@@breakhammer87 lol there is no replacement for the sheer strength most strongmen possess. In the case of Puds particular build he was way ahead of his time. It would be nearly impossible to avoid him in a confined space and he had the cardio to back it up.

@@benedictyeong746 He loved (still does) his physique. He never wanted to cover his muscles with fat. This is probably why he quit. He could have easily increase his RAW strength by getting fatter just like others but didn't want it.

It really annoys me how little respect Pudzianowski gets people always talk about Savickas, Shaw sure definitely greats but neither are 5 times winner yet and Pudzianowski was great to watch because he had a switch and when he switched on he was an animal and destroyed his opponents.
He was a 5 time winner because he didn't compete against any greats. Phil Pfister was his best opponent, and he came in and smoked Pudz in 2006, winning 5 straight events. Poundstone is a great Strongman, but his fatal mistake in 2008 on the last stone was the difference between gold and silver, even though we all saw the fact he was beating Mariusz on that last stone. Mariusz never won an Arnold's, and Poundstone has gotten both a win and a podium there. When Z and Shaw stepped onto the scene, it was over. No way was he beating them.

Strength is not just static but it is also power, explosion, speed, endurance, mental, how much and for how long you can handle a weight etc. Where as static is just pulling something up a foot. He was not one of the lightest. There have been several guys to compete at or under 300 lbs. Mariusz's prime was around 310 lbs.
