@@Bharat_the_earth_owner Yes, basic high school physics does help in understanding simple phenomenon in our day to day life but you can't go on and calculate stuff using class 11th and 12th physics in this non-ideal world and completely non-ideal scenarios. High school physics taught to students is quite an approximated version of physics with a lots of assumptions. In reality, there are many variables involved in calculations and you can't neglect all of them assuming everything to be ideal.

The thing I hate about engineering people is they think they can do everything and not engineering as if it's the toughest thing to do on planet. While comments like yours which makes a demand to worship you people. If you truly believe every profession is equal there is no point in self praise and how important your work is. Your work isn't going unrecognised and unnoticed. Still a constant demand for praise. "The smart phone you use is the BRILLIANCE AND Hardwork of skilled engineers". Really? A good reason why we say SCIENCE DID X,Y,Z and not engineers doing X,Y,Z. This way you can bring everyone's contribution.
Physics today is more theoretical and dives into research and academics, whereas engineering is mostly application of physics principles, not discovery . Engineers can join industry or academia . It's applied physics and real life problem solving. Core physics today like quantum mechanics, astrophysics, particle physics, theoretical physics,high energy physics,cosmology are all deep theoretical research fields , though condensed matter physics and more are applied too

That's literally me... Lemme say how, so a long story short
I am having like next level love for astrophysics and wanted to be a scientist at NASA and guess what, I cleared the first milestone i.e. getting into the best college of india i.e. St. Stephen's Colg which is under DU but before that one of my relative brainwash my dead and suggested him to go in the vicious clutches of NEET / JEE bullshit and to take admission in Allen. Yes i left my St. Stephen dream and left the dream of becoming an astrophysicist and wasted my 1 year in preparing for f*cked up NEET and guess what ? I failed 🙃idk why but my preparation was top notch but on the main exam i f*cked up but i had Math as well during my 12th so i got into a top NIT and did my civil and got a job in a top notch company in india but still i somewhat feel the pain of leaving my dream of becoming a scientist...
Happened with me too. I have shifted 2-3 careers and now doing a Bachelor's after 8 years

@@KDsa-gu3jb you have multiple options according to me... You can either do your UG from one of the ivy's or any top university either from england or america...
But if you want to take a bit scary route then it's doing your engineering taking CSE or ECE as your branch then get recruited in ISRO then you can get some experience and try getting into NASA...
PS - you still should consult to many future study planners who can guide you step by step

I have engineering degree. But I enjoy working on physics problems. So, because of engineering, we have dams, bridges etc. I consider myself somewhat failed engineer, but that is not engineering degree's fault.
