i love solis' design, so eye catching. her moves are so sharp and look like they hit like a truck. the rest of the roster designs are also pretty cool; fighting games with bonkers characters are the best ⚡
I have this for Saturn. Imo it quietly inspired SF3 series, Garou MotW, and KoF 99 and up, as well as Akatsuki Blitzkamfp and i forget the name but it was a fighting game developed by psikyo.
very underrated game and the best of the Gouketsuji Ichizoku series. also one of the best Saturn fighting games either. It also did all those crazy funny attacks before Capcoms Gem Fighter too.
@@Starwolf3578 that's not what the lore said I read. It said some bout not being canon fr just ten years in the future where Keith and Annie have Chris the white hair kid in the video
I really love the sprite work of the game. The Double Dragon plot twist of beating your own teammate/partner was rare. Honestly I don't know if This or X-Men vs Street Fighter came up with this concept first (or some other game)? The artist for the portraits also have done Power Instincts, other games, and anime like Blue Submarine No. 6, Last Exile, Shangri-La, etc. His name is Range Murata.
This game was the last timeline of Gouketsuji Ichizoku series after Matsuri the fifth game it take place distant future where Gouketsuji clan didn't held Goketsuji tournament instead it was held by Bristol Weller,Some characters was legacy of previous character like Chris was son of Keith and Annie and Popura was Kurara's daughter who take role of magical girl after her mother
I do believe there are 5 games in total in this series. Gouketsuji Matrimelee came after this one and then there was a fifth I played in Tokyo arcade in 2009; that one was called Gouketsuji Ichizoku Matsuri Senzo Kuyou. But I agree that the third one was the best of the bunch. Still, I loved that in the fourth one you had a referee in almost every match and you could use him as an improvised projectile.
have you tried getting an updated romset for mame? as far as i know most games that run on this arcade system run pretty smoothly, even on lower end computers. if you're having no luck with mame i believe this was also released on saturn!
This game seems like a big downgrade from the second one. The high energy, colorful backgrounds are gone and replaced with drab, dark areas with little to see. The characters are ok, and the designs are cool, but this game is lacking the charm the second one had.

Range Murata? damn, what a fine designs
the best.
Love your channel man, keep the good work!
Thank you 😊

Daraku Tenshi or The Falling Angels

Absolutely

So what's this like spin off power instict

@@michaeljefferson7316 well I don't know much about the game's story I just know because I read about it on the game's wiki
What an eccentric fighting game. It is very Atlus though, the final boss even summons Beelzebub.

This came after X-Men vs Street Fighter. Groove on Fight was very unique for it's time.

I love how the AI "fights" the credits at the end, that's one of the more creative credit rolls I've seen.
That's not an AI. You play it yourself.
I fuckin love the 'slap' of the tag in
This game looks so sick, I wish they would remake games like this, sprites and all
Solis has the best female cop costume ever.
Who here doesn't love that sexy cyborg Solis R8000? 😘
OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS? This is RAW AS HELL 😁
Totally different in style and graphic from previous Power instincts games but still worth to be played
Always love Solis
Solis outfit would make a great skin for a female SF character.
The art and settings give me Daraku Tenshi vibes.
0:45 Chunk a dunk... Check It Out! (It's like their answer to 90's KOF, guilty gear and darkstalkers...)
Atlus needs to make fighting games again!
Magnífico ❤️
I was thinking they are only a part 1 & 2 in the series. Man I'm missing out

@@FourthMan82 thank you
@@FourthMan82 dude this game is already weird. Is this the sequel to Power Instinct 1 and 2 because the graphics don’t compare to this!
So this basically Atlus' answer to Guilty Gear.
Blue Submarine No. 6 artist?
豪血寺一族
I remember this cover girl
Overall, it looks really good.. first time seeing this game..
Wow that's awesome 😊😊😊
Ok....8:07, i see what granny #1 is doing but what us granny #2 doing ???😂😂🤣🤣
Hey loading, you can try next the game battle Typhon, is a cool fucking underrated game very interesting.
Never heard of it 🤔 this the first time I SS it
Boy this game is wild. I love the graphics but it got weird with two old ladies smooching you and a weird Otaku fan girl with cartoony powers.
The charaters look like last exile anime characters...
Same illustrator
@@hasi706 Ohhh...

Wait is that OBATA'S artwork??
Do you have a Android versión to play?

Game looks fun. Why wasn't it ported over to consoles?
It was ported on Saturn but it wasn't released in the West.
@@Hektols was the Arcade Version not released in the West either?
Es muy parecido al intro de street fighter 3 third strike
The music doesn't sound right... (Btw that's an emulation issue, it's better to use mednafen or kronos)
To think you almost lose just wow

I'm pretty sure that was the point of the game, it takes place in the future.
not a mame game
Fucking love this game. I felt sf3 ripped a lot from this. CHANGE MY MIND!
