Wizard 101: Duel against Desperation

Death Wizard Beats Desperation.
To defeat Desperation, unleash your inner Myth wizard.
1) Stack 3 feints
2) Cast 3 Shatter spells
3) Stack enough traps to do 19,000 points of damage as a one-hit
This boss has a high resist, so anything to help you pierce its armor could help.
The Shatter TC is rare in the Bazaar. Fortunately, there is also a no-shatter strategy. Desperation occasionally casts Celestial Intervention that can destroy three of it's shields or absorbs. Try casting your feint spell and follow immediately with a Pierce spell to remove the protection. In a rare circumstance, Desperation will cast Celestial Intervention and remove its own frozen armor. Just pack a lot of Pierce TC. You have time on this one.
Be patient. I've gotten four wizards (Balance, Fire, Life, and Death) past this boss. It's never a sure thing, but don't give up. Good Luck!
