A great day, saved here as a wonderful memory! The way you’ve brought this together wow, loved every minute, especially being in nature with two beautiful humans! Looking forward to more adventures!
I also struggle with woodland photography and find the chaos intimidating. I also feel intimidated with a feeling that others might find my compositions boring /messy / unartistic etc but watching this video inspires me to just go and try and take what images are attractive to me. Thanks guys (and gal)
I was literally just watching Mr Heatons video and mentioning Mr Hardcastle and thinking there's not enough calaberation amongst photographers and has gone back to being very solitary......then this banger dropped. Excellent vlog. Its nice when people to get-together to shoot. I don't have any photographer buddies so I do like to watch others get together.
i live down in Kent but enjoy watching your videos .they have inspired me to get out more after suffering a bout of depression and photography keeps me going . thank you
Looks like it was a fantastic day, full of adventure, intrigue talented photography insight and good laughs. This is exactly what a landscape photography experience should be like. 😂
Yes you can say Oriental...@brock_in_the_north I agree that there should be more cooperation amongst photographers and not competition. As always, excellent vlog and one day hope to live up to the standard you have set forth! Cheers!
Stunning! Three great landscape photographers having fun together, taking beautiful pictures. Adam, carry on with the formula! Once you have shown the pictures of all three of you, it saves watching time, that you can spend outdoors with camera instead. Great video!
Yep, I bet that was a lot of fun. Mali's infectious excitement for woodland is great to be around. I recall when we went to Holme and he exploded at a particular point! Nice to see Verity joining with you guys too. Enjoyed that Adam
Thanks Adam for this. A tiny part of me is envious that I was not out on a day like this in such company, but the vast majority of me is more grateful that you shared the adventure for us all to enjoy. It was very much needed in these sad times. And I did learn a thing or two about woodland photography from all three of you. I think the odd numbers of trees, rather than even numbers is a big take away for me. And I loved Mali’s idea for the wooden frame around your photograph of the moss-covered oak branches juxtaposed with the straight birch trees in the background. Thank you!
Brilliant and genuine chemistry between the three of you. Unlike some other collaborations I've seen, nothing about your interactions felt forced, just three photography friends out enjoying a morning. Great location to. Was it a nature reserve or country park?
Wow, that was brilliant. That’s what I look forward to when you’re taking photographs. It’s the passion and excitement of being with the like-minded people, I just got the the true excitement of seeing the light change. It doesn’t matter that it’s raining. It’s just the excitement and keeps you going. I just love in the adventure. Thank you for sharing.
What a wonderful vlog! Watching three people with photography brains working the same patch is fascinating. I particularly enjoyed Vem's lens-cap-in-the-mouth technique 😆
As company goes, think you would be hard pressed to beat that. Great synergy coming through this one Adam and the images all 3 of you shared were beautiful.
You got some nice pics, but there are so many secret places on your secret location that you wouldn’t believe. I’ve been going there for forty years and haven’t discovered it all yet.
What a fantastic video and I like the way that all three of you bounced off each other. I have now changed my mind about woodland photography and want to go out and try again. Thanks Adam.
Very enjoyable. Nice that you all made something from a difficult and challenging day. Inspiring. From a very wet New Forest. Birches and bracken surrounded by pools of water.
How ? Just how do you get that sort of canvas finish image ? For example, at 15.00 the image does not match the finished version shown at 15.05. Surely that’s an A.I. Job.
That was Mali's image and I have to say his final product captured the experience of seeing it in person perfectly. Personally, I just slide the texture and clarity slider to the left a bit. On these images I also used the 'Select Subject' mask in Lightroom which was interesting and I used that to cancel out the reduction in texture and clarity on the rest of the picture. It's basically the artist using the elements to intentionally drive attention to certain points of the image.
I've bookmarked this to watch it again another time soon.. what a fun format you've created with this vlog Adam, such a fun dynamic with the three of you, and you're right, Mali's enthusiasm is infectious, and we'd love to see Verity doing more collaborations with you - what a great feel good moment, and some great images to boot - please keep producing this format a few times a year - this one was huge fun.. cheers, @dez_blanchfiield
Love the genuine passion and excitement from Mali! Great images, too - especially your one of the oak! Lovely video, Adam. 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Wonderful video. Nice to see the human side of photography. It doesn’t have to be perfect to be perfect.
Now that looked like a whole bunch of fun
Great shots too Adam
Bravo
Thanks Darren

Great video this morning with a wonderful group, would love to see more like this. Have a great week Adam.

Yeah. I crave spending time with other great photographers and it doesn’t happen often enough. I cherish the moments like this when it does.
Living in Arizona I miss the damp and the fall colors in my part of the state, thanks for taking me along

Absolute fantastic video. Love the enthusiasm and the comradeship. And of course, the pictures are wonderful
Cheers dude.
I think each of you is as good as one another. One think that Mali does better than you though is swearing! 🤣🤣
You all bounce off each other so well. Looked like a grand day out 😊
Cheers Richard
Who needs friends when you have photographers? Great images and video and looking forward to weekend in North Scotland capturing the colours of Autumn
Awesome. Enjoy.
Verity has an excellently dry sense of humour.
What fun! And some pretty images as well.. great job on the video. Regards, Ron

Yes it was! Although it was actually me who invited myself along on their planned outing.
seems like you had a lot of fun. I might be a bit jealous.
Hopefully will be a round 2
Great video Adam👍
Thanks mate 👍
That looked so much fun, Adam, certainly fun to watch. Beautiful looking location and beautiful images - great stuff 🙂🙂

Thanks for this comment. Really appreciate your time and thoughtful feedback.
Adam, as a nature photographer I often wonder if my 'elevators stops at all floors' based on the conditions and times I go out. lol
Brilliant and genuine chemistry between the three of you. Unlike some other collaborations I've seen, nothing about your interactions felt forced, just three photography friends out enjoying a morning. Great location to. Was it a nature reserve or country park?

Thanks Jim. They are both brilliant people to spend time with.

That’s very true. I saw about 10 new things I’d not seen before. Incredible how different it looks through the seasons too.
Awesome images and great video. It has inspired me to pick up my camera and go take more images
That’s so good to hear and what this channel is all about.
Brilliant stuff, Adam. As someone who goes out shooting with Mali regularly, I can definitely attest to his infectious enthusiasm!
Cheers mate.
BTW, the link to Mali’s channel doesn’t work.
Thanks Peter, I've sorted that now. Uploader messed up the link for some reason.
What a fantastic video and I like the way that all three of you bounced off each other. I have now changed my mind about woodland photography and want to go out and try again. Thanks Adam.
Thanks. I can't stay in the wood all day though, I need a view eventually.
Very enjoyable. Nice that you all made something from a difficult and challenging day. Inspiring. From a very wet New Forest. Birches and bracken surrounded by pools of water.
Thanks Carol. Waiting for the rain to hit again up here in the next couple of days.
On the rock picture...what was your f-stop and iso? Just a curious question
F11 I think. Played around with a bigger aperture but in the end preferred the bigger depth of field.
What is the epidemic song that plays in the last portion of the video of the tree through the outro? its lovely!
It's not from Epidemic. It's Dan Phillipson.
Which song name? I can't find it :( @@Firstmanphotography
Lovely Pics But Won’t Your Camera Get Ruined❓It’s Covered In Rain Drops 😱
Thanks. That camera has been drenched numerous times now on this channel and it hasn't skipped a beat.

WOW great images, fabulous weather and 3 outrageous photographers it doesn't get better than this
Thanks David. Very kind of you to say.
the beauty of 3 different perspectives at the same subject is invaluable
