- I thought I would call this a "second impressions" where we try some of the products i've recently reviewed for the first time and give them another go, in a new way! What do you think? Should I do this occasionally from now on? Also.... LOVE this makeup. I might need to do full glam foundations more often...

The butterfly srud thing only really happens if you sleep in them or wear them tight and keep them in for a long time! I remove all my earrings at night (most of the time 😬😂) and I've had my ears pierced for like 30 years and never had an issue! I take the plastic off the back aswell and agree that my earrings feel like they are slipping otherwise

Shannon you are so beautiful! Im also a mom of a now 15yo son. I also had deep stretch marks across my belly and they do get better with time! I used maderma on mine and it made a really noticeable difference. About a year for them to fade and be skin color and they arent deep like they used to be. They are our tiger stripes we earned while carrying a tiny human❤
The back of the earrings with the plastic on is to stop the back of the earring from going into the hole if you have stretched ear holes

I have three kids and four pregnancies and my Skin around my belly and lower tummy got so loose that I got skin stuck in my zipper, I do microrolling with serums once a week and changed food and started working out, it helped a lot,Thank you so much for using the Palette again, you looked stunning🌺🌺🌺🌺
Hey Shan, if you're up for talking about it, I'd be curious to hear your story regarding having more kids. I have 2 step kids and considering having my own in a year or so, I'll be turning 33 in January though so I feel very unsure!

About the stretch marks! I just had my second baby after being covered in stretch marks on my chest, back, tummy, thighs even my calves, and I have to say I didn’t even get a single added stretch mark this second time around! I’m sure it definitely depends on the person but that’s how it worked it for me 😊
I've never the butterfly of my earrings go in but when one got a little rip and got infected it did grow over partially over it. The way I personally fix it (disclaimer what I do may not work for others that like to jump on the comments) is took clip off, cleaned it with iso and cleaned the wound. Put clip back on and cleaned around it with q tip untill healed.❤
Have you seen Isabel Clancy? She does her makeup the way girls did it back in the day, like you were talking about (orange foundation unblended, etc.) It's a self-parody and I think it's really funny :)

Lol my belly definitely felt like it was going to rip when I was pregnant with my third, I just carried him a little differently and the skin stretched out a little more but I seemed to have bounced back better after him than with my first 2… which was strange and unexpected

Hooray on your tomatoes!!!!!!!! They take a long time to get larger and start to take on their color, but once they do, I swear they ripen more every few hours! It's amazing. Just be *very* content with watering because they are a little fussy that way. Inconsistent watering can cause splitting/cracking.

I never liked the plastic on my earrings!! I felt like they were never secured & my big hoops would fall out!! 😂 and yeah they never used to have the plastic lol I remember thinking wtf when they first started doing it, I think it was around 2010 to 2011?

I'm a jeweler I resize rings everyday and I can promise you if you go to a reputable jeweler there will be no damage and if by the tiny chance there is a small amount of damage they will fix it free of charge. But when you get it sized up make sure to tell them to add gold and not just stretch the band but your ring from what I remember has a stone band and a pear center stone you may need to add a stone or two depending on how much you need to resize it.

1. Yes, to the orange mask of foundation that ended in a hard line under my chin. Also, hell yes to icy blue eyeshadow as well as black and blonde hair.
2. People are assholes! Back in the day my earrings never came with a plastic backing. When they do now, I hate it...and that's coming from someone who had to go to the ER to get the butterfly removed from inside my earlobe.
When I was at the end of my pregnancy I looked up how long it would take for my feet to go back to normal after pregnancy and it was like “your feet may never go back to normal”. Why don’t they tell us these things hahaha they did go back to normal but still haha

I had real bad stretch marks and got pregnant again, I just got more stretch marks, it's ok
I'm late 30s. Sometimes I miss pre 2000s back when SM wasn't a thing and I wasn't subjected to everyone's stupid opinions and arguments. So I feel ya on the earrings, people are just... exhausting sometimes.
It is completely safe to have another baby even with really bad stretch marks. I ended up with horrible stretch marks after my 1st baby and a c section scar and I had 2 more kids after my 1st one. If it wasn't safe to have anymore children I would tell you the truth. If you do decide to have another baby you will be fine.
😂😂😂 your tummy won't pop open with your second baby, if you have a second, it will all go well, just like your first...but yeah, if you think of having a tummy tuck, you want to be sure that you're not having another baby (and I'm suprised you don't want a little girl to do make-up with 😊) but I think you can get your tubes tied at same time as tummy tuck.
if you know you wont have more kids ,and it bothers you alot i would totally get it done

I had to have a tummy tuck after my daughter because I had so much excess skin after having her and it was the only way I could get rid of it, it was basically the same recovery as a c-section!
I love gardening! My mom and I have a little fruit and veg patch and she’s got her flowers 😊 I know exactly what you’re talking about with the tomatoes like it’s always so exciting to see the little baby ones and watch them grow over time and ripen 🥰
Omg my stretch marks were so bad after my second child. Like there so deep and dark. And I used every lotion oil stuff but nothing helped. They just got a little lighter after 2 years 🤦🏻♀️
Hi Shannon, I find it so refreshing to hear you talk about your tummy, because mine is the same. I have only had one baby who is almost 2.5 years old and I still have very loose skin and a ‘flabby’ feeling belly. I wish I could afford a tummy tuck. But at the same time, knowing that you (and many others) have the same type of belly makes me feel more normal. Especially after seeing other influencers whose stomachs look no different after having babies. Everyone is different xxx
Oh girl the postpartum body adjustment is real, I have a 3 month old and the mental struggle of looking at my body post baby it is ALOT 🤦🏼♀️

I got really bad stretch marks and saggy skin after my first! I've had 3 more babies since then and they never got worse I feel I didn't stretch past what I did with my first. I lost 30kg after baby #2 and my saggy skin did get heaps better but never the same. I also think I would need a tummy tuck and a breast lift to fix everything but wanted to make sure I was completely done after babies. That is now and I will start my weight loss journey in a few months when baby is 6 months old and then look into surgery. In Aus which may be the same as NZ part of it is covered by Medicare if you have had a certain amount of babies as the muscles have all been split open and it is reconstructive surgery not just plastic surgery
