Thank you for this! I know Spanish and Japanese but I might work somewhere where many of the employees speak Korean, so I'd like to know at least some basics. This was super helpful! I can't wait to learn Korean once I've gotten my Japanese up to college level.
it means OMG .. u can use it when something or some one scares you .. same meaning as " aigoo " but i think "omo" is used for a more scary things , places , setuations ..etc

This video was more information dense than I first thought it would be with how silly it is. I like that a lot, you were able to balance frivolity with utility quite skillfully
Ohh,i was wondering what "sunbae" means for so long. And you posted the video on my birthday and with my favorite character Taekwon Do oppa~ *looking around for Billy Jin* She's not here that means...TAEKWON DO OPPA SARANGHAEYO~ *heart* Thank you so much~ This was like a birthday gift for me. ^__^
Check out some of the earlier videos. This is #47, so that's been covered already. I like to go back to the other videos every now and then, to remind myself of what I've learned.
@emogirlhashervengz that word is used when speaking and you're saying "Wait!" (like when the other person is talking and you interuppt them and say wait, like 'stop speaking') don't get this confused with "gidalro". that word is used when saying "Wait!" (like Wait For Me!) hope i helped!
sweetandtasty, please teach us about topic/subject particles, like eun or neun. These particles are really important, but people have no knowledge about them, so please teach us! Thank you!
THANK YOU Sunbae! Kkk I wonder if I will ever stop watching your videos, you're too funny and helpful and pretty and handsome, LoL. Oh yeah, next week,,,maybe one of these Wednesdays you can talk about "Before you did something and After you did something"

eobso (없어 INFORMAL, 없어요 Casual Formal, 없습니다 Very formal 없다 Dictionary form) generally means "there isn't" (it literally means 'it doesn't exist'). but it may also mean that you don't have something. eg "돈이 없어서 선물을 사지 못해요" (I don't have money so I can't by a present) It can also imply the inability to do something (_ _ㄹ 수 없어요), but that is usually done with "_ _지 못해요"
I'M WATCHING A DORAMA CALLED LOVE RAIN.. AND IN THE 2 EPISODE JANG GEUN SUK'S CHARACTER SAYS SOMETHING LIKE "LOVE MEANS YOU DONT HAVE TO SAY YOU'RE SORRY" CAN YOU TEACH US HOW TO SAY/WRITE IT AND HOW TO SAY OTHER THINGS LIKE THAT?
Hey there Professor!!!! May I ask, how did korean count their age? I always see the debate about kpop stars age whether they are younger or older. Like A Pink and B.A.P, so are they even legal to work 24/7??
Could you do a lesson on how to say things like: I, you, they, them, us, we, a, are, and things as such? It would be helpful to know how to say them properly when I talk to my friends in korean. n_n
i don't know if you gonna answer me >_< but for example in kpop, if two groups debut in the same year but one debut one or two month earlier, it's still considered sunbae to the other group who debut after? sorry my English and if it's confusing xP
+liliana rubi And a year later, you get answered! My understanding is that if the difference is a month or so then normally sunbae does not apply; normally it is used when there is a calendar year difference, so if one group debuts in July 2012 but another debuts in August 2012 they are not sunbae/ hubae, but if one debuts in December 2012 but the other debuts in January 2013 then they use sunbae/hubae. You see the same thing with using older brother/sister terms with non-relatives; Billy Jin and Professor Oh call each other chingu, so they are probably born same calendar year.
Ok so what if the person you are in school with was there before you but you are in the same grade because I’m new to my school and she’s been for a year before me so do I call her sunbae? Is sunbae a unisex term?
magnae = the youngest among a group of people ,, it's a simple words and only a few episodes are left for kwow to end .. Please teach us more important things oo !!
