- King Charles III met leaders of the Commonwealth realm at Buckingham Palace in London on Saturday ahead of the late queen's state funeral, which is likely to be one of the biggest ceremonial events ever held in Britain.
King Charles separately held talks with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness and Bahamian Prime Minister Philip Davis.
There has been an outpouring of emotion across the U.K., and the world. There have also been 10 days of choreographed events since the queen died at her summer estate in the Scottish highlands after 70 years on the throne.
Nearly 100 presidents and heads of government will attend Monday's funeral ceremony.

Being truly British means being a Royalist and respecting the Royal family and trying to follow the good they demonstrate. Those who saying he is not their king is living in the wrong country. Thanks to Trudeau for making the queens funeral only important for government workers. My work didn’t do anything to honour her. My EI payment is also delayed by two days so I won’t be eating till the government workers go back to work. Disgusting and horrible this wasn’t a holiday for all Canadians to pay their respects.

I wrote to the Queen from Winson Green Prison when bad judges were bullying me on the bad advice of racist narcissistic hateful pigs in the Crown Courts System. Consequently I was taken back to court and Judge Buckingham was appointed on my case. I got out with my own bail application that was denied to me in court and in prison. I rang home and my mom sent me four bail applications and four 1st class stamps. Judge Buckingham looked at the case and said go home Mr H. The Queen is the last true lady of her kind and I am gonna miss her. She said thanks for writing to her from prison. Unfortunately I still got probation and had to pay a fine. None the less I was due six weeks in prison, I did two. While I was in there I spread a rumour about a new Black Plague and months later covid hit. I promise I didn't know.
