Hi ! Nice video ! I was wondering how thick is the glass you are using for this ? Thanks.
They vary but “standard glass thickness” is around 7/32
Thank you ! :-)
Just found your channel. Your stuff so pretty
😭😭😭 ahhh omgosh thank you so much I am so so honored!
that's pretty cool, pretty
What is the make/brand of your solder gun ? Thank you
I use a Weller
great tutorial, where can i buy the glass sheets ?
Sam Dunne you can get glass at stained glass shops. or if u are just practicing u can try it on the glass from picture frames or mirrors from thrift shops. it's a great way to practice cheaply. if u don't have a stainedglass shop. u can order online. or if u can't find any I will have glass pieces & scraps available for people to purchase. I am just getting together mystery boxes with a bunch of variety pieces for people to play with. good luck! u will love it!
Mia Lovez thanks for reply however its difficult to find colorful glass with texture but i will google it , if you know good shop in uk i will appreciate your recommendation
How do you not get cut by the glass you are cutting?
awesome!!!
very nice
hi there. I'm not creative at all. Do you have templates of your different feathers please. mine will end up looking like dead fish if I had to draw it myself. Thank you
I actually draw out all my feathers, BUT you could print out a drawing of one and use that as a template
Thank you. who knew I could draw my own feather but u did. lol
Must wear glasses
❤❤❤
You need to move your glass up a little so we can see what you are working on and the music makes it hard for someone to hear you.
DYI Cutting glass witjout Any Kind of Protection! No thanks. You must to think how many people dont have the same experience and They Can Cut Easily.
Hey love, actually I do write in my description to take the right precautions, saftey glasses, gloves, it is glass... I think all that is self explanatory . I am showing you how I make them. When you take a glass cutting class, they do not have you wear gloves, at least the ones at the universities here, If you want to you can. You are working with glass and hot irons & lead always take safety precautions
I learned how to work with stained glass when I was 15, and gloves were discouraged because you lose dexterity. Stained glass isn't the cheapest craft to get into, so strong consideration will clearly be taken by individuals before they dive in and start. I can say personally that I've been hurt much worse by hot glue guns and paper crafting supplies than I ever have by working with stained glass.
