogs. they cannot be much of a challenge to someone who is planning to match wits with them on constitutional issues. picking fights with them is inane and shows little mental acuity.
