I love the clashing sounds in the beginning. It’s like they’re fighting in an arena filled with warriors hitting their weapons on the ground while chanting.
I was expecting an announcement from Penguin gladiator style when I heard the swords clash.

Growing up watching Slade as a complete MENACE in Teen Titans to then getting to play this game in my adolescent years as a young, primed Batman going up against Slade was a full-circle dream come true.
This boss fight was everything I imagined and more. THIS is how I always envisioned Batman vs. Slade in ANY form of media.
We need that batfleck movie 😭

Seriously though, Arkham Knight left me feeling ROBBED. I would have preferred a re-hashing of the Arkham Origins fight over the flipping tank battle
they could've made deathstroke a top tier boss
Phase 1, he comes at you with the tank. you stop it and he jumps out. normally it ends here
Phase 2. he pulls his Pole and you go at it like in Arkham Origins. Batman knocks his mask off here
Phase 3. he equips pistols and starts shooting. you need to do a predator takedown on him, adding stealth into the fight
Phase 4 is the final. Slade pulls the sword and clashes similar to how he did in Origins. only this time it takes less hits. batman does not have his shock gloves anymore. but his experience makes up for it

Although, correct me if I'm wrong, but you didn't get the shock gloves until after the Deathstroke fight in Origins. You took out the Electrocutoner before the fight (cuz he had a glass jaw) but didn't get the gloves until the hotel sequence much later
@@Twilitparadox You get the shock gloves in the hotel, after Joker kills Electocutoner.
Deathstroke deserves his own game we get paid as we beat bosses to get money we could kill or spare them

Imagine Robert Pattinson Batman fighting Deathstroke as he was hired by Penguin or some other villain in Batman’s Rouges gallery. He appears many times throughout the film unexpectedly to try and kill the Bat.

Sometimes I think Rocksteady did Deathstroke dirty in Knight just because he got so much praise in the Arkham game the main team didn't make

Not Bane, AO Bane was peak Bane, Deathstroke would have to fight very very hard to beat him and even then he'd only have a very slight chance

@StarkSpider24 I put in "batman deathstroke theme opening" and got a 1 hour version by Ace RayZ if you scroll a bit down. Hopefully you can forgive the lack of an extra 9.
As someone who has played every Arkham game I must admit the games before knight had better music in my opinion
A shame too cause Nick Arundel composed Asylum and City. However, the difference with Knight is he didn't have Ron Fish collaborating with him. Ron composed the memorable Mr. Freeze boss fight along with a few others. His presence is sorely missed in Knight.

bro those sound effect made that gameplay one of the most BADASS moment in the game
Seriously though, it was so different hearing the armor getting hit and rustled around while battling but I loved the sound effects for it showing how deathstroke was more trained.

Nah the cloud burst is worse and it’s not even close. Unless I just don’t understand that fight or I’m missing something. (Although to make it clear I’m not saying the cloudburst is better. It’s just harder to me)

i loved arkham origins, hardest bosses ive dealt with and id say its with city on the best arkham game, knight lost my liking with the bad boss fights (if you wanna call those bosses)

AO was an amazing game. But DS should have been sprinkled throughout the game, and not regulated to a section at the beginning of the game. Should have been the main assassin.
I respectively disagree, he was perfect and Bane deserved the spotlight
