This is the best Razor's Edge Demo MN run I've seen on UA-cam so far.
Straight up Ninja Gaiden-style playing with no gimmicks. Lovely!
Not like the rest of these mothers with the Steel On Bone exploits and whatnot.
I like that you showed the parts where you died, too. No bullshitting the people looking to be inspired by your vids.
    Be proud, friend.
    Your skills are legend!

The other UA-cam videos show people relying too much on baiting enemies in order to set up the SoB to take out multiple enemies easily, and with that, it's an exploit. The few SoBs you see here are mostly because the flawed combat system triggers SoB without one even trying part of the time.
Meanwhile, this cat is fighting straight with combos and evasion, and kicking ass without the gimmickry. It's beautiful, and NG at its purest.

It's not an exploit, that's exactly how the mechanics of SoB are supposed to work.

What combo are you using to dismember the purple demons?

See, this whole thing started because people wanted to critique the EXPLOITS seen in this video.
I was one who praised the player because he S-ranked Ayane's level without EXPLOITING (ok, or SPAMMING) the (IMHO) poorly-implented SoB gimmick.
Another showed up to tell me that SoBs were not an exploit, which did not make sense to me because clearly they are, especially in the context of scoring high and obtaining Kasumi in the demo.
"Bugs and glitches are "MADE" by players now? Since when?!

where did you find the 4th scarab. rather how. I saw where it is on another video for the full version, but it's inaccessible in the demo. invisible wall in the way...

WTF are you even trying to say there?
Look, some of the other vids featured people relying too much on the SoB EXPLOIT (because they're relying on it to the point of doing nothing else but SoB) in order to boost their score, where here he's simply killing, using SoB sparingly.
My goodness, this doesn't have to even be a discussion.
The person using Ayane kicked massive amounts of ass, got an S Rank, and barely used SoB, 'nuff said.

No, I've got exploit down. How you chose to use it is not reflective of how you're meaning for it to "be" now.

The fact remains that the game's design is a bit poor. Combat is primarily built around taking advantage of SoB instead of strategic combos, de-limbing, and OT/UT opportunities. Team Ninja recognized the fact that they fucked up the first time, and they sought to fix it. They mostly succeeded in making NG: RE feel cohesive, but you still have the jumping jack zombie enemies the dodge and block everything, mostly because the game is built around taking advantage of them trying to grab at you.

    Is English your first language?
    Doesn't seem like it.

Reinterpreting the wrong thing you're saying is not going to make it any more right.
Again, an "exploit" in noun form is something of which one takes advantage, correct? In verb form it is something someone does, correct?
Did we not just sit and watch the same video where the player BARELY relied on SoB i.e. he did not take advantage of the game's inherent (poorly-implemented, IMHO) EXPLOIT?!
I do not need your makeshift explanation of what constitutes an "exploit."

"Abusing" is not something I've heard during a gaming conversation unless someone was discussing cheats or someone getting their ass whipped in a fighting game or something.
Please, please, PLEASE, quit playing a know-it-all Brainy Smurf-type in my presence.
"Abuse" is the same thing as an "exploit" if relied upon repeatedly. We're talking singular and plural now.
If you would kindly cease with the weak attempts at semantic arguments that'd be swell, k. Sheesh!

So, you thought that dropping a bunch of gamer jargon would bolster your argument?
    So did the other guy.
Please, just look up the word "exploit" followed by "abuse," then "glitch" (which is EXACTLY what you calling an "exploit"), and quit playing petty UBERGAMERZ in my presence.
In "gamer" parlance, the word "exploit" has always meant something within the game that is beneficial intentionally, while "glitches/bugs" usually mean something that is either beneficial or detrimental.

You look up the word "exploit" and get back to class, 'cuz you missed a lesson.
In the real world and gaming parlance, the word "exploit" is something available of which one takes advantage.
It gets no plainer than that.
You're confusing "glitch" with "exploit" or something, I don't know...
    Whatever, man.
