- This makeup look is basically for entertainment purposes hahaha do you ever have days like this too? I didn’t know if I wanted to share this but I thought it would be fun to share my thoughts and feelings and what I could have done differently lol. This looks great - it could have gone either way! I breathed a sigh of relief at all the blending. Hamish was definitely not lying, it turned out lovely. Kudos to you for putting in the effort for the date though - if I was in that mindset I’d have bailed for sure 😂
honestly i was (slash we were) ready to! but it ended up being a lovely night and just what we needed after a hectic couple weeks :)
I think the makeup looked so pretty!! When I feel so tired and just over it I totally get it nothing seems to go right and nothing looks good but like you said looking back it was actually really pretty! Mario has a new matte palette that looks good! Not too many new full palettes have dropped though ! Excited for the declutter! Maybe revisit some old favorites for now? I want to have just my favs and clear out what is just okay…Hope you’re having a good week 😊
Girl I feel you! This just hits with me so much! There are days when washing my hair feels like such a tremendous chore. I have thin hairs but so much of it that it literally takes like an hour to wash and condition it, lol. My hair dresser hates me! Then, to blow dry and style, it's just a no sometimes. You look beautiful as always, even if you do not feel it. Thank you for uploading such a relatable video, I loved it! ❤

first off, we all know that feeling of when you do your makeup and you just ~know~ it isn’t what you wanted and it becomes alllllllll you can focus on. it is such a downer downer feeling :(( im sorry you felt so unhappy about it but it did really look beautiful as ALWAYS w you!!
i died when you talked about when you were a kid and you’d experiment w insane makeup before showering LOL. used to do that all the time.
also, some palettes i looooooove are from juvias place. have you ever tried them? they’d be so fun for you because they’re so colorful and bold and stunning. i think i have the masquerade palette. other than that, girl my ass has been using modern renaissance STILL. will never abandon my #1
Unsure if Shan will read this comment , this also will be the first and last comment ill ever add to her videos however, I have always thought she was a rare beauty, as a young woman to then a gorgeous bride and now a wonderful, stunning mother. The transiston to motherhood isnt for the faint hearted but she deals with it with such class and grace. An absolutely beautiful woman. Tbh it breaks a girls heart to hear her tough criticism of her self because she doesnt deserve that kind of self talk. A woman once told me that as a mother, we are the most beautiful woman, forever and always to our children ❤️ and they are, alongside our husbands, the only opinion that counts.

I just got the cosmic brushes muse palette and it's beautiful. You should get it if you can. Any of their palettes have fantastic quality if you prefer a different color story.
I've been feeling like this lately with my makeup like I cannot get it to look nice. But I don't have any other products to try and make it better. Maybe I'm just not feeling myself. 🤷🏻♀️

You may try indie brands like Fantasy Cosmetica, Oden's eye, Clionadh for really amazing quality eyeshadows. You look really pretty... I think you didn't feel ok so you don't see yourself as good as usual
You mentioned finding "a" gray hair......I'm sitting here with hair color on my bang and sides covering up lots of gray hairs watching your video while waiting for my 30 minutes to be up. I have many days when I hate how my makeup looks....just not feeling it. I do think your look was soft and pretty.

for eyeshadow, i've been loving my custom mac eyeshadow palette that i got for myself for my last birthday! i started watching beauty youtube in like 2009 so i've always wanted a custom mac palette. i love using blanc type and all that glitters and just soft pinky peachy bronzy shades.

I’ve been using the tartelette in bloom palette a lot lately. I wish something new would come out tbh. I still haven’t found my ~perfect~ palette.
I reckon it turned out awesome, looks really good. Also in terms of eye palettes I'm just using old ones, the ones I have are mostly your ones and then a bronze/highlight one that I use for all too. No new ones here in my collection to be using haha.

It literally takes me an hour to shower if i wash my hair. That's just my shower. Drying my hair takes forever like i blow dry for 45 minutes and it's still wet. Then it takes another hour to heat style it, at least an hour. I have very thick coarse partially curly hair. It's long too but the sides are shaved.
I'll play with makeup sometimes after work but i rarely wear make-up like to work on the day to day anymore. It's because i want to play around with makeup and i don't have that kind of time before work and stuff.
The ct bronzers are my favorite. The cream and the powder are beautiful on my fair skin.
