Growing up, I had many scrapbooks I made. I loved them. Then smart phones came along. I started working and anything artsy made me feel like a waste of time and money. I had 2 kids and became a stay at home mom and now after 4 years I've finally realized doing art would be much better to do in front of my kids instead of internet surfing. Going to make a bullet journal and bust my scrapbook tub out.
I recommend the Ranger's archival ink stamp pad, as it is very pigmented and can be colored in after stamping since it is archival ink which is nice too! Love the theme!

It’s rather atmospheric.. 🤩 According to google it is probably from a book by French/Belgian author Georges Simenon, The cat/The man who watched the train go by, released in 1967. Tombow fineliners are my favorite for journalling. For some reason, Sakura microns cause my hands to hurt much faster than tombows, even though they are very similar. I love the ephemera you’re using! Re: future logs, I use a year at a glance as my cover page because I refer to it for week numbers and days of the week, and then I keep a two-page future log spread for trips and birthdays. For appointments and stuff I use the calendar on my phone so I don’t need much space.
My word for 2021 is genuine. I also just finished school and I am looking to embrace myself. im used to putting on masks for the people around me and I am so ready to be my genuine self! 💚

Two black ink pad recommendations: Memento tuxedo black - this is a dark black and works well with markers. It dries pretty quickly too Versafine Onyx - this is a pigment ink and is great for fine details but needs to dry not to smudge. It will smudge if you use most markers with it

🐸 I loved this whole setup. Your videos are always so inspiring. My word of the year is a Greek word: Metanoia. It means to turn from the darkness and face the light. I chose this word because 2020/2021 have been rough years, in terms of my mental health. But 2022 is the year that I will be really putting a lot of work into and focusing on my mental health. It’s time to prioritize that over all else.

I don't journal and I'm a month late in the year but this is really making me want to give this a try! The use of book pages and textured paper is so nice even though it makes me uneasy to rip up a book. 😂 💚
It’s never too late to start! I started my first bullet journal in June, and just started a new one whenever my notebook was full, regardless of what time of year it was☺️ The first time I started a journal in January I ended up throwing it away in February because it didn’t suit me lol. I think it’s important to go into it with the mindset that it’s just a journal, and it doesn’t have to be perfect❤️
My word of the year is ukiyo (浮世), which basically means floating and is used to express the want to live (or the process of living) in the moment - and that’s what I want to focus more on in 2022! Also i love your setup 😍🍀
Honestly I don't understand the whole theme thing, it feels so boring and restrictive. So props to you for making each spread individual, that's what I always do and almost never see this way of bullet journaling represented in youtubers videos ❤️🔥✨
In regards to western astrology, it's actually super common for people to not feel like they match their Zodiac sign, which is you being a virgo. Your zodiac sign as you know it is actually just your Sun sign. You also have a moon sign, rising sign, mercury sign, venus sign, mars sign, saturn sign, pluto sign, neptune sign, jupiter sign, among other things. A lot of folks who might not resonate with their sun sign, might resonate more with their rising sign. Western astrology is not nearly as simple as the commercialized versions would have us believe lol. Love the video

I don't usually do words of the year, but I do feel that in 2021 I lost my way future-wise. I did other stuff that I'm proud of, like holding down my first real job, but I still have ways to go. So, my word of 2022 is going to be "perspective". Whether it be new or different will have to be determined. c: Fun fact, I'm also a rooster so I'm guessing we are the same age! We're also using the exact same journal for next year. I will definitely check out your shop in the future, as my journaling has shifted from just washi tape decor to drawing and stickers as well haha, so my stash is dwindling really quickly. Whew. I had "growth" as my word of the year in 2018, and it was a super mixed bag. For anyone who chooses "growth" as their word of the year, I would recommend that you be sure to take care of yourself through your inevitable growing pains that come through the massive growth you'll experience in the next year. Edited to add: To be clear, I don't regret choosing that as my word of the year. But it was a really intense year, and I've been more conscientious of the words I've chosen since then. (2019's word of the year was "tranquility" if that helps you understand just how intense 2018 was for me, lol!) My 2022 bujo setup will be going live on my own channel in a little over a week... I'm excited to see what 2022 will bring for all of us! 🐉
Just so you know, many public libraries in Utah allow you to use printers there. Also, if you are staying at a hotel, they usually have printers to use. Beyond that, there are copy and print shops that will print computer files for you. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. ❤️

Oh I love the green notebook with the moon! When I first started journaling, I noticed that I kept using green notebooks (it wasn't a conscious choice, in fact I was given two out of three of them), but after that I decided to only use green notebooks.
📗This set up is so well done! I really like how you didn't restrict yourself to a particular colour scheme but the scrapbooking paper still kept it together, every spread it beautiful. I think my favourite is the future log, then the period tracker. Definitely saving for reference!
I think my word of the year is gonna be Restart! This year, I’m getting married (second wedding), starting a new job, and hooooopefully leaving Covid behind. Maybe Change would be a good word, too. 🤔

It's very refreshing to see you not have an overall Theme but just go wirh thw flow. It turned out really pretty. And because it's all so in your style it still somewhat fits together really good 👍

I don't journal and I'm a month late in the year but this is really making me want to give this a try! The use of book pages and textured paper is so nice even though it makes me uneasy to rip up a book. 😂 💚
It’s never too late to start! I started my first bullet journal in June, and just started a new one whenever my notebook was full, regardless of what time of year it was☺️ The first time I started a journal in January I ended up throwing it away in February because it didn’t suit me lol. I think it’s important to go into it with the mindset that it’s just a journal, and it doesn’t have to be perfect❤️

My word of the year is ukiyo (浮世), which basically means floating and is used to express the want to live (or the process of living) in the moment - and that’s what I want to focus more on in 2022!

In regards to western astrology, it's actually super common for people to not feel like they match their Zodiac sign, which is you being a virgo. Your zodiac sign as you know it is actually just your Sun sign. You also have a moon sign, rising sign, mercury sign, venus sign, mars sign, saturn sign, pluto sign, neptune sign, jupiter sign, among other things. A lot of folks who might not resonate with their sun sign, might resonate more with their rising sign. Western astrology is not nearly as simple as the commercialized versions would have us believe lol. Love the video

I don't usually do words of the year, but I do feel that in 2021 I lost my way future-wise. I did other stuff that I'm proud of, like holding down my first real job, but I still have ways to go. So, my word of 2022 is going to be "perspective". Whether it be new or different will have to be determined. c:

I use Ranger brand Archival Ink pads when I use stamps. They seem to work great. I haven’t tried much else.

Whew. I had "growth" as my word of the year in 2018, and it was a super mixed bag. For anyone who chooses "growth" as their word of the year, I would recommend that you be sure to take care of yourself through your inevitable growing pains that come through the massive growth you'll experience in the next year.

To be clear, I don't regret choosing that as my word of the year. But it was a really intense year, and I've been more conscientious of the words I've chosen since then. (2019's word of the year was "tranquility" if that helps you understand just how intense 2018 was for me, lol!)
My 2022 bujo setup will be going live on my own channel in a little over a week... I'm excited to see what 2022 will bring for all of us! 🐉
Just so you know, many public libraries in Utah allow you to use printers there. Also, if you are staying at a hotel, they usually have printers to use. Beyond that, there are copy and print shops that will print computer files for you. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you. ❤️

Oh I love the green notebook with the moon! When I first started journaling, I noticed that I kept using green notebooks (it wasn't a conscious choice, in fact I was given two out of three of them), but after that I decided to only use green notebooks.
📗This set up is so well done! I really like how you didn't restrict yourself to a particular colour scheme but the scrapbooking paper still kept it together, every spread it beautiful. I think my favourite is the future log, then the period tracker. Definitely saving for reference!
I think my word of the year is gonna be Restart! This year, I’m getting married (second wedding), starting a new job, and hooooopefully leaving Covid behind. Maybe Change would be a good word, too. 🤔

You used so much beautiful ephemera and I really liked your approach of not trying to go for one specific theme. I still think that your spreads fit really nicely together but also have so much individuality. And I'm a rooster (and a virgo too, what a fun coincidence) too but would've loved to be tiger for the sole fact that I love cats :D
