I have the same problem, brand new pc, but my xbox controller doesn't bring up anything once plugged in. I wanted the controller so I could lean back in chair while playing, I guess my back will have to continue to suffer, thanks xbox!
Hello, I have the same issue also, however I use Bluetooth plug called ( tp-link Bluetooth 5.0 nano USB Adapter UB500), it work by putting the USB Adapter to USB plug and you can connect the Xbox device with Bluetooth instead of using a wire. to be honest some time and that is rare it disconnect my Xbox controller but only for few seconds (less than 5 sec). Just before you buy it make sure it will work on your PC.
Im also following this, im on windows 10 and using my xbox one controller, i have previously used this with no problem but now it is currently unavailable. i cannot even find it in my device manager so i can check if the drivers are updated
Yah I'm trying to update drivers, the problem is that it requires to be wired to update, and well it's not detected seeing the problem? I am able to play with Bluetooth though...
Yo man, no fix since! In fact, when I tried to plug the contoller into my Xbox One, it still didn't work. So something is wrong with the controller for sure. I can't exactly say the same for my SUB ports.
@@YourBoyAlex Sorry to here that man my issue is the new series x controller and i connected it to my xbox then as soon as i plug it back into the pc it dissconnects and it is soo damn frustersterating especially because im trying to play elden ring

Have you checked if you have proper drivers updates installed? Does the controller get listed if you hit windows button+r and type in devicemgmt? if it shows but it has a yellow questionmark it means you need to update the driver
As a matter of fact, I actually tried the "windows button+r" fix, but the controller option didn't show up like it was supposed to. So that didn't work. And as far as my drivers go, I should probably check that soon. Good idea.
I wonder do you play video games? Cause it looks you stole that wired Xbox controller from either Game stop or Best buy? I should call the cops on ya. 😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😜😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😝😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Xbox 360 works but not this xbox one controller
Did you fix it?
Nope! It won't work on my Xbox either. I'll have to get a new controller.
