This is really helpful and thank you. Now I can almost speak fluent Korean KWOW and Talk To Me In Korean have been the two main sources of this outcome! Thank you! Keep the good work up because there is a lot of people who appreciate your work. Gamsahamnida! :)
I just started learning Korean at the beginning of this year but I found a lot of great sites. I've learned that 밥 means 'cooked rice' but it can also mean 'food' or a 'meal'. The word for uncooked rice is 쌀. I've seen other words like '음식' used for food.
I'm teaching myself Korean using a workbook & online stuff like this & I just learned about this! :D PS, thank you for these videos! They're really helpful :3
I listen to all kinds of foreign music, not just kpop but kpop is so good that it kind of takes over all the other music I listen to! I used to listen to a lot of Spanish music and I was studying Spanish but with kpop, ttmik and kwow, learning Korean is suddenly easier than learning Spanish. I'm on level 2 lesson 9. Good luck!
@sweetandtasty Excuse me! Would you mind if I made a request? I'm going to be visiting South Korea (Seoul) next month for a tour and to shop...So I was wondering if you could teach us some useful phrases to use when shopping? Please and thank you!
I definitely think you can read and write full sentences if you check out talktomeinkorean. Type them into youtube or go to their website (type into google). It's my favorite site and I can write full sentences now. I've still got a way to go but I can use conjunctions like "그리고 , 그래서 and 그렇지만". There are also sites like "interpals" where you can practice with native Korean speakers. TTMIK also has a hanguel wiki page. I started listening to kpop and then I became of fan of Eat Your Kimchi...
Because when a syllable ends in a consonant and the next syllable begins with a consonant, there is no adequate way to pronounce the one said ending consonant so it is unreleased meaning that you articulate it without releasing air making SS sound like T.
Thank you Professor Oh! I felt, so cool when I saw the title of video because I already knew how to say this. Yay for my Korean learning! Yay for OUR Korean learning!!
When you said the part about if you have/dont have money, why in one sentence was money worded "don" and the other "doneun"? :O im confused! Is there a significant difference between those two?
Maybe I can help. "은/는" are topic marking particles. Korean has a lot of particles (subject marking, object marking, etc). By adding that "은", he's saying "I have other things but money is what I don't have." It's a way to emphasize the topic.
they are the same word but the voice inflection goes up like a you are asking a question for the do you have version...otherwise exactly the same word.
Hi~!!! can you please do a video the difference between "ㅔ" and "ㅐ" whenever i write i get confused between these two because they sound the same TT.TT Love ur videos!! :)

thanks @igotsprinklesWhat for ur reply.. hey me too! i meant i started learning hangukmal early this year too..ouh the things that i have done n will do for kpop ;P but yeah, i'm loving the language now, not just becos of kpop.. i can now write and read it (slowly), but i think i wont be able to write full sentences by just learning from the net..sigh~ wut about u?
Fair enough, i looked it up and the definition didn't seem to match, but i think i'm making a mistake of questioning Korean Grammar using English Grammar logic, which have different terms >< I'm not hating either, just curious
Hey viewers, let's not forget to 'Like' Professor Oh's videos. We watch them regularly and they're super helpful, but the likes never balance with the views and the comments.
