This was a unique store with an interesting history. I don’t see this KMART building ever being repurposed. It will either be knocked down with the rest of the plaza or rot for years. These Directors Cut videos are awesome! Fire Content Baby! R.I.P Edwardsville KMART!

The store on the other end seen at 17:58 was a Redners Warehouse Markets. It never reopened after the flooding. Kmart was the only store in that center that remodeled and came back.

I actually went there on the last day it was open and explored it a few months ago! The M fell off the sign, and it was super empty on the last day.

back in the day kmart had a deli, garage to get your car done, restaurant, i still have a bathing suit from a super kmart i got back in 2008.
