Ustad Amir Khan's signature style is displayed here, as in every other performance of his - his slow and leisurely exposition of the raga. This style was invented by Ustad Abdul Wahid Khan of Kirana. Though Amir Khan was never a direct student of Abdul Wahid Khan, he picked up the style and perfected it. When the much senior Wahid Khan heard young Amir Khan, he blessed him. Amir Khan is the undisputed master of this style to date.
