Was watching the news this morning and heard them talk about someone winning a million on Wheel of Fortune. When they said the name "Sarah M." a teacher from Silver Spring MD I instantly recognized her as my eighth grade geometry teacher. Congratulations Ms. M. I cannot think of a more worthy teacher than you!

@@tmayorca8770 Florida schools don't teach geometry until 9th or 10th grade. Has nothing todo with north or south. Every state has its own curriculum.

yes that is how the puzzles work after they give you the original letters, you try to guess it from there and then choose your letters based on what you think it is, she was right! i'm so old i remember when they didn't give you rstln e it was just the letters most people chose !
I think the little boy screamed the loudest. I loved their reactions. I almost felt like I won a million dollars $$$$$$$$$ let's see a new car a better home and I'm broke again. I wake up and have nothing.

Awesome fantastic Congrats.
Because she's a normal regular person, much like you, and she participated on a game show and not just won, but won big. While you're very happy for her (as I am too) it makes us feel like something to that wonderful could happen to us one day as well. So it's happiness combined with hopefulness that makes us emotional.

When Pat revealed the prize, I shouted "SHE GOT IT!!", scaring everyone in the room, including my 5-month-old son, who I was rocking, he woke up then fell right back to sleep. What a win, congratulations!!!
i'm surprised he didn't build anyt suspense like he usually does (usually when a big win like this happens you can instantly figure out what the contestant won simply by the way Pat talks.)

Hit the million wedge, guess a correct letter, solve that puzzle, never hit bankrupt during rest of show, win the most amount of money on the show, spin it to that exact placement of the million dollar card on the tiny wheel, and guess the final puzzle.

Imagine dealing with kids everyday of your life and most of them don't give any respect to adults.....both my parents were teachers for 20 years and my dad has been for 35 and he spends more time working then many people who "work more" his summers are constantly full of school work so why don't you grow up and try it yourself before you start talking crap...
***** Most teachers actually work 11 months out of the year and do not get much in the way of annual leave that they can use during the year... You're clearly uneducated on the matter (something I find odd for a 13-y/o college student).

If you get a job as a teacher in a run-down Detroit high school. of course you will get paid little and work more. If you get a job in a thriving metropolis or area with large income, your life is going to be pretty good. Whether or not you are willing to migrate to a new location is the main factor.

3. Don't ever land on "Bankrupt"
4. Beat the other two contestants
5. Land on the million on the bonus wheel
6. Solve the bonus puzzle (always a hard one)
So... yeah. It's a momentous occasion for a reason.

4. AVOID ALL BANKRUPTS for the rest of the show

That's about as fair as they can make it considering it's a $1M prize. And they did a really good job with it given that only 3 people have won the million bucks on that show.
