Every time I watch a video of yours, I remember how weirdly connected my life feels to yours (and your mom's)! Lol I'm an INFJ, probably BW, and I've worked as a vet tech for like five years. It's just very interesting and definitely adds to that parasocial relationships feel haha
You're both so beautiful!❤ Seeing you both draped in each other's colors and then in your own colors, just proves that color analysis works! Whether it's clothing or makeup, we all have colors that we look and feel our best in. This video deserves a million likes because the two of you have shown what a huge difference the right and wrong colors really make on us. Believe me, I know first hand! I used to wear peachy nude lipstick and blush and wonder why it didn't look good on me like it did on my friends. I found out why when I had my own color analysis and found out that I'm a Bright Winter!😂 I was so happy because the Bright Winter colors look so natural on me and I look and feel pulled together now! I bought all new makeup in the right colors, and my closet is now full of bright cool toned colors that really work for me! Thank you for explaining and showing the importance of knowing your exact season!❤❤️
That was so sweet. I love the way you laugh together. It was interesting to see what different colors do to your appearance. You both look beautiful in your true colors.
You look lovely on Summer and there are bright colors you can wear in the Summer palette and you could wear some True Winter colors too. my mom is amTruemSummer and she is also a classic, she looks great in button downs, too!
This is so interesting and lovely to watch! I've commented before that I've been enjoying your videos as I've been trying to work out if I'm BW. Well I got properly typed and it turns out I'm dark autumn! I'm jealous of your lovely bright purples and blues but looking at my wardrobe... I knew what I was. So much maroon!
Ooo congrats on being a Dark Autumn! That's the season I wanted to be so badly! I love how effortlessly Dark Autumns can wear leather and suede. The color palette is so rich and diverse.
This is so cute! There truly is a difference in our natural beauty and the color palette we are born with. I was recently analyzed by Rebecca too. I am a Soft Autumn, but going in I thought I could be a spring. The color journey can be so personal and deep. Now I can see how I literally glow in these soft medium and neutral warm colors. I have loved digging into what makes each palette different and trying to understand how chroma, hue, and value combine in different quantities to paint such uniquely beautiful people.
Wow you look so much like your mom!! 😮 The only thing that confused me is that your moms haircolor looks very warm. Would she not be better off with a cooler blonde? She is giving spring vibes now 😅 Anyway very fun video
Off camera she was commenting to me how her hair stylist keeps going too warm and doesn't really get that she needs a cool blonde. So yeah, she knows she is too warm right now-- we just need to get the hair lady on board! Or convince her to be beautifully gray which I would LOVE to see. I think she could totally rock it.
Hair stylist almost always goes too warm because everyone's hair has more yellow in it when bleached. It can be fixed with a cool toner or your mom can use Silvershampoo (the purple), but even her blond parts are prob too dark for the purple shampoo to make a huge difference but it could just take the yellow edge of it 😊 Or go to a hairstylist that actually know how to do cool haircolors. You guys look great either way ❤
I'm some kind of summer I think and I've gone grey. I was advised by the hairdressers I asked not to put any highlights into my hair because it looks pretty good as is and because coloured hair turns warm, which clashes with the grey. I asked more than one, and they all said the same thing. I appreciated them for telling me that. It's always a dilemma when you really like another palatte. I like autumn colours.
Sorry for commenting yet again but I think colour analysis is finally clicking for me. So I'm high contrast with soft black/blackbrown hair, blackbrown eyes and light skin. I really struggle wearing many light colours bc I need contrast in clothes to echo my features. A lot of light colours are too close to my skintone so they literally start blending into my skin - in reverse, in a low contrast type this blending would look much better on them bc that echoes their level of contrast. At the very least, this confirms I'm a dark, high contrast season. Temperature isn't as important to me as that the right contrast is echoed. What I also find interesting is that in both dark seasons, it really becomes more apparent how temperature + contrast starts making people look more "black/white" vs "sepia". At the more extreme end of black/white is BW, where the "white" and "black" in the person start looking oversaturated almost. At the end of "sepia" is Warm(?) Autumn as their warmth + relative lightness gives them obvious "brown" tones.
I think your mom may benefit from 16-season's cool summer palette, which is not the same as true summer and has some winter influence. I've seen a video where Mia Maples was analysed as cool summer and her mom as true summer. And they both looked better in these specific versions of summer. In 12 season system they both would be typed as true/cool summer (light and soft were obviously off) but in 16 season system there was distinction between true season and cool subseason.
@@JuniperLittleTree You get a fan for your season after you have an in person color analysis consultation with a TCI analyst and discover your season. You can purchase them individually from True Colour International if you are sure of your season but they are around $80 because they are made with archival canvas to keep the colors true over time.
It's not *not* flattering, but on its own it doesn't quite provide the full amount of contrast we need to be in full bright winter glory. I wear all black A LOT, but I do notice it drags me down a bit. Even black and white can look a little harsh on a Bright Winter, where a True Winter can wear black and white fabulously. All black looks best on a Dark Winter who can handle the stark darkness of black. Bright Winters look their best with, well, brightness and more color. So for example, black with a pop of bright yellow or bright turquoise near the face would provide the right kind of contrast to really make a Bright Winter pop! Will do a video on this topic!!
@@BridgetCappel thank you for the info. I've been trying to figure out what kind of winter I am and separating what colours I like vs which ones genuinely look good on me. Both black and navy look about equally good on me but I'm finding if I add more pure colour it feels/looks better. On a different aside, I'm an INTP. I was surprised to see some MBTI content since I've only followed completely MBTI focused channels before, but it's nice
That was wild how pale her skin got around all those bright colors.
Completely washed her out!
u literally look like snow white omg
That is such a compliment, thank you!!

I’m thinking she’d be a gorgeous silver lady. Or ashy brown might be great

Grey is so so great for summers.
Yes! I ❤ grey !
I enjoyed this. I wouldn't put make up on my hubby but he is a TSu. My mom was a DA/DW mix, this would have been fun with her.
I like this!
Thank you!!

we need more videos!!
Mama’s gotta work to pay the bills- so if any of you watching want to learn to sing, hmu 🤙
Loved this! Mind telling us the brand and color of your lipstick? It looks like a coral version but for cools, and I love it!
You two are so sweet with each other! What lipstick and nail polish are you wearing? They are such juicy bright winter reds.
I believe the nail color was Pompeii Purple by OPI and the lipstick is Raspberry Rush by L’Oréal. LOVE raspberry rush- it’s such a juicy bright red!
I'm not sure if this has been answered somewhere else, but where did you get those great color fans?

My daughter is a Summer and I am Winter
That’s wonderful! Amazing how much variation there’s is even in families.
I’m supposed to be bright winter but I can’t wear that green either.
Thought I could be true summer but if the pink she has on is any idacation of true summer I'd lok so washed out in that pink

Mom needs less warmth in her hair .
Yes, Mom and I both agree! She said her hair stylist isn't getting it right!
You are talking like if you were diagnosed allergic
You mean to the colors? Yes I am allergic to colors that make me look ugly.
@@BridgetCappel in different colours you look differently, but never ugly
