I genuinely thought the second person would not have gotten the 7 points.
It's okay, they're just playing to make a video.
They did get the $20,000 though.
Exactly 🤣

Can we just talk about how this woman answered with "my baby" on the question about "riding something?"
i was confused about horse because i kept hearing steve say “rolled on” not “rode on” and then i eventually realized he was saying rode but even after realizing it it still sounded like “rolled” to me. I think she misheard him just like me 😂
@@anarchicbean5888 She wasn’t confused. Apparently she likes being on top.
I know ! LOL I wish they would have went over the answers lol
@@anarchicbean5888 what does "I still remember the first time I rolled on a ___ " even mean? Doesn't your brain convert what you hear to a sentence that makes sense?
@@Dynamice1337 No, I think rolling over on your baby is a huge fear, esp. the first few months because you're so tired and it's all new to you. It made perfect sense now that someone said sounded like rolled on. (I watch with captions so I didn't think of that.)
Not only did she get every #1 answer, she did it with 5 seconds left. That's one smart, confident young lady. She didn't hesitate or look rattled for even a split second.
She's gonna be a head of a company! If she isn't already lol
Come on now let's not be dumb D;
They GAVE her that win.
Must've needed the ratings.
That was THE EASIEST round I may have ever seen. Come on now Bro. Let's think for a second about the questions lol. With 100 family feud watching women giving the answers. Anybody but nerve wracked mom coulda got that.
those were the most common sense answers ive ever seen
Even her mom looked like she was panicking the entire time 😂
Especially on that first question, she answered before he finished!
Can we talk about how Courtney made that look SO easy. VERY sharp mind there, not to mention nerves of steel. NICELY DONE! 👍
The questions were easy but she did very well and made it look very easy.
@@dreigivetimpoolmassivewedg7646 it’s family feud. They’re always easy
@@Kat-qr7hv I felt they were extra easy even I would answer though then again stuff like this make me nervous
Can we talk about how fucking clickbaity this video was? "Then this.".... 99% of people would think the mom failed to get the remaining 7 points.
@@dreigivetimpoolmassivewedg7646 Blink and you'd miss it, but Mum's first question exposes how the whole thing was fixed. After "Shoes!" but before "Car", she said "Lingerie", which mysteriously triggered the 'try again' buzzer, the host whispering "Try again" and Mum muttering very quietly "Oh. No points". This family's win was guaranteed as soon as the cameras started rolling.
This gave me chills. I was so scared that the mom wasn't going to make it especially when she passed a question. It was so funny when she said , "Nice knowing you."☠😂🤣😅
When did she pass
@@DOMSHOMIT the third question. Name a type of dough...
@Never Comply_2A rights4life I'm hoping she was talking about her husband 😂
Yeah you are correct
Lol, I didn't expect car to be up there.
I’m so glad she got it, cause you could tell her nerves got the best of her!
What is your comment?
I don’t think it was a smart move to put someone up there who is nervous and perhaps a little dumb. Yes they were very lucky.
@@victorrossjr7157 She will be history if they're on again.
@@YourRoyalHighness88 I think it didn’t help that Steve made her nervous as well. Maybe if he just shut his mouth and said you need 7 points to win it would’ve calmed her. Instead of the disowning statement and being negative. But that’s TV for ya.
@@victorrossjr7157 Why the double standard comment, make up your mind.
What makes Courtney's run even more impressive was the second question, which was asking for an arbitrary number and she nailed it.
5 has always been the correct number on this show
I also guess 5 years as well. You know the answer would be in 5's, so I guess the number 2 answer would have been 10 years and not 6,7,8 or 9.
It honestly wasn't fair to her. She lost most of her time trying to understand how shoes and lenjerie are considered the same answer. Which is really confusing that they somehow lumped clothes all into one category.
Yeah. There’s no way lingerie should have been buzzed as a duplicate of shoes. That’s garbage.
@@bobculwell5375 It balances out. I still can't believe the guy who said one of the top answers to "things you rent on a vacation" was lamborghini. Well, yeah, the other 99 people actually said car, but he got the points for it.
@@sheboyganshovel5920 but a Lamborghini is a car. Unlike shoes and lingerie. They are not the same things.
@@bobculwell5375 Top-answer was 'clothing articles', hence shoes, lingerie etc is all duplicates.
That was my thought exactly. I guarantee, if I show up somewhere only wearing shoes, I'm getting arrested. Can you imagine going to court, looking at a judge and saying "well, according to the Family Feud Judge, clothes and shoes are the same thing!"
In all the years of watching FF, I've never heard such a deafening silence as when mom was finished with her answers. Holy moly. I think everybody knew her responses were rough!
Thank goodness mom's best answer was first so we didnt have to endure three or four zeroes.
Ditto!!! I was sweating it.
"deafening silence" lmao
Except that her first answer was actually lingerie, which was erroneously buzzed. I wonder if 7 people surveyed said lingerie.
@@lousialb8962 lingerie wasn't allowed because shoes was also lumped with clothes. Steve said number 1 answer -shoes+clothes.
There's the one family that was in the same situation here, but the second contestant didn't get the final 15 or so points. Everyone was completely shocked in silence while Steve read the questions along with five buzzes coming in.
I felt so bad for that poor lady. Not to mention that her main issue was she repeated 3 of the 5 previous (good) answers. She just couldn't get any good second answers which is lowkey pretty difficult sometimes
Courtney was so calm and collected. She killed it!
It also didn't hurt that the questions were not from a Mensa exam.
@@justafanintexas7913 I don’t think the people on Mensa could get 5 #1 answers correct on the spot, so Courtney is still very impressive.
@@henrytep8884 - Different types of questions. Have you tested for Mensa? By the way, she isn't the first to do it, either. During the Richard Dawson Era it was done 9 times.
@@henrytep8884 I agree that it was impressive.
Yea, she killed it for sure!
It’s even funnier because Steve was joking in the beginning with the bad news and the family disowning her if she doesn’t get 7 points😂
Steve is so super smooth
He was trying to unnerve her. Glad she came through anyway.@@herrp8765
The daughter was AMAZING! The mom was, clearly nervous. She "lucked out" with her answers.
They’re lucky because the rest of the answers were probably zeros.
Yes and Steve's accent is very difficult to understand. and there was wrong buzz for the first question when she answered lingerie!
So car don't deserve any point.
@@mehboobkm3728 it's clothes then as Steve said in the end that number 1 answer was clothes and shoes
Steve Harvey was not expecting any points from cars, and it has 26 points, look how upset he is.
My thoughts also
I've never felt so much stress, anxiety, fear and worry in 5 minutes. I thought the 2nd person gave all zero point answers. So glad they won...I can breathe! 😳😳😳
@AstroBoyRicardo You and me both! 😬 🫣
Praise God for blessing her! 🙏👏😂
I knew the car would get points but I thought for sure the rest would be zeros.
@@meganbarber3599 Except that her first answer was actually lingerie, which was erroneously buzzed. I wonder if 7 people surveyed said lingerie
Why? You know it's only like 20 thousand dollars anyway, right? It's like, that's not even enough money to get a new roof for a house today, let alone GET you a house.
Everyone in that studio, on the stage and watching on TV were all collectively 💩 their pants
I'll never forget June 1977 when on one show the first player answered every number one answer. She scored 193. The second player was a younger sister, mid-teens. She got all zeros. I felt really bad for her. The girl is now around 60 years old.

@@SimsMoyal Santa forgot about you or what?
Steve : “Fill in the blank- I remember the first time I rode on a blank”

Me : 😳
My guess is that she thought he was saying "I still remember the time I *Had* my first..."
I thought he said "rolled on" so the first time you are sleeping with your baby and you accidentally roll on top might be a lasting memory?
@@JoseFlores-xh5cj they phrase questions pretty stupidly sometimes. Like one time they asked name something people in hell... And a woman thought he said inhale. They should have anticipated that and asked it differently. Here it sounds like rolled on, so why not say took a ride on? No confusion there.
I think she misunderstood the question.
I know right??? Had to have not heard the questions right. Passed in dough. Bread dough!
Okay Family Feud, I see you. Got us thinking the mom wasn’t gonna get those seven points. Well played
I was like, "surely, she'll say 'bread' for dough, and that would be enough." when she said, "pass," I had lost all hope because in my head, I was expecting 'car' to be zero points.
Pizza was the first thing on my mind. Pizza dough. So simple.
I said bread!!!
Some questions have very 'easy' strong number one answers so it makes the second person's answers harder.Mom's nerves got to her for sure.
I was expecting the very first solo fast money win! Imagine Steve Harvey’s reaction if the first player got 200 or more all by herself! There were multiple solo fast money wins on the Dawson and ray comb era.
I dont think its possible anymore, the highest ever was 198 in the harvey era
They deliberately place in some questions that score less than 35-40 points at the top so the second player gets to play. I asked this question when I went to a taping.
Who knows they can rigged it.
I had seen 199 ,but don't remember when, but on YT

To be fair, the mother got most of the #1 answers as well and she was somewhat in a stressful position unlike her daughter
Yeah rethinking the first thing that comes to mind takes time these 5 seconds are nothing. Especially she wasn't allowed to say lingerie for her first answer. She said shoes first and then came up with lingerie that counted as the same🤨.
@@christianjung5583 What was that? Shoes are similar to lingerie? That seems really strange...

Are you sure about that? Q: Name something you remember the first time you rode on it. Mother: My Baby.

I seriously thought she wouldn’t get any points 😂😂
Thank goodness Mom covered the 7 points. I’ve seen people blow it before.
Wow! Courtney, did amazing. That is really truly hard to get all #1 answers!
Clean sweep!
We're not blind, we know.
The second player is a disaster, no points at all.
this show confuses me so much how is this hard? the answers are the most generic first thought answers ever like what!? we asked women what they get shopping "shoes" wow that wasnt the first thing on all our minds? and then like riding a horse like that and bike come to mind immediately but I feel like saying something less common like scooter but it just appears you think of the easiest most common answer and thats it!? for 20 k? how is this a challenge
Well, there was in Australia, a version of Feud hosted by famed entertainer Bert Newton in the early 2000's. Their version of Fast Money had a gimmick; where based upon the first player's answers, the second player goes for the money. If no #1's are given, it's AU$5,000. But if all 5 are given, the prize goes to AU$100,000. And on UA-cam there are a couple of instances where the 100K was won.
The way she reacted to knowing that there was only 7 points was clear as day she can’t handle an ounce of pressure. Especially when there wasn’t any! She was so scared of messing up something that easy she completely wet the bed. All you had to do was give subpar answers that just made sense
That's what I was thinking. If I only had to come up with 7 points I would have been so much calmer than having to come up with a bulk of the points.
OMG everybody was so quiet after the mom finished her answers... so glad they won tho!! i really thought her answers were gonna be all zeroes 😭
I too remember the first time I rode a baby. It was quite an altercation. Naturally it didn't hold up to my weight very well, and the mother was furious. And let me tell you, it was not fast enough to get us away from the cops. Yes I remember that day well.
Steve made mom even more nervous.
Yea I think his wording was a big contributing factor to the mother's nervousness she's only had to get one which is the only one I think she answered correctly because the rest of those answers weren't going to help, if she needed them I'm glad that she didn't need them tho...
“I remember the first time I rode on…”
“My baby”
Yes, Steve would have had a good time with "baby" as her answer. Considering time and her nerves he didn't do it. 🙂🙃

shoes and lingerie are NOT the same thing
Family Feud is a classic TV show. Every host has been iconic. Dawson. Anderson. Karn. Harvey. O’Hurley. But my favorite part of Family Feud has always been when the losing family comes out on stage to celebrate or offer condolences to the other family. Love it.
Shout out to Ray Combs!

Lingerie is far from being the same as or similar to shoes... WTH?!?
EDIT: Okay, they're saying clothes/shoes was the number one answer... still have no idea why, but whatever.

I know. That kind of caught me curious, too. But - i still feel like that's different.
Shoes would include boots, sandals, heels...etc.
Clothes would include shirts, coats, pants lingerie...etc.

Really?! I was unaware of this fact! They should really put it in the title or at least play the part where Steve says she got all the #1 answers
Was not expecting that outcome! 😂
You sneaky FF! lol
Why did Steve not accept her answer of lingerie in answer to the first one 🤔
Because clothing was the number one answer to the question. Shoe and lingerie are both considered clothing. There are judges in Steve's view, that gives him signals whether the answers are acceptable or not.
Exactly.... I was confused lol
Would have helped if the board said that instead of just "shoes". It should have said "clothes" or "clothes and shoes".

Love how the people on here are cheering for the mom to get that 7points and gave the fam that bag. I guess I stumbled into the good vibe side of you tube. Blessings to everyone on here!
I would really love to see how Steve would react to the first person getting all 200 points by his/herself. It has happened a few times when Ray Combs was host.
I'm sooooooo glad that she didn't get disowned from her family! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
This may make me seem old, but back in the day when I was a kid and Richard Dawson was the host of Family Feud, the fast money prize was then $20,000, as it is today. Richard Dawson was hosting the show in the 1980s. $20,000 was a nice chunk of change back then. Today, not so much with what things cost today. Back in the 80s, a family of 5 could live a year off of that. Good luck in a family of 5 making it 3 months today on that amount. You would think then that the fast money prize would have increased with the times.
It's even worse in Family Feud Canada. The Fast Money prize there is only 10,000 CAD, which is a mere $7720 USD as I write this. Either they are stingy as hell up there, or else there is some kind of tax law they are taking advantage of (maybe prizes under 10,000 aren't taxed?).
In contrast, I understand all of the US Family Feud winnings are taxable income to the IRS. So that 20K USD may only be worth $13000 after federal/state taxes are paid on it.
But remember, the winning family gets to return up to 5 times if they continueto win. That family has a chance to win $100,000 and a new vehicle.
@@ericmookiegary Thank you. I used to wonder why the same family keeps coming back to playing the game. No wonder I am confused as I am watching from India.

I don't know why they counted clothes and shoes as the same answer, does that mean any article of clothing would have automatically been 41 points? That said, I'm not surprised that CAR got 26.
I can see how the mother was confused about the dough question. Coming at you quickly like the format does one may have thought the answer was about the ingredients and not what the dough was to make.
Too bad Steve didn't have the opportunity to play some humor off the "RIDE ON MY BABY" error.
Because the answer would probably be split too much. Like shirt 5 people said it, pants 2, socks 3, etc. See? Too much.
@@FireStormBaller Sure, though that's what I would expect. I still think shoes should be separate from clothing, it was confusing when she got buzzed twice.
@@FireStormBaller I mean, there's clothes... and then there's shoes. You can include shirts, pants, socks, into one answer but shoes are significant enough to be their category like jewelry or make-up.

It sounds great the first person got all #1 answers but as you saw it really makes the 2nd person's job hard. The mom kept getting the same answers and her 2nd choices sounded weak. I would never have guessed car was that high for example. Glad they won the money.
Car surprised me as well. I would have said bread for the kind of dough.
I wouldn't call it making the 2nd person's job hard when they need 7 points, it isn't like there's only one obvious answer for each question asked they are fairly open ended and have multiple answers you can reasonably give. The mom was just hella nervous when she has to give just one answer that isn't complete garbage, which car was in hindsight.
The first question threw her off when she said clothes then lingerie. It wasn't clear all clothes were off limits. She wasted most of her time with that.
In all the years the show has been on, less than five contestants have given all number one answers. Because of the rarity of one contest giving all number one answers, it should be that if one content gives all number one answers, the family gets one million dollars regardless if all the answers equal to two hundred points.
Or at least double their money when it happens. I'm surprised that getting all #1 answers doesn't total 200, making the second person unnecessary altogether.
