    Third issue, when he was asked if they had his property, the security guard initially lied and said they didn't have it. They attempted to steal his camera equipment.

    Outside the main courthouse entrance in my town is a sign put up "per Sheriff Tim Burkhalter" that no video or audio recording equipment is allowed inside of the building. (We have sheriff's deputies running the metal detector.) I think it's time they're challenged on that. Video coming soon...

    I've seen like 5 or 6 videos like this at federal courthouses. Every single time, DHS has issued an apology and promised training regarding recording rights of citizens. It is 100% perfectly legal and acceptable to record on federal property including all hallways, foyers, etc. I'm sure you know that. I'm interested in seeing the ending of this. Please keep us updated.

      Yes it's perfectly legal and acceptable to record on federal property. All you have to do is give up your forth amendment rights, in order to be allowed to go in and take video.

      I noticed another sign went up in tennessee in a courtroom saying,no shorts above knees [women only' no sneezing ,no coughing ,no baby's crying,no talking, or passing gas, violate any of these rules you will be removed from courtroom and arrested.I ask a court officer had anyone ever been arrested for passing gas? he said yes and the guy was giving ten days in jail and a woman received 30 days because her baby cried.I also found out this is the same small tennessee town where a tennessee police LT said when asked his thoughts own the Constitution said,I use it every morning to wipe my ass with .Needless to say we left tennessee immediately upon learning this and as we where leaving we saw three tennessee cops holding their guns own two young AA who like like they where 10 or 12 years old I hope they didn't hurt the kids.we never new if they did or not.

    So he needs to identify you so that if he determines a citation needs to be issued he can mail it to you? How about he determines if a crime has been committed first and then identify you....it's important to record what goes on as people mishear or lie....Was watching a Carlos Miller issue once and the cops are constantly trying to have him turn the camera off the whole time Carlos says this is not commercial eventually after the cop fails to get him to turn the camera off he essentially just lies on camera claiming Carlos says it was commercial photography just imagine how much bolder they would have been if the camera was off.

    i see what they did there. they made it look like he was investigating so he can have a reason to get your ID. because if his investigation gets cleared they wont be held accountable for taking your ID anyway. they will just simply say that they made a mistake but had to conduct the "investigation". on your future videos try not to give them any reason to "investigate" you.

I'm looking forward to researching your earlier stuff, and drawing better conclusions of your work. at this time, I thank you for your patriotism, and being the tool that I cannot (disabled) in leading our nation forward. what you, and others are doing with the simple weapons of a camera, and knowledge will eventually be the undoing of any future "police state". while others, such as "tom zebra", have been at this for over a decade, this movement is still in it's infancy. the real work lies ahead. be strong, and safe, my new friend. chris.

    Rest assured Mr. Policeman, when your department gets tired of the lawsuits, complaints, and negative publicity you have bestowed upon them and they consider you a liability without further need of your "I don't serve & protect, I intimidate & disregard" mentality, & you are filling out the unemployment forms, we the people will try to help you assimilate back into society as a minimum wage earner with all the benefits thereof. With that said, We need laws, police & our constitution. What we don't need are officers who go from lawful interaction with the public to unlawful orders & harassment based on there own personal ego under threat of arrest, intimidation or violence. When a cop stops doing his/her duty under the law so he/she can show you who the boss is, using the badge & gun that we the people entrusted them with for lawful purposes only, that's when it's time to put in place on the spot criminal penalties, fines & arrest just like we the people are subjected to when we fail to comply with our laws. Until there is a swift and sure penalty for our citizens who wear a badge and choose to ignore there oath & the rights of even one person, this abuse and disregard for the publics rights will continue. You can be a cop and uphold the laws of the land & the constitution at the very same time. That is what serve & protect means. Anything outside of the law, your oath and our constitution is a policeman playing GOD all by themselves outside of the power we entrust them with. In that case, arrest, fine, ticket, re-training or being fired is in order as to put a stop to those who abuse what we the people have trusted you with, fought for, and died to protect! OUR U.S. CONSTITUTION. Think your above it? That's what the most powerful men & women in law enforcement thought until one day, a recording slapped them down to being a mortal like the rest of us who cherish our civil liberties. You can serve & protect, but not at the expense of my rights. Who's next?

    I don’t feel as if these old men that are still doing these jobs understand technology and the first A. They need retraining if they are to continue to be allowed to work with the general public. And they better get used to being filmed. Same with all public officials and just about anyone in public. Times have changed and we must change with them.

  • @BruceOldSargeWalden
    @BruceOldSargeWalden 10 років тому +1

    In response to the yahoo email, yes it does have a bearing and if you read carefully what I said you'll see it. BTW, Fred Schwartz was a one time Nom De Plum as I am a writer, but my name is Roger Bruce Walden. You can check it out. Bottom line, Bunny here, filming this particular spot is putting children and families at grave risk, well potentially. Might try looking at the world bub. I know you think you're making a point, but it requires more than just a casual glance.

    • @robertconner6985
      @robertconner6985 10 років тому +2

      Oh, I've given it more than a casual glance, Bruce. The clear and present dysfunction with your tactical analysis is typical in a loss of situational awareness. Your baseline is fundamentally altered by your chronic fear. Fear of change. Fear of the loss of "your" country. Fear of the lack of control you feel every minute of every day. Your own personal focus lock is setting the agenda in your interactions with the public. Your inability to 'control' your enemy has turned the general public into the enemy.
      I generally find it fascinating to observe self-declared patriots who claim to love AmericA...but find ordinary interaction with AmericaN's to be disarming and dangerous. The only ones at 'grave risk' are the people you try to control, even at your low level civilian job.

    • @BruceOldSargeWalden
      @BruceOldSargeWalden 10 років тому

      Robert Conner Well Robert I know what I"m talking about from real world experience. You are making a judgment about a man whom you have never met. If you knew my interaction with citizens and if you know how well I get along with folks, you'd change your mind. But that's fine. I see it like this; as the old saying goes, you have a right to yell fire, but not in a crowded theater. I don't for a moment believe Mr. Boots is a terrorist. What I am saying is there are a lot of looney tunes out there who'd love to take advantage of any opportunity. So, why should we help them. Make sense? I know those who don't want to see the experience of such folks as me simply declare us brainwashed because it is easier that way.

  • @JasonAguirre
    @JasonAguirre 10 років тому

    I think you made a mistake my friend. Refusing to stop filming could not be construed as a crime in the first place. Neither could refusing their orders. The most they can do is refuse you admittance, and since you asked to leave at that point there was never a crime. In order to detain you, he has to come with some evidence that a crime occurred. Simply saying there is a complaint but they don't know if a crime occurred doesn't count. In other words he should have gone through all those questions to determine if there was a crime before getting your ID.

  • @JFizoust

These guys are real pricks and should be treating citizens they meet a lot nicer, not like they're Wiatt Earp. (It's suppose to be govt. by the people, for the people, run by the people, not the other way around...) What pricks! The only person who was being reasonable was the DHS cop.

    In response to this video, a few things need to be considered. First, certainly this gentleman has a 1st Amendment right to record even on government land. However, what he omits in his little video is that room beyond the second blue-shirted guard is a museum. Families (as you saw in the video) as well as children frequent that room and he does not have a right to endanger them.
    Secondly, he says he served in the military and that’s great, if indeed he did, but let me tell you about my service and what I learned. I am the first blue-shirted guard you see in this video and I served 15 years in Special Forces. I’m guessing this guy doesn’t have such credentials. Those of you who believe what you see on 24 will immediately slam your ears shut because you don’t understand what we do. However, I will tell you this; Because of my training in Special Forces I can take a single picture, find one item whose measurements I know, and plan an entire attack around that information. This is brought out in stark terms in the book The Governor’s Initiative which I wrote and which appears on my webpage www.oldsargebooks.net .
    I would guess this young man has no intent of conducting some kind of attack against this facility. However, Abdul out there might not see it that way. A person who is already ticked at the US Government and decides to attack such a place will wind up killing innocents. Is this what you want Slick? Will you stand and be counted when they wipe out a bunch of children like Oklahoma City? Hmmm?
    I also noticed that he made a point of “blocking out” his own hand in the video. This is called cowardice. I’m betting that Mr. Bunny Boots never served in combat because he likely didn’t pack the grapes for it.
    As I said, I am all about everyone’s 1st Amendment rights. I respect the entire Constitution sir. You want to know what a patriot I am, bub? Read There’s No Such Thing as Can’t and Were You Warned? Also on my website.
    All of you cheering this guy on, you need to think carefully about the unintended consequences of his actions. All Americans have the same 1st Amendment rights, but what he is doing here is akin to the old adage of shouting, “Fire!” in a crowded theater. You do your little video trying to attain UA-cam Fame, and as a result a bunch of kids die, I hope you can live with that.

You do your little video trying to attain UA-cam Fame, and as a result a bunch of kids die, I hope you can live with that.

      We read all of this cut and paste jibber jabber the first time, Bruce/Fred. No need to repeat yourself unless, of course, you can't come up with anything new to add to the conversation.
      Sorry you couldn't get your books crowd funded...despite three attempts. “In old days books were written by men of letters and read by the public. Nowadays books are written by the public and read by nobody.”
      As an aside, why did you decide to offer forth your views about this video with the fake profile instead of your real profile? No one is out to get you. Really. You created the Fake Fred Schwartz profile years after your real one. Which anti-progressive/cranky old white guy/fearmongering books has Fake Fred Schwartz self published?

      Robert Conner Actual I pasted it in because the first time I realized I'd not signed the bottom. I wanted it made clear who I was, aside form the pen name.

      Oddly Bunny Boots doesn't declare his name I don't think.

      Fred Schwartz I do go by David Verner which is what I was posting with when the new Google+ stuff really made posting a pain in the ass. If you want to find out my real name I will let you follow the bread crumbs and find it out on your own. Just keep it to yourselves once you find it so it can be a treat for all those others that go for the search as it will take you on an interesting story.

      GreenTriumph1 Is what you think a Patriot is, someone who fights for you rights to take video that you will probably never have any interest in taking?
      Fred Schwarz is a real Patriot. People like him take an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, including those that come into our country, to bomb and kill innocent people, with the intent of taking our freedoms away. Real Patriots are out there putting their lives on the line to keep foreign invaders from bombing your rear end in your own country.
      Fred Schwartz was not bragging about his military service. He was telling you that he is not against our freedoms and he explained what he did about it.
      It seems that all non-veterans always try to diminish a veteran's sacrifice, when they try to explain why they are not against our freedoms. I'm not bragging when I tell you this. I served in the U.S.Navy during the 1960's, and it pisses me off when someone, especially a non veteran, tells me that I don't like our freedoms, and that I should move to Korea, when I speak against someone taking useless video, just to test our first Amendment, and to shove their camera in cops faces, to post on UA-cam.
